I’m not entirely sure they were still listening. When you hang up a land line phone, it takes some time before the VoIP technology times out and ends the call. If I were them, Perogi saying their boss pays off the police is validation that they’re protected and there’s nothing that can stop them.

Next time, tell the scammers that someone in their group is being paid by you and is giving you information about them. This will drive them all crazy wondering who it is.

It's good to see someone trying to put these scammers behind bars. I seem to have a lot of scammers call or email me these days. I'm at the point where I do not answer unrecognized phone numbers or emails.

My 82 year old mother who has dementia got scammed a couple of months back. Thank you for your work sir!

@@TheHabstrick I might add, my mother is a ferociously independent Scottish woman, who absolutely refuses to believe she even has dementia . I had to steal her car a couple of months ago, as she kept driving without a licence.. Police were involved and everything. Its a nightmare to deal with.

It strucks me how these criminals behave as if it's all fun and games even after they are exposed for commiting a serious felony - this is frikkin organized crime. Aren't they even afraid of being charged of all this??
So many of them are caught but you know in a population of 1.25 billion there is always that kind of people and jails cant be filled with all of them and the government also will have a problem providing all of them jobs so it is a bit relaxed. Most of these guys operate by bribing the local police station so if there is any raid or something these guys get the tip beforehand. Also if they get a bail then the case can go from anywhere between 15-30 years so that is why. These frauds are blatantly posting advertisement in facebook and they do not even take it down even after reporting

And that is also why we must ALL try to educate those around us, we cannot leave this up to one man. Talk to family, friends and neighbors about the different scams. The more people understand scammers and how they operate, the less chance they have of becoming victims.

You're wanting to clean up the blood on an open wound. It definitely helps us all see WHERE the wound is but it doesn't stop blood from pouring out.
There will always be old, lonely people in this world without any friends or family (if they're lucky they might get a call from social services here and there) that will be scammed.
The US and other countries need to create government agencies that hire computer science techs to do what this guy is doing. I guarantee you tons of CS techs would LOVE to do this because: 1) its badass to pursue and defeat these scammers; 2) its fun to oursmart someone like a game of chess; 3) its feels could to promote justice

I'm not convinced about him showing the photographs to them and they shutting down the computer. Where's the proof? This whole video was about the photographs and the scammers reaction to it and in the end the only proof he had for that happening was a blank screen and muted audio???? Two days ago, my parents told me that my grandpa tried to get scammed by saying I got in a car crash and I got arrested and they wanted a $7,000 bail. I did not get in a car accident and I was in school. It freaked my family out. Now, I love watching scammers getting a taste of their own medicine more than I did previously.
Hey, my family got that one about me. I answered it and went on a tirade about how my Lamborghini got totaled.
If you get these types of calls say 'ok maderchod' and cut the phone
I used to get calls from scammers saying ‘So you’ve recently been in an accident’ - and I had not. I just hung up on them but I’m sure they do this to make people believe they have to pay for damages or hospital bills.
My hubby just got one of those calls the other day claiming his son had been in a bad car wreck, was in the hospital ER needing surgery, etc. So he grilled the caller with questions demanding she tell him our son's name, the make of the car, where the wreck happened, what hospital was he in, etc. etc. The caller tried to stick to the script but got a bit flustered. Finally, hubby informed her that we don't have any human children, but our "son" who has 4 paws, whiskers and a long tail was currently laying next to the keyboard, purring and licking the dextop screen 😸, and furthermore he was tracing the call and would be turning her scamming butt 😾 in to the authorities. 😄😂🤣
I worked in a drug store for a while and turned people away when they came saying that and told them no im not letting you use the money gram I'm not selling you gift cards its a scam call your family they claim is involved and confirm with them
I just became a victim of an online scam and they are actively threatening me to pay more otherwise will ruin my career. I reached out to local police and did an online form on FBI but still no response. If anyone from US and knows who should i ask for help please let me know. The scammers locked my nursing account and actively asking for more money .

I get trading scammers calling me daily, and since I know the numbers when I see them (international), now I just pick up the phone and say ''Hello Indian scammer hotline, how may I help you''. They hang up immediately. So funny.

@@Shaunks86 They seem to frequently converse in Hindi at these offices, maybe because many employees are from the neighbouring Hindi-speaking Bihar province, as well as other parts of India
this stuff grosses me out and makes me sad. My sisters Instagram got stolen and they changed her account information. She has autism and they hacked her friend's account. They made her think it was her friend and talked to her like they were buddies then asked for money if she ever wants her account back again. She was absolutely devastated. The fact they pick easy targets makes my blood boil :(

Got a call from a scammer saying that my atm card is about to be blocked, when I asked him which bank, he lost his mind, cursed a lot and hung up. I swear these scammers are getting worse day by day xD

Today I got a call from “apple support” and tried to pretend to be a clueless old lady. The “technician” told me I had a “dumbass voice” I said “I’m very old” and he then said “bullshit” and hung up. Very rude of apple.

Depending on what state he lives in he probably can’t do that actually and just has to hand over said info to the proper authorities. He could (potentially, don’t know where in the US he lives) be breaking state laws in his area that heave some decent consequences
Also that's against RUclips policies of privacy and stuff. Because of this other RUclipsrs upload unblurred videos to their Patreon accounts and blurred ones to RUclips. Also they sometimes link names and information on the description but I think that is also against RUclips policies so they have no option

Does anyone else find these deflating? The build-up is as good as it gets because these scammers usually just continue to go about their business after they've been "exposed". A lot of the time there's excitement in the air when the scam baiter reveals himself.

I am an Indian. I have reported more than 10 fraud calls. The police does nothing, most of the time they don't even bother and sometimes they lash out at me saying that we can't do anything unless I actually lose my money. The numbers are still active and scamming people. This is really sad.

Scamming is not a big crime in India so and rewards are big I am an engineer it will take my 20 years savings to get a marcedis but thiese scammers git it for like 2-3 scamms .

I once almost got scammed like this as well. The guy on the phone said that my laptop had a virus and he would get rid of it or else I would lose all my important data. He said to follow his instructions. I was a naive or maybe stupid teenager at the time and I almost believed him. I did follow his instructions but not until the end. I realised half way that this might be a scam.
So I told him that I will get my laptop fixed from a local store. He kept trying to convince me that it’s not a good idea and the laptop can only be fixed with his help. He eventually got annoyed when he realised that I won’t listen to him and then put the phone down

Scammers are pretty sick. Imagine someone telling you they need surgery then continuing to do this. Legitimately they deserve the worst that's coming to them.
My mother fell victim to one of these scams a few years ago. As she was explaining what happened to me over ther phone I just wanted to slam my head on the desk at every red flag that this wasn't a legitimate transaction. But, people don't know. The tactics change frequently and the scammers put a lot of effort into making things seem legit, it's hard to keep up.
Thanks for doing this and putting these videos out. I'll be forwarding her these so she can see what goes on and what to keep an eye out for. Sad that you have to approach every call with a level of skepticism, but the world is what we've made it.

Here’s a red flag if something’s a scam.
I just prank called a scammer by hanging up when they answered, then they called me from a different number three times and I kept hanging up. I finally answered and said it was a butt dial, they would not let me use that answer, so that’s a major red flag when they won’t let you get off the phone.
"But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you." AWESOME!!
