IMHO, it's better to give all 3 +monarch power privileges to estates at the start, especially as a countries that expand quickly at the start(like a Kongo) because you will gain a lot of crown lands from the new territories
I agree I'm super used to the old coalition map mode. They changed it in the patch notes. "Modified the "Coalition" map mode to be more useful. Reds = enough AE and low enough opinion to join coalition; Ambers = enough AE but not low enough opinion, so full Amber = improve opinion NOW; Greens = not enough AE to join a coalition."
It seems like an unnecessary change. Like someone saw the cross and said, that's not representative. So what? It was perfectly fine, as was the defender of faith symbol.
My Catholic kongo run is going really well. I've almost conquered everything in Africa except for some parts of Egypt and a maghreb/berber lands before 1600. Catholic is so strong now.
You got to take the crown lands to build your army. Go to war, and then take the 5 loans to finace the expansion. move quick and gain trade, right out the gate (in most regions). You will be under in cash but you will make your economy grow faster sooner. The main goal of any African playthrough is to get off of Africa as fast as possible. Move into Spain and the Arabian peninsula as fast as possible.

Ah so that is how I need to read it. So green is still ok. Maybe it is a good change then.
Is your EU4 guides still up to date? Thinking of going back to it but been so long i dont remember anything 🤔
My tutorials are still fine. It all depends on which DLC's you use as well.
@@FlyingDutchy i have them all. Subscription
I'm pretty sure the Build shrined for heir adds an addional modifier and doesn't remove the modifier from your ruler's cult
Yes it gives 150% in total.
I miss the old religion tab icon...

Crownland is overrated in the early game. Sell titles and give it away. Through expansion you will gain it back.
Loving this series

Yes, let's play as a big nation with only small ones around: how unchallenged.
