You know, legend has it that That Thing was a Steve with a twin attached to him, and when him and Alex were attacked by zombies, she left him for dead, and the zombies ate them both alive. Then, he was brought back to life with a voodoo spell, turning him into a world of pain and loneliness...and by the way on how it screams, you can really hear the fear in them...almost like he's begging for help at 2:02:12...or that he just wants comfort...it just breaks my heart everytime...😥😖😔

Sounds can indeed represent fear if you dont know what is watching you, either alone or not and sounds can be more scarier if your believing in spirits or other dark things, like example: your alone in a city and you hear a distant ice cream truck jingle but there is nothing insight, not even a single working car aswell

I just wanna say they found a really good place to live. There’s a lot of really good types of trees. Around them seems like also they’re building skills are amazing. I haven’t finished the video yet but they seem like really good friends so far. Also dang two hours. This is gonna be fun. When I first saw the timestamp I considered the possibility this was a compilation, the fact the sound played at the very start and some other things reinforced this suspicion. But no, blud really turned one story into 2 hours.
Usually I shy away from long videos because I might get bored or not have time, usually willing to make an exception for compilations, but this was actually really riveting and had me hooked start to finish.

CREATIVE MODE
While this was a great remake, i feel like the final part was a little goofy. Like I was pretty scared in the first half of the video but when the video got into the second half, it felt like it started to lose it's charm. I feel like the sound That Thing makes is pretty unnerving when you hear it alone by yourself in a world, but when seeing the model for That Thing finally happened, they both kind of didn't fit with each other. Also I'm gonna be honest when That Thing was just on top of some blocks and then jumped down to grab North, that was really funny, which is good cus I don't mind some humor in this long remake. Sorry if I was a bit rude, I just wanted to give my thoughts. Otherwise I really enjoyed this remake, you did a great job working on this!

It’s known as That Thing. It takes the form of Steve, but taller and with 4 extra arms that are stuck in a T-pose state and 2 extra eyes

Theory: that thing is a wendigo, it marks territory by scratching trees explaining the sliced tree and they stalk their prey they are also said to be cursed with ever lasting hunger so they are always hunting

Ok, here's what I know about it....The thing is not really trying to hurt you at all in the first place... but fear can trigger its aggression. It is really more a nertural enemy than a hostile one. Although it's not nertural in the same way with mobs like pilings. If you ever see this in the future try not to be scared...as it may not want to hurt you at all and make this want to try to communicate with you...But it can sense fear, and if you show fear it will become hostile. People have reported it doesnt always go for the attack. The reason it may stalk you is to see if you truely fear it or not
