This is a really strong candidate for the Best Cinematography Oscar 2022.
Fun video. But, as a camera person for CBS, let me offer some points: 1.) It's okay to use " auto focus " features on cameras ( even on cell phones ). BUT, the difference between that setting and a manual focus setting is LIGHTING. The more lights you have on inside any room, the better the focus. Don't be afraid to asks the hosts if there are ways to light up darkened areas simply to help out the camera with the auto focus features. 2.) Great walk and talk presentation but tripods can also help as well.
Fun tour and it's always wonderful to see the guys in DT share their beautiful/creative space. Thanks for this!
Post production footage stabilizer is a must on these cases as well.
I think they're using the "Cinematic" setting on an IPhone. not a good Idea...
@@leddygee1896 No way. This is a DSLR or a mirrorless camera (which is even worse since those have incredible AF techonology)
I feel like I've had about 15 pints watching this.
Young guitar magazine was trying to hire a proper videographer to do this but one of the bosses said "My nephew can do it for 1/3 of the cost, he has a good camera". That's the result

Camera work aside, the quality of the actual content is really nice! The interviews are different from the typical stuff.

Nice tour but I've rarely seen such a poor camera job, oh boy...
Have you ever heard of a wide angle lens? Also auto focus? If you can't do it manually, rely on the technology to do it for you. It's easier to blame the equipment 👌
