  • Loading a 5.3L LS Engine from a 2002 Suburban into a 1951 Chevrolet 3100 Truck with a 1996 Chevy S10 Frame. I'll show how I installed the motor, then in Part 2 how I moved it backward.

    My concern is when you cut a chunk out of the frame you should have used thicker steel when boxing the hole back in . Hope it does not crack and break.

      Valid concern, thicker could be better, but we're at least replacing with equivalent thickness, if not slightly thicker.

    Nice job getting it to fit, my guess is it probably takes 4 or 5 swaps to get things down, lol, at least you did it once already, like the fab work on the K member, your cheating with the plasma cutter, ha ha
