This was an excellent helpful lesson. You explain things very well. You are a very gifted teacher. Not easy to find teachers with your ability. Thank you very much Kruu New
I love your videos. I discovered that if I forget something you taught it's easy to go to your videos and scroll down. It also helps me to learn by going back to remember
Another excellent lesson. When we say in English: "I want to buy..." - the "to" in "to buy" is not indicating spatial direction, it's presenting the verb "buy" in its infinitive form "to buy." The active verb in the sentence is "want" so it's in a conjugated form. Since Thai verbs don't conjugate, that "to" doesn't exist in Thai. This is a huge adaptation for English speakers to make. For the first time I understand it thanks to your clear, professional teaching. Thanks Again!
extremely useful and clarifying to me. clears up prior confusion around conjunction- to. I was a teacher for 35 years and know for sure you’re a great teacher. HW - ผมจะไปตลอดเพื่อจะซื้อแอปเปิ้ล ขอบคุ้มมากครู New
Your lessons are super helpful and extensive. I just run through your channel to get hints of a usage if I need to write or speak some Thai sentences and surely enough, I see a video in which you explain the usage I'm just looking for. ขอบคุณมากครับที่สอนให้เรา 😍
Great lessons. I learned so much from you. I'd love to hear more lessons with female speakers (Chan) if possible. Homework Assignment: Chan ja bpai dtalot peua seua appon. Khup khun Kha.
Useful lesson ✍️🙂 thank you. "To" confusing -more practice I guess. Monday to Friday - wan jan teung suk...ถึง teung - "to" but defined like, "through/get to/reach to" teung-(wan) suk...Expected sii "daeng - red" in 'Red Cross' vocab...(?) hai-to the Red Cross... donate - bor-ri-jaak to "hai sà-paa-gaa-châat-tai" (classifier-more than one apple?) "Pom ja bpai dta-laat seu ap-bpern look"
pŏm jà bpai dtà-làat pêua jà séu àep-bpêrn Very good 😊 You don't need to worry about plural in general Thai sentences. But if you wonder about classifier N of apple. Correct it is lôok
Kruu New, I know the topic of this lesson is about the preposition "To", but your lesson would have been more useful if you had included examples with the preposition "From" in them for the second and third cases. As you know, when there is a notion of distance, duration of time, or giving and receiving, these two prepositions are very often used together. For example: "The distance FROM Pattaya TO Chiang Mai is about 816 km.", or "This blood donation is FROM students TO the Thai Red Cross." I suggest you make a lesson about the preposition "From" as a complement to this lesson. Thanks for all your time and efforts in making all these great lessons.
Fantastic lesson, very useful to know thanks! :) I find it weird, though, that Thais only say "pom" for "my hair" :p If I wanted to be precise, can I say "pom kong pom"? Also the "comes down to my waist" part, why is it "yaao" in there? You said it means long. Is it a part of the "comes down to"?
You can say pŏm kŏng pŏm, definitely if you want to specify 😊 You can think about the word yaao for come down to but only in this case though Hair is long until ...
@@thailessonsbynew - The interest rates on savings, currently being offered by banks on more or less a global basis, are so incredibly poor that your company's dividend would be a welcome tonic. Thanks New.
This lesson is too long. You should have broken into six videos with more examples for each type. The advantage of broken into smaller videos of 5-10 minutes each is that we can review things that we forgot after a few months from now instead of searching 30 minutes for that example that we forgot. For example, 'peua ja' is actually quite complicated and can't use in some situations.
