What do you guys think of this device? ;et me know in comments below.
Looks excellent, well worth it. Thanks for the great videos
How about you show this in real use, rather than the product itself? Get a failed laptop or if you have cheap build small pc, fail it intentionally and recover or use the different tools. I think people would appreciate it more than just talking about basic specs and showing how it looks. Just a feedback.
It's not even about using software like Medicat, there was no need to talk about that at all. All the actual device is, is an SSD enclosure with an LCD screen on it.
That's exactly what I was thinking as I typed my comment above. A practical hands-on demo of actually fixing a problem e.g. duff hard drive, duff memory, Windows screwed. I had a situation a few days ago when one PC wouldn't boot. Hard drive activity LED permanently alight, not even POST. Eventually I removed the graphics card and it booted.
Nice content, I like the way you are covering these cool devices like the mini PC from yesterday.
Wait, is this a review of the device or Medicat?
Thanks for sharing.Well explained
Very interest gadget. Very neat. I don't know whether I would ever need it, but it's nice to know it exists. I learnt a thing or two as well. For example, I didn't know that such incredibly small SSDs are available, although not cheap. One question: this tool plugs into the PC via the supplied USB cable, but how is a keyboard connected in order to navigate the display options and tools?
Thats almost exactly what im looking for 4 my Medicat. Well worth more investigation. Thanks
Thanks for watching
Interesting.. A nice small device.. currently I don't have a need for it.. but.. perhaps I would get one.. Thanks..
you do realise that when they say 10gb/s thats gigabit, however when crystal disk smart says 1000 GB/s thats gigabytes, so with that you over 8000gb/s just with that drive you had in (8 bits in a byte)
That device was on Kick-starter & it got backed fast!! Nice handy little device for $69 - £55 but its pricey for a 2TB 2230 SSD £180 to £200 but.. that in mind
It's a good tool to have in your arsenal with the maximum 2TB drive. I can see it being used in a lot of ways' PC Tech, Games, Simple storage backup etc.. 🖖
Yeah, the 2TB drives are not cheap
Hard to say depends on user
Great video!!. What a handy little device!!. Would it be fast enough to play games right from the drive?. To use it as sort of a portable game drive also?.
You could do
yes, the 10gbps bandwidth will be the limiting factor so i suggest to use a low end nvme drives which usually have a write speed of 1GBps. its still faster than sata ssd and in term of game loading times, you won't notice diff perhaps 1-3 seconds longer which is absolutely fine tbh.
Nice one Brian sure would saves a lot problems that one might find arises. The feature I think that it does is the decryption feature so making it for those who post malware on their machines in the form of ransomware. Now Brian I have searched the internet for this device but cannot find where to buy one and the SSD that will fit it could you please send a link to th device you used.
? Thanks John
Looks great...bit small..I'd probably lose it 😂😂..Every new idea, unearths an old problem
Good video ! Question...where can we get mini windows 10? Is it that easy to un crypt a drive that was attacked by randsom ware?
How about a comparison video of 10, 15 or more years ago what that device would be in size and capability ?
I have an older PC that does not support USB-C. What do I do? Use and older USB cable?
Can you format a mini M.2 on it? If I get a valid Win 10 Pro key, from your sponsor, is there a time limit from them? Thank you 🤓
Rather regular nvme enclosure with regular sticks. Dont need to know transfer speed
Wow, and it's so small. 👍
Hum Brian mate having problems finding how to make a bootable Medicat USB stick any thoughts please?
Cool tool!!! Which USB-C to USB-A adapter you would need for non-USB-C ported computers??
you can but type c to type a adapters
@@Britec09 Thanks.
Nice looking device
Thanks
looks good
Hi Brian, what is a good bot loader? paid version will do
I think you ought to say that it could help to repair Windows. Not every one has a system with USB-C connector.
Cool!
Thanks
Would this help me get files back from my NAS which has the files locked (not by me) ?
Guess you do not reply to anyone :(
Nice tool.....
Chees
Voice were surprising
👍👍
Thanks
I ordered this device form Dockcase but never received it and have been unable to get any response from them on the status of the order. Would not recommend ordering anything from this company. There is no telephone number to contact them and they do not respond to emails.
Critical Process Died” Error How to fix
I know you want to use the click baity titles but please include the actual device name of the product in the title. It will help us alot, because right now it's super unhelpful and I hate it even when Linus does this (from linus tech tips)
portable apps !1
I bought 2TB external drives from China nowhere near those prices plus if I want I could add some repair programs again some for free as well. sorry this is a rip off.
lol OK
There's nothing wrong with them making a bit of profit and I wouldn't call it a rip-off!
@@ao4514 You are right about the 'big profit'
@@ao4514 I bought 2 x 2tb external drives for £26 plus 1tb drive for £12
Try to run H2testw on it. Most likely it overwrites itself losing data in the process!
I smell a paid review.
That is right Jason as said in video, SPONSORED video CDKEYSALES and right at the beginning you are told with popup.
