The coolest thing is to see the red spot. I have an 8" Celestron. I watched the spot for 3 hours as it went from one side to the other, then disappearing.
@@taradactule6052 - well, then you're about there. If you can see the distinction between the bands, then you should be able to see the red spot. If you can't when you initially look, just wait a while. Jupiter revolves on its axis very quickly, roughly every 10 hours. There's a 3 hour window that it's visible. Keep looking up!
Hi there .can you help me over here. Actually Im thinking of buying orion XT0 classic( 10 inch dobsonian). Can you tell me wheather it's good for both deep sky and planetary imaging or its just good for planets?
Live view is my favorite. Sure a long exposure photo that has been stacked well can look incredible, but there's something about just observing it in real time.
What an amazing but heavy setup. If the OTA is 25lbs, the counterweight is the same. And the mount must be equally sturdy! Works well for you and these deep sky treasures. Anyone can appreciate them even if they live in a city. I was observing Pleiades and Orion Nebula with a full moon that nignt! All your targets were beautifully captured. A joy to be able to use your setup for observing and photography.
Dispite the awesome pics NASA and Hubble provide online, there is some more personal in hands on viewing and you provide that same element, thanks. If I had the money I would put a remote controlled dome enclosed telescope on my roof viewed through my 200 inch projected screen.
I'm always amazed that the stars in the sky are so far away that they are measured in light years. To think that the star-light from Pleiades as we see it is basically looking into the past (it would have been the year 1576 when that light was emitted). I know some stars we can see on Hubble telescope date back so many light years they are practically on the edge of the big-bang. It goes to show how insignificant our planet is in the grander scale of the universe.
I have chills up my spine, you've managed not only a beautiful view of Jupiter but of the red storm as well...truly jawdropping images sir. Have you been able to catch sight of SPACEX'S Starlink Satellite chain in your viewer??
Please recommend lenses and filters or what ever comes to your mind for dobsonian 8 inch bought it recently :) thank you. I have barlow x2 but it doesnt seem of a good quality and mark iV universal zoom for lazy nights :) btw very nice video , every time I look at orion nebula it amazes me...
Great work love your videos. Your link says your using an orion 10" skyquest ? Just wondered what telescope and tripod you are using in this video. Thank you 👍
It's an old EQ6 Mount I bought second hand and the 10" Tube. I always link the Version with the Dobson Mount because an expensive Equatorial Mount is not necessary for Live View Observation. Only for Long Exposure Photography.
Hey there buddy, Im deeply interested in the Night Sky and I'm about to buy my first telescope. Which is the most powerful telescope one can buy right now?
I'm looking at buying the same telescope you're using here, but I would like to ask, what do you use to crisp the image up for that truly breathtaking image? Is that the telescope or computer software? Many thanks
I remember that Pleiades is also known as the Seven Sisters, but I count only 6 bright blue stars. Which star in the photo is considered the 7th sister? Is it the one on the right, between two of the bright ones? There's also a bright one next to the bright one at top left. Could the small cluster next to the second star from the left resolve as a single unit from a greater distance? Just curious.
This is awesome 👌, glad to watch this video, I wish I could buy a telescope but I am unable to, saving money from past 4yrs for it but this covid-19 desaster eating up my savings, but hey no issues I will buy atleast one telescope before I die, long way to go no worries till that time I will watch all of your videos and will stay surprised.

Amazing! How do you make those long time exposure photos look so clear? It is amazing
Does your EQ 6 have issues with staying in alignment or wobbling with that heavy scope?
can you also see all of this with the Celestron Powerseeker 127eq?
Great music

Unbelievable beautiful
Are those real colors? no filter? Amazing!
Bro, can you see space objects with magnitude +20 through your telescope...?
I dont think so. Even if you have very good dark skies I think you need something bigger.
