Same exact experience 8 months (excluding the banging with the clip). My zipper issue is in the exact same spot and I'm worried it's about to give. That being said, best bag I have ever owned.
I've used this bag with a Dell XPS 15 for about a year now and the problem you point out about the zipper on the laptop-compartement is real. The zipper on my bag broke loose from the fabric in that exact point recently. On the positive side, Peak Designs lifetime warranty is equally real and they're shipping a new bag to me. Hopefully they will have improved this point in the newer bags.
Ole Andreas Flaaten Jonsgård I had this exact problem until it broke the zipper chain lose preventing me from closing it. I talked to the shop I bought it from (bought it soon after the kickstarter was done and 3rd part stores was able to stock their products) and got a brand new one in replacement.
Really appreciated to have a 1-year usage review here. We all got all types of feature-focused video around and yours definitely one of the keys filling up to have the completeness in particular the durability. Thank you and look forward to watching your other value/meaningfulness added reviews.
thinking about getting one of these bags. love the design. good to hear it holds up. had no idea that it comes with a lifetime warranty.... awesome. one suggestion on the camera banging while you have both bag and camera, which I assume is on a neck strap, on you at the same time while moving. get a sling strap like the blackrapid which has a movable lock that locks the position of the camera until you need to take a shot with easy to lock/unlock knob. it won't move while walking/moving around once you lock it down on your side. great design. might be a solution for you if you haven't tried yet... I know this vid is 2 years old now... lol. take care!
I bought this bag when it first came out, and returned it immediately because it would fall over no matter what I did, so it's not just your combo doing it. Glad someone pointed this out.
loba2loba how to burn it if it’s just tiny? Glad I see your comment here, just bought the 10L Sling not long ago and there’s few “fuzz”(didn’t know this is called fuzz, new word learned!), was going to cut it but now I glad I check around a bit first!
You're totally right! The bag loves to fall over. Most annoyed when it's in the passenger seat of my car. The bag wants to roll of the seat and on to the floor at every stop.
Same. When people see this bag everyone loves it and asks about it, then I put it down and it falls over and their like “oh.....”. It’s like having an awesome kickass dog and everyone loves it and you put it down and it eats it’s own poop so I just stare and my feet and smdh. But I still love it and continue to carry it.
The zippers are my biggest issues, both with the original Messenger and the Sling. The Sling's main zipper broke, and it is thus useless now. It broke at the corner where it turns. For the Messenger, which I wasn't using much until recently, after my Sling broke. The back zipper is starting to bend when I am carrying the back, without anything in there, and seems like it will break very soon. The falling over is another problem. Will make a video someday.
IdaReggaeMon I was going to say the same thing. Autofocus should be ok, it's wise to use AF when self-shooting video anyway, but with the DOF this shallow, the two together just made my eyes hurt so much I could barely watch. Shame because it was a very nice review.
The tipping over problem has caught me a few times, and on two occasions camera and lenses have spilled out, falling down stairs or off tables. I have since learned not to trust the bag in this regard. Nevertheless, I have used this as my everyday carry and it works well.
Tips over easily, I agree with that. Would like to add that my 3 cats have not yet been able to claw it up. This despite multiple daily attempts. I have found that the adjustment slide on the shoulder strap slips constantly. That said I am happy with the bag and also use mine daily
Sony's garbage scratch-prone screens drive me mental. My 5d3 has been beaten to hell for 4 years and the screen is perfect. I put my Sony Rx100iv (a pocket camera) in and out of my empty pocket a few times and the screen looked like it got attacked by a tiger.
Great video, glad to see the bag is holding up well with constant use. Mine has had moderate use, mostly stuffing it full when travelling. have found that between where the top support bar (handle renforcement) ends and the edge of the bag it has tended to brunch/ pull up with use, makes getting the zip closed fully a bit tricky and also latched as the angle of the flap changes and doesn't line up.
Was gonna get this bag to replace my falling manfrotto messenger camera bag. Guess I’ll keep looking! Thanks for including that in the video. Extremely annoying
I have the exact same bag. I normally lug around my 15" MBP, Fuji X-Pro 2 with the 23mm f1.4, 56mm f1.2 and 10-24mm f4 on a daily basis to the office and to a photo shoot (though I normally offload the MBP since I don't need to edit the photos until I get back to the office). Overall, I love the bag, but my primary complaints are: It tips over way too easily and the shoulder strap creeps loose every time I walk around with the bag over my shoulder. Luckily, the second hook adjustment holds the strap at the approximate length I need it to be.
I also have the EDM 15", and I just bought the 20L Backpack and the Sling, and none of them can stand up if you put them on the floor. All of them just fall down to the front. So, I don't think it is a problem with your bag or your gear distribution in the bag. It is a fault in the design of the bags. The bottom of the bags is not square, but it is tilted to the front, so the bags can't stand up... As you say, it is annoying for such a expensive bags...
Bernardino Perez I have the everyday Backpack, I can get mine to stand up almost every time, maybe it's the layout of my gear and how much each thing weighs
I'm considering either this bag or the everyday one... I do very light photography and travel vlogging and I'm wondering if this bag has any space on the side for a water bottle? Thanks
There is a bit of confusion about warranty, I think. Warranty occurs when there is a default in the material or the built, it is not there to cover heavy use. Well that's the way it is in France, don't know about US, but ...
You’re right. However, from the comments I’ve been getting here, the zipper seems to be a very common issue. That leads me to believe it is indeed a design/manufacturing fault and Peak Design should honor it. I’m sure they would.
Great to see a 1 year in review.. Yes I am also 1 year in on my bag as well. Totally agree with the tipping over. One other problem is the shoulder strap locking mechanism slips after time. These a minor problems. Overall this product is fantastic. Just bought the 20L everyday backpack - Word of caution here is the 20L is a bit tight. Should have got the 30L.
Yes, mine falls over too. Every single day. I think it's to do with the quite narrow base in combination with the protruding front. Not sure how they could've fixed this without extending the base - which would potentially made it look ugly.
Sounds like you've used yours even more than I have mine but my experience is about the same, including the couple of small problems. Overall, I'm very happy with it. Been using the sling quite a bit lately and it's off to a very good start. For my needs, at least.
Make sure the strap isn't stuck under the bag. That seems to be the biggest factor for me when it tips over. Also how have the threads held up in the pen holder?
Excellent video. You're getting around the bag, and the stuff you're covering is relevant. I've found that when putting the bag down, folding the hatch behind it, would make it stable on flat ground so it doesn't tip over. It'll expose your equipment tho, so not recommendable in bad weather :-P I love my Everyday Messenger to death. I got the large variant, and it was perfect for my Nikon D750, 24-120mm, 50mm f/1.8, 85mm f/1.8 and 16-35mm f/4. It was a tight fit, but it worked, and having the D750 hanging with Capture outside the bag was no problem at all. Now I have a Fujifilm X-Pro2, and the bag is kinda too big. But that just mean I got room for more personal stuff. A bit of critique: You're looking away from the camera a bit too much, while you are explaining your point. It's a bit distracting along with the focus and DOF changing around. All in all a very nice video which got me following :-) (Oh.. And what brand is that hoodie?)
Thanks for the feedback, very much appreciated! It's definitely a learning process. :) The hoodie is by Five Ten, I love it so much that I have 2 of them. :D
No problem! You're bringing great content, and it's nice to see some follow up reviews on the Everyday Messenger. You should try out the Everyday Backpack, if you haven't already. It's just as good, if not better :-)!
Lifetime warranties generally only cover problems due to faulty materials or construction. Don't count on getting a replacement for normal wear and tear.
+jhmclellan From what I hear PD is great about their warranty. I’m also not the only one with this problem, so I would question if it’s normal wear and tear. Zipper is still working fine for now.
Did you forget to talk about the rear pocket or the laptop compartment? The orange pouch on the inside of that has velcro and mine already came undone. So far that has been my only complaint about the bag and it is annoying that it falls over all the time.
I have had mine for about 2 years of heavy use and over-stuffing, including a 12.9 iPad Pro and a MacBook Pro in that back pocket area.. After a few hundred days of use and traveling, and only recently did the back zipper break- just where he noted. So, i need to send it in sometime to get that fixed.
WOW!! The bag falls over! I have been going back and forth with them a little. The base of the bag needs to be slightly wider. That is kind of a big deal. The 13" bag dos the same thing.
looking for something extremely practical and safe (avoiding rolling all the gears out of the bag :( for my new gh5 . is this the right choice? or should I look for 15"? great video!
Excellent review! Thanks for taking the time to put it together. Have you purchased that screen protector yet? Put one on my Sony a7RII the day I got and still looks new after 18 months ; )
Nice video. I was thinking of going with crumpler for a messenger bag and add things like the haven and a notebook sleeve to carry camera and laptop. Peak designs are tempting me not to.
Damn! I was hoping the bag wouldn't hold up very good. But seeing this I don't find any reason anymore not to buy it. Well, "thank you" ;) Great video! Really thank you for showing us the bag after one year of heavy use! Und Gruß aus Deutschland nach New Hampshire! ;)
Hi, I enjoyed your video and it had many informative things. I just wanted to comment and please don't think I am being impolite. On something like a bag that has a "Lifetime Warranty" The warranty is on manufacturing faults and not wear and tear. If you use a bag every single day for carrying heavy things and after 4 years of daily use the bottom gets scuffed from putting it down onto gravel and rocks, or the zipper breaks because your 15in laptop makes it kink in the corner. It is not Peak Designs fault and you should not want them to give you a new bag for that reason. It is like returning the tire on your car after 100.000 miles because it has no tread left. People who demand new products when the old one is worn up spoil warranties for everyone else. Peak designs will either go broke or start giving short warranties if people abuse the warranty!
Hi Paul, thanks for your comment. I agree with you to an extent. However, this bag is "designed" to be used with a 15" MacBook, so if putting my MacBook in the bag causes the zipper to break, I absolutely believe their warranty should cover it, whether it's a manufacturing fault or a design fault. Of course a bag will get scuffed after daily use. :) I have no problems with scuffs, but a broken zipper from normal use is definitely not acceptable in my opinion. It also seems that others are seeing this problem with the zipper as well, so we will see how it goes!
Hi! Such an interesting and useful video! I'm thinking about getting the new version of the Everyday 13, so I wanted to know how's been your experience like with carrying tripods.
I use it to carry a tripod from time to time and it’s actually very convenient. However, you won’t want to carry a lot of weight for extended periods with a messenger bag, it gets tiring pretty quickly. The actual tripod carry mechanism, though, is fantastic.
Yeah, I have the 30 L Everyday Backpack. Couldn't be happier on all points, but the tipping.....Ugh, that is a pain. Small price to pay for the quality, but it's still a pain.
How is the balance? I have been contemplating a purchase for awhile.. I carry a Nikon D700 and a few lenses and my Mavic pro.. is it tiring on your shoulders and back?
I wouldn’t recommend it for carrying anything heavy over extended periods of time. It’s just one strap so it can get painful on your shoulders. If it’s for short periods it’s great, but don’t take it on a hike.
dude that hoody is sick where'd you get it :)) Nice video btw, thanks, I was looking to buy this bag, now I'm pleased to know it holds up well in time.
It is a great bag. I have been using one daily now one year for my work stuff. The origami stuff dividers work great as well if you want to use it as a photo bag. The pockets stretch! I could actually buy more stuff from these guys. They seem brilliant. Actually actually actually literally a good bag.
I've had good experiences with Lowepro bags in the past, though not this particular bag. I think the main factor here would be the ability to carry a laptop. The Everyday Messenger 15 can hold a 15" MacBook, and the Passport Sling definitely can't do that. Other than that, the price is certainly much more attractive.
Yeah, I think it can only carry a small laptop or a tablet from what I've seen of it. I also like it's expand-ability feature where you unzip the back so you can put more stuff in. Hmmm, thanks for your input, David.
Questions: Does this bag provide any way to attach a waist strap? I intend to use it in active settings where I'd want to limit swing while moving (think steep hikes/scrambles). I've dealt with bags that swing around under the torso and hang down pendulously while I'm leaned forward. Is this and issue with the bag? Would I even need a waist strap?
bag falls over, really man that's down to you, to make sure you close and protect your own gear man.....great review however and thanks for sharing !!!
that strap is a big issue, i just got it since 4 month carrying my A7III and 3 light to medium weight lenses and it is already badly damaged. Wouldn't spend that amount of money again for that quality. I have a Thule messenger that is still great after 6 years for the same price. Annoying.
Well, one of my only slight issues with the bag is that when you have an a4 book in it you can only put one divider right down one end. That setup works great though, but I would prefer if the bag had a slim pocket/divider in the main compartment for notebooks and papers to slide in - like the small pocket on the inside for phones. With that said, its pretty great though I'm sure there are other bags out there that would work better for school in terms of carrying notebooks and the like. But none of them would be nearly as versatile as this one. If you already have an everyday use bag of a similar carrying capacity that you like than I'd advise you to look more specifically at things targeted to college students. If you dont have another bag then this one is brilliantly versatile and will serve you well
Good job on this review, keep up the great work and my bag is in the same condition as yours as i also backed PD in all of their Kickstarter campaigns! :)
Hey Pedro, you can get it here: www.fiveten.com/us/crush-hoodie-dark-grey-red Sometimes they have additional discounts so you can get it for $15-20. I have 3 of them because I like it so much. :D
Great review one year on. Absolutely agree. My EDM bag has two issues though that I would like to know if anyone else encounters! My shoulder strap clasp mechanism slips constantly! I have too readjust it every few day! Annoying but not as annoying as the squeaky hinge! I use my bag for work and my colleagues can hear me walking down the corridor as it squeaks. This is irritating and I only have to have a mildly heavy load in the bag for it to start!! Anyone else had this issue? Contacted them about it but they ignored me! Might contact them again!
Is it washable? Can I put it inside a washing machine like I did with Think Tank 30 (and no problem)? See, my bags accumulate smell from my cats. I must wash them from time to time... :):)
I would definitely not put this in a washing machine. It has a wax coating that would come off and it probably wouldn’t be great for the fabric. I would use a light misting of a disinfectant spray.
BAG FALLING OVER You've stimulated my most annoying trait which is to immediately start to invent something. I'll let you take the initiative since you're more the right age, and are so annoyed. PLEASE FIGURE OUT AN OUTRIGGER SYSTEM that attaches by thru-hardware onto any such bag, and folds into the bottom - looks like a giant sneaker sole and secretly turns in the middle to a nice balanced outrigger. So you kill two annoying birds with one Kickstarter campaign. If this were 1950-something you could recycle tire treads. But this is the age of the 3D printer! Should be a fun fab.
You need to understand that a "lifetime Warranty" is in reference to the "lifetime" of the bag not your lifetime. So if the bag has an expected lifetime of 3 years, for example, the company has no obligation to honour any warranties after that.
David, I did say for example. It would be prudent of you to contact Peak Designs and ask what they believe the expected lifetime of the bag is according to their policy. And I agree that this bag should last longer.
Sony please don't listen him, do not use gorilla glass on the screen, it breaks into pieces. I also use few years 50$ Targus bag every day, and it is still in good condition, maybe it does not look so cool, but i do not care about warranty, I can just replace it when something break ... so far I did not have to.
+deviceundertest It might be more susceptible to shattering, but if you drop your camera you probably have more to worry about than a shattered screen. 😁
for many phones very often bending or knocking it is enough to break it. My cameras had unpleasant contact with ground, nothing happened so far, most serious drop was with camera in the pouch, who knows what would happen with tempered glass. I have no issues with Vikuiti protectors, if don't like scratches, I replace them.
All bags of this type fall over dude. Just put the bag down all the way... There, solved! Otherwise, good detailed review. I too have had the bag for about a year and still like it... Did a little video about something I've encountered as well... Nothing major.
The problem I see is that here it's particularly crucial that $2000+ lenses don't just spill out of the bag and go rolling down the hill. Obviously the slim design makes this a challenge, and there is no perfect camera bag, this one being included. Not a huge problem, but the biggest one I could find. :)
Agreed... That's what I meant about bags of this type, that being the "messenger" bag. They're mostly made for being slung over your shoulder and sort of "tossed" at a table/couch/bed etc... But I see your point since they're targeting this to photogs who may possess expensive gear...
If the camera had a glass screen then you would have a cracked screen instead of a scratched one. just think of all of the cracked phones out there... No thanks
I was considering PD backpack for quite some time, but I just can't accept this open shell construction, I would fear some of my gear might get scratched or a lens would fall out of it when I open the backpack. I went for the Errant backpack, also a Kickstarter project. Hope I made a good choice :D
How many times can you say,, "A C T U A L L Y" # STOPTHEMADDNESS Update. "REALLY" UPDATE #2.. YOU SAY YOU PULL OUT A LOT OF LENSES, HOW MANY FREAKING LENSES FIT IN THIS BAG. UPDATE#3 BODY'S, LENSES. BAGS, FLASHES, ARE ALL TOOLS OF THE TRADE AND SHOULD LOOK LIKE A USED TOOL. (shovel, hammer, saw,) People stop crying about daily work wear.
Please elaborate how it’s my fault. PD says it’s designed for a 15” MacBook, which is exactly what I put in it. As a side note, I’ve heard from others who are having this issue as well.
Same exact experience 8 months (excluding the banging with the clip). My zipper issue is in the exact same spot and I'm worried it's about to give. That being said, best bag I have ever owned.

NETVO TV
Untested but I would use a needle after heating it up with a lighter.
Did it wrong. Tip burnt
I can't stop looking at that hoodie......I want it
You're totally right! The bag loves to fall over. Most annoyed when it's in the passenger seat of my car. The bag wants to roll of the seat and on to the floor at every stop.
simply put the strap around the backrest of the car seat.
If the bag is heavy you would need to use the seatbelt anyway. 😉
yep true. it tipping over is quite annoying.
VERY annoying. Otherwise a brilliant bag.
The only problem for me
Same. When people see this bag everyone loves it and asks about it, then I put it down and it falls over and their like “oh.....”. Man, this was a a great video, thank you!
Btw, where did you get that hoodie? Very cool looking but also looks really comfortable :D
just bought 1y 30L backpack. this is really good to review how good the quality, especially the overall size and zipper.

Suggestion: lose the shallow depth of field and turn off the auto focus. Kinda hard to watch as is, but the review content is good and appreciated.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to tone it down a bit. :)
We (producers) pay extra for that. :)
Fast lenses are a dime a dozen these days, producers should focus on what makes sense at the time.
I was going to say the same thing.
IdaReggaeMon I was going to say the same thing. Autofocus should be ok, it's wise to use AF when self-shooting video anyway, but with the DOF this shallow, the two together just made my eyes hurt so much I could barely watch. Shame because it was a very nice review.

Great review, one question: is the laptop case safe enough you think?
im barely interested in the PD product but you did a very thorough, solid, and easy to follow review. Great work!

looking for something extremely practical and safe (avoiding rolling all the gears out of the bag :( for my new gh5 . is this the right choice? or should I look for 15"? great video!
Excellent review! Thanks for taking the time to put it together. Have you purchased that screen protector yet? Put one on my Sony a7RII the day I got and still looks new after 18 months ; )
I have had my bag for a year and like yours has held up great but I have had the tipping issue as well.
My Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home Bag, 12-13 years still growing strong. :)
I also have the same issue and I'm always looking for things to lean my bag up against so if won't tumble over.
Well, "thank you" ;)
Great video!
Well, it IS called the "Everyday Messenger." So if it isn;t designed to be used every day, they should call it something else :D
The name “The someday bag if weather is great” was just too long. 😉
The actual tripod carry mechanism, though, is fantastic.
thanks for your help! :)
Thanks for this video! Very helpful and informative.
Yeah, I have the 30 L Everyday Backpack. Couldn't be happier on all points, but the tipping.....Ugh, that is a pain. Small price to pay for the quality, but it's still a pain.
Schöner Sweater! Welcher Hersteller ist das?
My sling also fall down. Thanks for good video. Your video looks very great! Love it! ^^
If it’s for short periods it’s great, but don’t take it on a hike.
great video! glad to see it's held up so well :)
Thanks Scott! Let's hope it continues to hold up. :)
Great video. Any missed with water getting in the sides if the flap is up on the hight latch attaching points? It seems to want to budge out.
dude that hoody is sick where'd you get it :)) Nice video btw, thanks, I was looking to buy this bag, now I'm pleased to know it holds up well in time.
Thanks man! It’s called the “Crush Hoodie” by Five Ten, but sadly they don’t make it any more since Adidas bought them out. :(
@@DavidVogt btw is that the small 13 in bag? or the big 15 in one? it looks like it's the smaller version
Adrian Cobaschi it’s the 15 inch version, which is still pretty compact.
Nice video and your result is the same as mine. I have been very pleased with my peak design products especially the edm.
Thanks Chris. Looking forward to what they come up with next...
Do you feel like you still wearing a seat belt even after you leave your car because the material of the bag’s strap?
It is a great bag. I have been using one daily now one year for my work stuff.
The origami stuff dividers work great as well if you want to use it as a photo bag. The pockets stretch!
I could actually buy more stuff from these guys. They seem brilliant.
Actually actually actually literally a good bag.
That tipping is a deal breaker for me... bummer, such a solid and attractive bag to be ruined by lack of 90 degree angles
How did you clean the internal part of the bag? Mine got a bit dirty in the sides.
Hey David, what are your thoughts about the Lowepro Passport Sling III?
I've had good experiences with Lowepro bags in the past, though not this particular bag. I think the main factor here would be the ability to carry a laptop. The Everyday Messenger 15 can hold a 15" MacBook, and the Passport Sling definitely can't do that. Other than that, the price is certainly much more attractive.
Yeah, I think it can only carry a small laptop or a tablet from what I've seen of it. I also like it's expand-ability feature where you unzip the back so you can put more stuff in. Hmmm, thanks for your input, David.
Any alternatives you can think of?
What about security against street pickpocket? seems the magnetic clip is too easy to open by thieves?
Questions: Does this bag provide any way to attach a waist strap? I intend to use it in active settings where I'd want to limit swing while moving (think steep hikes/scrambles). I've dealt with bags that swing around under the torso and hang down pendulously while I'm leaned forward. Is this and issue with the bag? Would I even need a waist strap?
+David Carr it actually has a built-in waist strap that tucks away neatly behind the side pockets
I have THE SAME EXACT problem with the laptop pocket zipper.
my bag has zero problems with tipping what so ever!! guess i got a good piece :DD
Super helpful review. Just subbed! Do you have any experience with their EDBP? Cheers 🍻
Why no one do a review like this on the Sling 10L?
You have a sweet infectious smile, David.
Great Video!
Hey David, would you consider getting the Everyday Backpack? Love the channel by the way, you've got yourself a new subscriber!
bag falls over, really man that's down to you, to make sure you close and protect your own gear man.....great review however and thanks for sharing !!!
Still looks brand new
that strap is a big issue, i just got it since 4 month carrying my A7III and 3 light to medium weight lenses and it is already badly damaged. Wouldn't spend that amount of money again for that quality. I have a Thule messenger that is still great after 6 years for the same price. Annoying.
No lie, I think i like the sweater more.
Mine looks brand new after several years of daily use.
My zipper finally broke a week after I shot this!! Peak Design let me pick a replacement bag from their current lineup.
Can I use it for college and not for photografy stuff?
Absolutely, you can use it for pretty much anything. The dividers are super flexible so you can make it work for almost anything.
Thanks for your answer :)
Mine is mostly used for that, it works great for everything
If im looking for a very good college bag do I look for another bag?
If you dont have another bag then this one is brilliantly versatile and will serve you well
Great review man, I am not buying this bag anymore.
+videos Glad I could help!
Hi sir
What is the brand of your sweater?
+me me Five Ten
nice review
Good job on this review, keep up the great work and my bag is in the same condition as yours as i also backed PD in all of their Kickstarter campaigns! :)
Brand of your glasses?
Rolando Melendez following
Questions? Ask here in the comments and I'll get back to you.
David Vogt - is this the 13 or 15?
The 15" version. :)
where did you got this amazing hoodie? :O
Hey Pedro, you can get it here: www.fiveten.com/us/crush-hoodie-dark-grey-red
Sometimes they have additional discounts so you can get it for $15-20.
Lifetime warranty? End of it might be just around the corner.
Hallo Herr Vogt! Your test looks like Deutsche Gründlichkeit :))) Weiter so!
Can this bag act like lunch box?
Tipping over is bad. Thanks!
BAG FALLING OVER
You've stimulated my most annoying trait which is to immediately start to invent something.
I would expect a $250 bag to last much, much longer than 3 years.
David, I did say for example. It would be prudent of you to contact Peak Designs and ask what they believe the expected lifetime of the bag is according to their policy. And I agree that this bag should last longer.
Not a bad idea. Their warranty page is a bit vague, but from what I’ve heard they’re pretty good about warranty stuff.
It has a lifetime warranty
No thanks
yer so cute!
Handsome
If I were you I would rather expect to hear you were carrying too large laptop than anything about fixing it;) hope that doesn’t happen:)
15” retina MacBook Pro, exactly the same computer PD used to advertise the bag.
I see. It's odd it is misshapen like this after just a year, considering the price of this backpack.
I totally agree. I do see that PD has a version 2 for sale now with slight improvements - hopefully they made improvements in that regard. :)
I was considering PD backpack for quite some time, but I just can't accept this open shell construction, I would fear some of my gear might get scratched or a lens would fall out of it when I open the backpack. I went for the Errant backpack, also a Kickstarter project. Hope I made a good choice :D
How many times can you say,,
"A C T U A L L Y"
# STOPTHEMADDNESS
Update. "REALLY"
UPDATE #2.. YOU SAY YOU PULL OUT A LOT OF LENSES, HOW MANY FREAKING LENSES FIT IN THIS BAG.
UPDATE#3 BODY'S, LENSES. BAGS, FLASHES, ARE ALL TOOLS OF THE TRADE AND SHOULD LOOK LIKE A USED TOOL. (shovel, hammer, saw,)
People stop crying about daily work wear.
You should pay for the broken zipper if it happens. Your fault
Please elaborate how it’s my fault. PD says it’s designed for a 15” MacBook, which is exactly what I put in it. As a side note, I’ve heard from others who are having this issue as well.
Just put it flat down.
