I'll never forget how stoked you would get at our little grommet Super 8 projector parties with my home made sound systems and synched cassette soundtrack (if the film didn't jam up and melt in the projector LOL)! So rad that almost 40 years later we're still doing basically the same thing! Blessed love and respect!!

I’m still struck, all these years later, that I could not find people to surf with me at Playa Negra or Avellanas back in the day. Surfing alone is great, but after a few weeks and months, it would have been nice to have a couple people to share the place..
We would have been there with you brada...but we were surfing solo in Bali on the Bukit 🤣🤣🤣After that got packed we moved to Negra there was still no one around 🤣🤣🤣 Should have stayed in the tropics G 🤣🤣🤣
Mad respect my man you have the integrity backed up by paying heavy dues where most would fold and go back to mommy, drugs, alcohol, etc.
I went to Playa Negra last June 2019 the day after their annual contest week.... I hooked up with TR and he hooked me up....surfed main break almost every day low and high tides....yes lined up at the hut and mt. off the rock and was in the water alone for a ton of sessions...the best ones were when 3 or 4 of us were out. I agree the solo sessions were fun but I was holding back on getting super crazy and after you come out of a barrel letting a turtle know he is a MOP is not as fun.... ....
