@@thesacredorb4838 Well my problem was that I couldn't get the subscription for it, so I went to the software library and once I registered it gave me this code to input, so I went to the wacom and clicked "I already have a free subscription/trial" and entered in the code.

I wouldn't really call myself an artist but I was thinking about getting this because I'm learning how to make games and want to make better art for my games do you think this is a good recommendation for someone like me or would it be best to get something cheaper or do you recomend different methods to make art? Thank you I would really appreciate your input on this!
I don't think you can beat getting a tablet like this when it comes to creating digital art, especially if you don't have a huge budget. Its so much more intuitive to use a stylus than a mouse.
Blackthornprod, an indie game dev, uses the pro version of these - and I suspect he will have started with a budget one himself at one time

Just got this today. I'm learning how to draw traditionally and digitally so I can draw my characters from my story and eventually will make an animation with them

its been three years, how is it?
Bruh I forgot all about this comment lmao. Well let's just say I've upgraded to the Wacom One tablet thanks to unemployment and covid money in 2020. The journey was a lot more rough than I thought. I had to focus on mental exercises as well and not just the drawing. I had to learn to be patient, don't compare myself to other artists, and stay consistent as much as possible. I recently bought a course for only 127 and I've been on it every night practicing non stop until I'm satisfied. I've been posting some of my writing in Deviant Art and Wattpad. There's a lot to learn in writing for me but I'm still going. Progress is slow admittedly but I've progressed a lot since 2020 I can say that.
Personally, the XP-Pen Deco 01 I used worked great on photoshop, toonboom and a few other programs I use.Something like that might be better for your budget.
Otherwise Wacom intuos are like $100-$200 for the comic/art versions.
I really would say save up to get the pro version or I don't think you will get much more out of it than what you have.

Question- I’m not sure if this is a glitch or not (since Wacom was persistent it saying that in order for it to work a ‘driver’ needs to be checked off in settings in input, however I don’t have that at all and it works perfectly fine?) Is that supposed to happen or-

QUESTION: where do i draw exactly? I mean... What app, button, etc. to start drawing? Because all i see are people showing "HOW TO DRAW" tutorials! But i can't draw on a blank screen now can i?

my first drawing pad was a koala Pad for the C-64.
I did what you did, but something isn’t right. After restarting my computer as instructed, the pop up didn’t appear to instruct me on what to do. I’m confused. It’s been months since I had this device and I’m still struggling to learn how to connect, let alone use it. I dont know what’s wrong.

Hey i just got my tablet and i was wondering if its normal that the nib is kinda loose... Like it moves a bit. Amazing review btw
ErikTitan thanks! It’s shouldn’t be loose, try removing it and adding it back in or use a replacement.
@@antCGi i already tried that. By loose i mean that the tip is not completely stiff there is a little room for it to move. Like half a milimeter. Is that normal ?

You should be able to download the drivers and set it up that way.

I just got the Wacom intuous cause I want to start an educational channel.
I've logged in and I can see some educational softwares; Bamboo paper, Pear Deck, Limnu, Kami, Explain Everything, and Collaboard.
Please can you advise on which of these is more useful to use as a whiteboard for online courses. And can I download them all or just 1?

You could get a cheap USB bluetooth dongle, but you can also use it plugged in with the cable for now.

To write, should the pen be held over the tablet without contact or should the pen tip touch the tablet
The pen needs to touch the tablet otherwise you just move the cursor without leaving any marks.
i get a page where they want me to pay 50 euros for the drivers is there a way for me to just get it for free??

I can not get it to work with my widescreen monitor. It drags put everything I draw.
I have this tablet, in PS CC2019 you have to press really hard to erase an opaque line completely, in a point you can damage the tablet surface and also the pen tip. Really weird and I can't figure out how to fix it
Have you tried the usual, deleting and reinstalling drivers? Adjusting the pressure sensitivity in the Wacom Desktop Center controls?
in the settings you can toggle pressure sensitivity on or off, or even map it to any of the buttons or radial menus

I have two monitors and my pen keeps moving the mouse to the wrong one lol. Is there a way to lock and or sync the tablet to the program.
In the settings you can restrict it to a monitor or a certain area, so this should solve your issues.

You can use a Bluetooth dongle, or just plug it in directly with the cable.

Me: That's the tool I almost always use that's why I started searching for a different tablet with a stylus with an eraser let me know if its a waste of money and i can use a different stylus for it.

Have you tried to uninstall and then reinstall the drivers? Is Windows up to date?
I installed the drivers and it crashed my windows 10, it kept restarting but wouldn't fully boot. I've had to restore my computer and scared to reinstall the drivers now 😩
That’s awful! Sorry to hear that. I’d contact @wacom to see if they can help.
I have heard it will not work on Wind 10 S...so what version do you have? That may make a difference...and you have to install the drivers before you do anything on the tab. I would check with the store you go the device from, it may be faulty, or there may be a NEW driver to install with, not all sites have the correct drivers for the one you have. Check model number on back of your tab too. Some are 2018, others 2019 versions. Hope this helps.
