The first two games on PS1 had such simple combat but it was charming, and they still managed to make clever boss fights out of them. Those games still hold up after 2 decades despite not being open-world.
My favorite has to be web of shadows because the red suit combat is more like a melee type And Black Suit Combat is more destruction and more brutal!

Web of Shadows really took combat and said screw it and made the best system

@@SpiderBen been toying with this idea of showing off WOS combat for the longest time but I don’t know how I’d approach it and format the video because there’s so much to it
You’d almost have to make a separate part on every little thing like wall combat, web strikes, etc. If you give it a shot I’d love to see what you come up with!
@@SpiderBen I think what I'd do is split the video into two sections or even 2 videos showcasing all combos with the red and black suit
