    Hi! I have my ASVAB test next Tuesday so I’m kind of nervous, but I been watching your videos and I feel like I’m going to do good. Thank you for the videos ❤️❤️

      I was super nervous when I took mine, but just as long as you are in a good mindset to do the best you can, you'll come out on top. Be sure to rest and eat well the day of and prior to your first day at MEPS. Stay safe and good luck!

    When its in a graph how do you know which point to use as ur x1 and x2 and so on ? Will it also be the same when you just have the ordered pairs by themselves?

    To understand what you did with the square root of 5: Lets say it was the square root of 6. The closest thing to 6 would be 2 squared which gives you 4. So, then you would do 6 - 4 to give you 2/4 which is 1/2. Would that mean the square root of 6 is 2 1/2 or 2.50 in decimal form?

    Hi there ! Thanks so much for the content. It’s really helping. Just a quick question about this, I got confused. Does it matter how I plug in the ordered pairs into the formula? If you mentioned it I must’ve missed it, but I kept trying and got it wrong so how do I know which numbers become x2 x1 etc. Hope my question made sense 😔

    • @GrammarHero
      @GrammarHero  4 года назад

      Ordered pairs are always (X, Y). So, if you have two ordered pairs, you would have: (X1, Y1) and (X2, Y2).

    So, in your playlist of videos covering basic math topics on the ASVAB, how do I know which ones are covering topics on the arithmetic reasoning? Is there a difference between the videos with a red and yellow thumbnail?

    • @GrammarHero
      @GrammarHero  4 года назад +3

      In general, videos with a:
      Red background = Mathematics knowledge; and
      Yellow background = Arithmetic Reasoning.
      That said, you should be aware that there is a significant amount of overlap between the two subtests. For instance, fractions will likely appear on both subtests.

    Grammar Hero can you make a video about how the square root and can you look into this trick for it.
    (the trick is ex. if you have 5 what you do is you look into the square root the can be divide (1x1 2x2 3x3 5x5 etc), and look for the closes one, but the result cant pass the number so for 5 it will be 2x2=4 the closes and it didnt pass it. what you do now is you add the number so 2x2 which is 4 and the result which is also 4 and make them go like this 5+4/4 and for some reason it give the answer 9/4 or 2 1/4)
    (another ex 53 with 7x7=49 so you will put it like this 53+49/14 which give 102/14 or 7.2857)
    someone taught me this but i dont know if this has a name, but it sure help for the square root problems.
    Have a good one and thank you so much for all the videos they help a lot :)
