@@cory3171 it's good to remember those who have passed by thinking about the good times you had together. And wherever they are now, they're in a better place than earth. more than likely that explains the tone of the music
Childhood was one hell of a time wasn’t it? *all it was is to take one step outside and feel free, no stress about collage work or any job stress. You’re free of worries and everything. I mean after all you were only a kid but now you’re older and things are more complicated but just to stop and dwell on the past for awhile is a whole other feeling isn’t it*
This is beautiful...reminds me of when I would playback in the day on ps3 with all the snow and I'd be building a house with a home theatre...good times, I tell ya.
*You walk outside, but something feels different. You feel free. That weight on your shoulders ceases to exist and you begin to remember. You begin to remember the moments where you laughed, and where you enjoyed your life. But now you realize after a long time which seemed like weeks and years at the same time, quarantine is over. You have taken everyday life for granted, but now you have it back. Now go do some living.* Wait why do i feel like im gonna cringe at this when i see it again
This made me cry because one of my Minecraft friends Ashley died. My cousin died in a car crash playing Pokémon diamond my favorite game. And because I might die peacefully in my sleep and they died painfully and slowly.. As if 2020 couldn’t get any worse it had one final trump card for me,my granny passed on December 9th of 2020.
This song makes me so sad, and yet so happy. Timeless nights in my basement playing on the old-gen PS3 in 2013 with my brother, asking for just 10 more minutes from our mom, I didn't know what memories I was making until the time was lost. I miss it, I miss everything. My father used to stay up all night, and get me and my brother full diamond armour, so when we came home from school, he would surprise us with it. I love him, and my brother to the core.
I really used to dislike the "new" (added in 2013 omg) music, because it just didn't have the vibe of the old ones. But Taswell really grew on me, especially now that I don't really play the game anymore for some reason
This is my favorite song in Minecraft. I cry to this now because my boyfriend’s mom broke us up just because she’s saying lies about me. Now I play Minecraft alone without him. He loves foxes in the game and every time I see a fox, it reminds me of him and I start to cry. 😭🥺💔
I've been playing Minecraft for years. I remember being so excited for a new update and I would always do the tutorials and think that everything that was created and everything that was added to the game was so amazing. Every tutorial and every update was a new experience for me. Now I wonder what my life would be like without Minecraft. Probably not as fun and full of laughs every time me and my brother would play. All the amazing builds we did as kids and every mistake always made up for playing more. To adventure so far and go beyond the border. I think I speak for everyone that has come here today. *MINECRAFT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES*
Taswell is like a song to bring back the old. Like somethings calling out: "dont you remember?" And old knowlage is restored, and your like building yourself back up and starting over. I know its pretty specific
When beta came out, i rarely played the game anymore, but i would open minecraft and let the music play as the mobs would grunt and bark and the day/night cycles ran. When this song came on it was always magical. Definitely a special song.
This reminds me of in the fall, when I fell in love with someone. She was unlike anyone I had ever met before. It was uncanny how much we liked the same stuff, and it was kinda unbearable how beautiful she was. I guess she felt the same way, and we started dating. Only problem was that we lived hundreds of miles away from each other after she moved away. We only saw each other once. It was the greatest day of my life. The warmth of her as we sat together, the occasional kiss… it was too overwhelming to describe. But, just as any good relationship would, we got quite sappy. Then, there was a period where we weren’t allowed to talk for a bit. Over that time, she lost her feelings for me, but I remained strong. When we met again, it wasn’t the same. Something was different about her. Weeks went by before she finally told me what happened. The one thing that I had promised to myself was that at least we still loved each other, and now that was taken away, too. I wrote her name on everything, made ties from her to everything that I loved. And now, it only brings me heartbreak. Such fate to befall an aphrodisiac, I suppose. Maybe I’ll become happy again some day. Maybe.
I recently started playing minecraft again after a 10 year hiatus. I was playing around in creative and Taswell started playing. I have never felt so sad (in a good way) while listening to minecraft music before. This one really captures the nostalgia of minecraft. Those were the good times. I hope many kids are experiencing what we experienced back then. Althought it may not be the same for them now, I hope they look back in 10 years and say minecraft made their childhood.
RUclips randomly played this and i hadnt heard this in years, since my brother and i were young playing Minecraft on the 360. This literally brought me to tears bahahha

Ima miss my best friend so much. we’ve been best friend since pre-k he’s going to move away and move schools, it’s going to be a tough hell of a ride. This is the year we’ll be apart 💔. Throughout the years we’ve been together. It’s going to hurt. The last day of school is going to be tomorrow. This year, kindergarten-3rd grade was hella fun, 4th grade was when COVID hit. While 5th grade, i really regret not having fun with him. Having fake friends at the time was my biggest mistake. It’s going to suck not having him around. Idk if I’ll have a sleepover for the first time or not. I really disliked being around those fake friend assholes. Making fun of me behind my back. Punching me for no reason in 5th grade. They didn’t even help me on assignments, while me and my best friend would do the opposite. He’d help me out. Fight for me. We’d fight together. Make funny jokes. Laugh a lot. I’ll really miss you Danny. Ik if you read this, this’ll probably be cringe for you but it really hurts. Farewell my friend. May you make another student happy just as me. *Goodbye my friend, love ya brotha* ❤

thanks man for telling me that you do these as well, means a lot. This one's real calming... That bass and whatnot, and I haven't listened to this one in a while made me quite happy.
I've said this in the comments of another video, but I'll say it here anyway. This song really makes me want to go back to the simpler, better days, even before the aquatic update, when everything was normal and fun, and Minecraft, was just Minecraft. The current state of the game and community with the coming of 1.19.1 makes me miss those old days, and just makes me long to go back to those simple, happy times even more.

Minecraft holds a special place in my heart. This music reminds me of everything I went through before. Today, Minecraft is my job (really). But I'll never forget all the experiences I had with it when I was younger. During its golden age. Minecraft helped me rise out of misery, get back on my feet, and forget the torment that chased me every day. It was my way of expressing creativity in a world that didn't allow me to. I suffered every day. I still suffer today, but in a different way. And this game was my escape. A way to forget my pain. When I hear this music, I remember those memories and it makes me cry. Because even though my life back then wasn't necessarily better, and nostalgia pushes me to idealize those memories, I know deep down, in front of my computer, I was happy. I found light where there was only darkness. It was my world. Today, some say I've succeeded in life. In a way, yes, but deep inside I'm still lost, and the pains I fought in my past are still there. Some of them have even grown stronger. I'm not happier than I was before. I'm not sadder than I was either. The world has changed, and those unique moments where I managed to forget everything are now in a past I'll never relive. I hope to give those moments to my children. The discovery of a game, a world, the expression of oneself, in a universe where anything is possible. I want them to have their own world, just as I once had mine.

Taswell is criminally underrated!
Right?
This version.. it feels colder.
It’s almost heartwarming...
Not as cold as me with a fan next to me on mode 2)

The end part wakes me up a bit but yes I agree
Childhood was one hell of a time wasn’t it?
*all it was is to take one step outside and feel free, no stress about collage work or any job stress. You’re free of worries and everything. This is beautiful...reminds me of when I would playback in the day on ps3 with all the snow and I'd be building a house with a home theatre...good times, I tell ya.
Yes, exactly.
Yeah same but with the Xbox 360 and it somehow reminds of a cold snow feeling

This song makes me so sad, and yet so happy. Timeless nights in my basement playing on the old-gen PS3 in 2013 with my brother, asking for just 10 more minutes from our mom, I didn't know what memories I was making until the time was lost. I miss it, I miss everything. My father used to stay up all night, and get me and my brother full diamond armour, so when we came home from school, he would surprise us with it. I love him, and my brother to the core.
Everytime I hear this ost in the game it’s raining.

I really used to dislike the "new" (added in 2013 omg) music, because it just didn't have the vibe of the old ones. But Taswell really grew on me, especially now that I don't really play the game anymore for some reason
same i thought the new music was odd and then i fell in love with it

Same. I play bedrock a lot more than Java, so I don't hear this music very much, but this song has always held a special place in my heart.

This song makes me wanna flutter through the air, frolic through the field

Taswell is like a song to bring back the old. Like somethings calling out: "dont you remember?" And old knowlage is restored, and your like building yourself back up and starting over.
I know its pretty specific
It is INSANE to me that the mountains actually look like the one in the video now
Right?
Maybe.
I love this song 😭
Me too!
wtf
Wow, I didn't know I found this video 3 years ago
the reason why this is so nostalgic to me is cuz this was the music when i first found a village

6 Years of playing Minecraft, hearing this feels different :')
real
I recently started playing minecraft again after a 10 year hiatus. I was playing around in creative and Taswell started playing. I have never felt so sad (in a good way) while listening to minecraft music before. This one really captures the nostalgia of minecraft. Those were the good times. I hope many kids are experiencing what we experienced back then. Althought it may not be the same for them now, I hope they look back in 10 years and say minecraft made their childhood.
RUclips randomly played this and i hadnt heard this in years, since my brother and i were young playing Minecraft on the 360. This literally brought me to tears bahahha
Taswell is quite honestly a beautiful piece, and I sometimes have a hard time compartmentalising how this is so good,
the original was good but this makes me remember the times i first played minecraft. im glad i didnt delete my first world. nice job :>
Thank you :)
i’ve lost so many of my original first minecraft worlds

I've said this in the comments of another video, but I'll say it here anyway. This song really makes me want to go back to the simpler, better days, even before the aquatic update, when everything was normal and fun, and Minecraft, was just Minecraft. 7:11 Close your eyes and remember all the houses you build, your dogs in the game and 7:48 remember all the old and good days with your Best friend that is gone.
Man... I can feel your pain.
yoooo the second half of this song is so catchy and sorrow at the same time 🔥😢💯

La canción más infravalorada de Minecraft
This is so peaceful
Thank you!
Can you do peaceful 4 please
