- This group made up of Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, and Pras Michel was with us for only a few short years in the ‘90s, and only released two studio albums. Whatever they lacked in quantity though, they more than delivered in quality. In fact, their second, and to date last, album they released has been touted by many critics to be one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever. So, what happened? Why didn’t this trio go on to produce many more masterpieces and, no doubt, reach even further heights in hip hop history?

You better come through with the facts!!! Thanks for this comment! I was about to forget about Nicole Wray's debut being in 1998 also. I didn't know it was on the exact same day though. Wow. August 25th is also the same day Aaliyah died in 2001.

Lauryn’s the type of person that she can’t walk into the room because the vibe, chakra and gravitational pull are not alighted! During Lauryn’s video, what needs to be discussed, how she would tell people her and Rohan were (spiritually) married but he was still married to another woman. How Rohan had a children with her lauryn’s cousin that was her assistant (and I think was pregnant around the same time as Lauryn), her vibe magazine interview, how odd it was and all that mess!

The Fugees' The Score is a timeless classic hip-hop album!!! The album was released on the same day as Mad Skillz's debut album From Where and 2Pac's 4th album All Eyez on Me on February 13th 1996
The Fugees are one of my all time favorite groups, I've always wondered what happened? Thank you, great video.
I now remember what happened to all of them on why they broke up and never reunited the first time around. But I'm now finding out that they've reunited recently performing their 5 hit songs! It's better than them not connecting ever again! When Pras is eligible for parole hopefully they can reunite again, but all of them have to be healthy enough to do it. Thanks for this update and hope all will be well for them now and into the future.

I’m glad things got patched up, but for you to be married and sleeping around only to blame the second woman. It takes two to tango, but you sir were supposed to be off the market from the jump street. From my understanding, Lauryn stayed out of the spot light. She loves music but she also loves that humble family dynamic. I look forward to seeing her own dedicated video. ❤

Fugees is one of my favorite groups of all-time. We all were bumping their music in our headsets. Most groups don’t last a long time, but they manage to release two albums before call it quits. They have reunions every once and a while .
I’m so happy I grew up listening to real music like the Fugees. It made me appreciate how musicians put a lot of hard work and soul into their music.
Anyone remembers 90's hip hop Duo "Nice and Smooth" (Greg Nice and Smooth B) always wondered what happened to them!!😊😊
Wyclef Jean is a legend as a rapper, singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer. But Wyclef Jean definitely deserves more credit as a producer. He has produced for everyone such as Shakira, MC Jin, City High, Kevin Michael, just to name few.

Just from the recent pictures in this video alone, Lauryn looks like she's in a much happier and healthier place mentally than she was in the recent past. She looks good too! I'm glad to see her do something with her hair besides the basic afro/low cut she's been doing for the past few years. It had just screamed that she was in some sort of turbulent and minimalistic place mentally.
Side Note: I've always found Pras to be one sexy brotha!!!

I never knew she Lauryn Hill was a side piece, then got pregnant and didn't know who the dad was. I'm not judging but let's be honest If this was a story about someone in the current generation you guys would be judging her and talking about how " people have no morals these days".
I mean Wyclef was in the wrong since he was the one who was married if they were both single then it’s fair game but I can imagine thinking you’re the father to find out it’s some other dude would hurt but since he was already married if it was his it would have been a worse experience to have to tell your wife that you got your band mate pregnant as well 🤦🏾♂️

I only brought up Lauren because many people use her to put other women down, " Lauryn didn't dress like that, " Lauryn had respect for herself". I actually try not to judge but i wish people would be fair and not hold younger people to such high standards.
