- Live Worship at the Cilandak Town Square Mall, Jakarta, Indonesia.
Visiting from the Washington, DC, on Thu-Oct-20th, 2016, while going to dinner with family and friends, we stumbled upon a live worship band going for it in the middle of the mall. It was so surreal. I’ve never experience this at home in the USA.
Why is this such a big deal?
Indonesia is the largest Muslim Nation in the world. Jakarta is the capitol city with 10M+ People. They are lifting up the name of Jesus with boldness.
The atmosphere is overflowing with the love of God. You could feel it so strong. Tears are flowing hands are raised while people are walking, shopping, eating, and socializing. I was blessed beyond words.
This band is one of many, from JAKARTA PRAISE COMMUNITY CHURCH (JPCC), a 15,000 member church in Jakarta, Indonesia, They perform (worship) here every Thursday evening. Someone from the church approached us and shared, the mall owner and mayor of Jakarta are Christians.
Continue to Pray for Indonesia. God is moving in Supernatural ways in Indonesia.

Hi Carlos, I just saw this video of our praise & worship team playing at Cilandak Town Square Jakarta. Actually this team is from Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI), not from Jakarta Praise Community Church (JPCC). Sometimes we played along with musician friends from other churches as well. No matter what church we came from, we just thank God for every opportunities to worship Jesus out in public. We used to play twice a month on Thursday evening from the request of the mall's owner. But as I'm writing this I don't know whether the worship program is still on. We thank Jesus that you're blessed with our ministry!
Awesome! Thank you for your note and correction. This song and experience continues to bless me. My church supports some missionaries from our church who has served in Indonesia for 18 years.
