Watching Brennan slowly up his DM game since fantasy high is amazing
Brennan has been DMing since he was 10. I think part of it was learning 5e (the corn cuties was his first 5e combat) combined with scaling to player experience. I think Fantasy High was the first D&D game for some of the players. So once everyone got established as veteran TTRPG players the gloves come off.
@@Miglow as far as I know, before FH, everyone has played at least a little, but it was 3.5. The only person whose first time was playing (edit: playing D&D as a whole) on D20 was Ally. But I do agree that everyone came a long long way from FH. Lou in particular comes to mind. His guest spot in NADDPOD is one of my favorite arcs ever!

Everyone on this show just look like the sweetest people ever! But there is just something about Brennan. He has just the perfect comeback to anything said to him. He is so quick to everything and is just so witty and will always stay positive. Someone with that type of mindset is just the sweet and most caring person out there. He seems like he is the most sincere and caring friend to have around at all times!

ACoC made me so goddammed emotional I could have murdered Brennan
It's my favorite campaign ever and I think it evoked the best performances out of a lot of the cast. Namely Emily (I mean try NOT to make Emily blow the acting out of the water but you always gotta mention the queen), Lou, and Siobhan. And of course Brennan making some of the most interestingly complex NPCs.
ACoC was a piece of art that was so intense it made me feel something
I was threatened by my players that if I killed a certain npc, I would be held at knifepoint until I used my DM magic to bring her back. On the final session, they brought a pocketknife and waved it menacingly when I mentioned said npc. I've never felt more complimented and afraid in my life
Never realised the sheer amount of cursing out Brennan until Lou is just speaking in bleeps it's incredible

0:32, 3:52, The group being so upset that they actively consider attacking the DM to protect their characters is some of the funniest moments I've seen from this channel, made even more so with how they do it consistently, such as when Lou and Siobhan ask to cast Banishment and Web respectively at Murph when he makes bad roles that mess up the entire party.
I love it when DMs have different coloured dice.
So when they pick up more than they actually need, they make sure the players can see to freak them out.
But when they roll they only count the ones they really needed.
There were so many bleeps in that one encounter lmao.
