It's hard to believe this thing has been around for 6 years now, I've watched this playthrough so many times I lost count. I have a habit of leaving youtube vids on as audio for when I sleep just to fill the silence, and I've gone through this playthrough probably hundreds of times just using it to relax. I feel like I can throw this on whenever and I still keep up with every new vid that comes out. This channel really feels like a lost style of gaming youtube, the kind I remember from my childhood where people sat down and played through entire games just hanging out with the viewer. It's nice to know a bit of that magic is still around. Thank you LaFave Bros for all the vids!

The way they incorporate memes from the oblivion community and create their own inside jokes and gags further on just reminds me of how much fun gaming used to be when you sat down and played together with your friend or sibling.

I'm about to watch this series again. I don't think I can put a number on how many times I've watched it anymore. this series has been/still is a super special part of my life, I remember vividly being 14 years old, just finished high school (for the summer) and having all the time in the world and no responsibilities, and getting a notification from the then Max Lafave channel, that there was a new let's play. I'm so glad I clicked onto episode 1 when I did. watching this series once every year is always the highlight of my year, and now is accompanied by nostalgia. I love oblivion, I love this series, and I love you guys for giving us all something super fun and funny to watch. from 2017 to 2023, 14 to 20. PS: I think it's pronounced Kai-tin if you guys don't know yet

It's 2024 now, and I've watched this LP now 7 or 8 times. I still follow everything you guys put out, but my favorite content on RUclips, my one favorite "comfort series" is your Oblivion LP. Your Skyrim LP is fun, but Skyrim is "unfortunately" a much more polished game. Oblivion has many outdated game design concepts and budget constraints shining through the gameplay that you guys rightly, and hilariously, comment on. I'm about the same age as you, and so for me too Oblivion has this nice nostalgic place in my heart. To watch you guys play, comment and imitate the voice acting just hits all the right feelings for me. Sometimes I wish this LP had been 1000 episodes long, but alas, Oblivion isn't that big. Thank you guys so much for this LP and hope you guys continue putting out content for much longer. PS: it's only now, on my 8th(?) watch of this LP that I realise that already in this episode, around the 06:30 mark, you guys bring up the pronounciation of Chaurus Chitin for the first time!

I can actually make non-ugly people with Oblivion's customization system. A good start is to put all of the sliders for every option in the middle, with the exceptions being any age setting and completely ignoring complexion. From there, modify the sliders in intervals of five, ten, and fifteen (Fine-tuning left to the player's discretion).
I was 18 when this dropped and I remember my excitement to see it then. Glad to say I still get the same excitement when you guys release content now. Keep up the fantastic work the both of you!
