I almost picked one of these up on sale for $400 us. I probably should have just done it even though I don’t really need another hunting rifle. Nice review.

Fantastic shooting, great video, I love this new rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. I want the .308 version next. Save and reload that brass and your groups will tighten up mate. I suspect that your barrel got a little hot that lead to the widening groups. Thank you from Idaho USA!

That's a beautiful rifle and nice shooting as well. It would appear by the way that the casting of the shadows on the ground shifted , that you shot all of these different brands of ammo simultaneously. The first group was the best group. Good shooting. However , it's highly probable that if you wait 24 hours in between trying each lot of different ammo that you could really narrow down the brand that that Mauser prefers. The harmonics need that much time to settle. However, I guess someone could luck up on the tack driver of the whole alloted run of rifles made in that model. Good shooting. From across the pond , cheers!

I have a question does it come into standard 7.92 x57 that's basically an 8 mm Mauser the original caliber for the k98 Mauser that is one hell of a big cartridge that is a Canon cartridge that's what the Mauser was made for and I do shoot a 308 and I also shoot the Mauser 8 mm from 1937 that's what stamped on the boat receiver it's a it's a checkingSlovakian VZ 24 8 mm German Mauser rifle and it's a 70-year-old rifle and I can drop anything at 200 yd on up with open sights

For some reason my DB10ELB308 does not like the Hornady American whitetail ammo either but my Browning 7mm08 makes one hole groups with them 139 grain and the 150 grain hornady precision hunters at 100 yards
When I started using the Federal power-shok the DB10 shot them like it was made for them both the 180 and 150 grains produced almost one hole groups including the federal fusion 180 grain same thing so that is what I use now
That Australia outback ammo 165 grain sierra BTSP looks good but would be hard to get in the US

🇦🇺😎👍Hey mate I’ve got one in .308 and I love it however the magazine catch does have a fault. Never put your finger up the mag well as the catch spring has no retainer. I flexed it and it fell out never to be found again… Ever !.. I took it back to the shop where I brought it ( Cleaver Firearms) where they fixed it for free. . Apparently the rifle has a design fault that can only be fixed permanently by buying an aftermarket stock , which I did…Great gun 🏁

You were using the cheapest hornady ammo they make. Try SST or Hunter Precision. Nosler 165’s shoot very well out of 308 as well
