Literally the best ski run video ever made. It checked all the boxes:
- No music
- Very little to no talking
- A talented skier consistently in front of the camera going downhill
- Trail names mentioned in the video on the fly... with color coded graphics, no less. Nice touch by the way.
Well done.
Wow! Really appreciate the kind words! Thanks for commenting! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video
Skied Schoolmarm 50 years ago. Yep, Colorado winters are the best Thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Just ski’d here today!
Sweet!
Heading to CO for the 1st time in december, came across your top to bottom vids and love em. Keep it up my man
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed them 🤙
Great video with no un-needed chatting, just skiing. WONDERFUL. I love Keystone and A-Basin.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Had to watch it twice. Lol. Really enjoyed it. Wife and I will be there toward the end of January. Love that run.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching
Great vid! I'm going in January and this gets me pumped
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for the kind words 🙏
Thanks for posting this. I’m nervous to ski out west for the first time. This helped ease my worry.
Awesome! Glad you found it helpful 👍
@@FinerBub yes. I’ve only skied in Michigan. So this is going to be interesting.
Oh you’ll definitely have a blast
What a coincidence! I peaked altitude while watching you.
Hahaha nice 😎
Beautiful view😍 and nice voice 😉☺️. I will come back Keystone ❄️❄️ last time 2004 I guess it is time to come back 🌨🌨 :)
Thanks 🙏
Please do more ski resort reviews. It really helped to watch the Stratton one before I went
Hey, Thank you so much for the positive feedback! I'm thrilled that you found the Stratton video helpful. I really enjoyed making it and I'm proud of how it came out. I definitely plan to make more videos like the Stratton guide but I also don't want to publish anything that feels incomplete. I started a few projects after the Stratton video but early on in the process I realized that over the last decade or so I hadn't spent nearly as much time, or accumulated as much footage, at other mountains compared to the amount of time I had spent skiing and filming at Stratton, Mount Snow and Killington. Not to make excuses but the majority of the video content I produce is based around opinions I've developed through my own experiences. That's not to say that I couldn't just do more research on certain topics to supplement my lack of knowledge and then base my videos around whatever I happen to learn through that process, I definitely could, but it just wouldn't feel like I was making as much of a contribution. So long story short, in time, I do plan to make more ski resort guides. I'm just waiting until I feel like I can make them as good as I made the previous three...
Looks good!👍 Opening here is next weekend… I want to ride so bad!
Yeah. Gotta scratch that itch lol
Same for me, I can’t wait!
Please ski at snow basin in Utah it's a great place to ski and alot of enjoyable runs to ski and it has amazing food and events.
I’ll try to make it out there some day. Thanks for the recommendation!
I lived in Colorado Springs and Keystone 91 to 96
Sweet
I would be interested in operating a snowtrak to enable me to move back to Colorado
Nice! Yeah those guys are the unsung heroes of the ski mountains
As an eastern skier myself I'm not used to long runs. I saw a rest stop at one point in the right. If one would need another break would you recommend behind a slow sign? I'm not a fan of stopping on the sides as that's where I typically like to ski for the freshest snow as do many others. Also thought maybe the downhill side of existing slopes as people would probably cut the inside corners.
Resting behind a slow sign is a good idea. If you stop anywhere else just make sure you are in a high visibility area for people coming down behind you.
I am going here in march
Nice 🤙
where would you suggest someone go in Colorado for vacation ive never been out of my state in the south and i want to spend a week there, also should i stay at a resort or get a airbnb?
I prefer Airbnb. I’d check out steamboat or aspen. Haven’t been to Telluride yet though
What ski were you and your friend using? I couldn't tell what brand your friends skis were.
Mine are line sick days and his are k2 reckoners
Can you post a video in the park?
I’ll try to get some footage next time I’m there 👍
Skrttt
🤙
Anyone else heading to keystone rn????
Lol just tore my ACL there last week
Are they checking vaccine passports to enter the summit house?
Yes
@@FinerBub i’m making a fake vaccine card specifically for the summit house.
That’s dumb for health reasons…Especially dumb since you declared it publicly.
They are. I was just there today.
🙏
