I like how all the exhausts brands sound good on the MT07. I got Akrapovic. Also, get earplugs, LOL took me a while to get it but it helps block out the noises of the outside and minimizes the wind and engine noise. The engine still sounds loud and i find that i ride more focused now.
Thats beautiful. That would rattle dentures. It's so loud the baffle would sound good in it and on special occasions grace the streets. I've heard louder on harleys but for a street bike this is f..... awesome hahaha.
Real question: I’ve been riding my ninja 400 for almost a year now but I want to upgrade. I was really interested in the mt-07/mt-09. I want these naked bikes because they have lots of torque and are fun bikes. I also want to buy a 600 because I love going fast. I really can’t decide which to go for. Only reason I dont want to pick a 600 is because there would not really be anything to look forward to besides a 1000. I really want to take my time and have fun on these bikes instead of just rushing to buy the fastest bikes.
Theres no rush at all! Take your time, and you'll enjoy every bike i promise you that! 🙏 When I upgraded to the Mt07 from the 400, it was a SOLID upgrade. The torque on the Mt07 is a change, like you can feel your body slide off the seat a little on a WOT in first gear...i was a bit scared i will be honest lol. But take your time, I would move up to a Mt07 or Mt09 if you want to have fun and just chill on the street. Remember, you can ride ANY bike you want, as long as you know throttle response and have respect for the mechanical beast, you'll be fine 👍

Did you install any kind of tuner? I just installed my sc project on my Mt07 it was loud. I installed the rapid bike module and air filter and it even louder. Just curious if you experienced the same thing.
No tune at all on my bike! I definitely wanted to tune the ECU and get some more power out of the rev ranges. I know for sure it gets louder because Yamaha definitely put restrictions on the CP engine for the Mt07/R7

A loud exhaust is a pure symphony while riding lol but also this engine just sounds so beastly with an exhaust

A LITTLE loss in power but thats where tune comes in. Highly recommend a tune 👍

It's a Vvivd Fluorescent yellow wrap and I just did a half moon wrap around the edge of the rim on both sides 👍
