  • Today’s muscle cars are something else, from Hellcat engines to Boss 9’s, and the ever-popular LS swap, there’s a lot of muscle under the hoods of custom and production vehicles. But these cars didn’t just show up with all that horsepower, no, there’s a long lineage of American muscle cars, and Stacey takes you on a tour of a new an old muscle. There’s something to be said about the drive of the American auto industry and how our country built the muscle car legacy.

I saw a new Vette in a Chevrolet showroom with a 7 speed manual transmission...super cool 😎. The more gears I got, the better I like it 👌

It would be cool if you built something to take advantage of e85 fuel like a modern engine with high compression + high boost or old school with really high compression.

Hey Stacey, it’d be really neat if you could build up an Oldsmobile Quad 4 sometime and dress it up to look like an Offenhauser race engine. Maybe run 4 carburetors on it etc, they do make parts to build them.

Why? It was a piece of junk. My parents had one. Went through 3 head gaskets before it was considered a lemon.

Misconception here, the term muscle car is fairly new, back in their day those cars were called super cars.

We built a Miata. It might've had an American V8 in it, but that counts, right?

@@OfficialStaceyDavid Of course, it counts. It's the American way, just like Carroll Shelby taught us!
