My boyfriend and I saw him live in concert last Valentine's Day in San Diego, CA and that was the first time I ever heard this song. Before that, I lost my grandfather, who raised me since I was a child, to a freak tractor accident where a tree fell onto him and he was with the Lord before he hit the ground off his tractor. Toby talked about how he wrote this song after he lost his father, and I cried during the entire song because evey word hit me like a ton of bricks. On our way home, our truck's front tire blew out and we went spinning out off of the freeway. I saw headlights twice and we were stopped on a cliff, and when I opened my eyes all I could see were the night sky and the stars. We made our way out of the truck and I fell to my knees and cried out to the Lord like never before. I thought of my grandmother, imagining what she would have felt if she had lost me less than 8 months after my grandpa's passing. Hysterical snd in tears, I called her and told her how much I loved her. The Lord had his hands over us that night, and I felt his spirit along with the pain remembering my grandpa and how much it hurts when we lose someone we love the most. You pray for comfort and strength and go on another day. For me, this song is exactly what love feels like.

OK, so my daughter sent this to me (her 72-year-old momma) this morning with a note partially saying, "I know the song isn't your style but the words totally made me cry at 8 a.m. on this Saturday morning." Since we are currently experiencing some similar things to what Toby Mac has written and sings about in this song, she thought (and was right!) that this song would be a blessing to me. The words are right on, and on days I don't know how I can continue on I will remember this "not my style" recording, play it and find continued assurance that I am doing what Love Feels Like!

I grew up listening to these guys, Nu Thang was my first concert! When they split, I was heart broken. Now my son is a die hard Toby Fan. I bought this album for him, not even knowing that the guys had done this song. When the song came on, I cried. So bitter sweet. Only God knows why they split, but God is a God of healing and restoration. I pray that he brings them together again to bring light and love to a whole new generation of Jesus Freaks!!!
The fact they can craft out a song like this after 15 years apart is nothing short of amazing, this was the best Christian band of all time without question. So much talent, heart and passion...
This just goes to show that dc Talk is still as relevant today as they were 20 years ago. They have always been the voice for racial equality, and this generation needs this message more so than ever. End the intermission. Revive dc Talk. Give this generation a message with the power to make a change. This IS what love feels like.

The closer you get to the Lord the more you will see that HE has to be Your source in all things. He is the only ONE who can bring about changes in your life. You cannot change yourself on your own. You cannot change another person. Learn to say, "God, I cannot do anything without YOU, but You can do all things through me." God doesn't want you to be afraid of the hardships that we all face in life. He IS in complete control. He will work all things out for YOUR good....our good. All we need to do is love and trust Him.

This right here, these three guys are the sole reason why I got into Rock. Growing up in a ultra conservative home I wasn't allowed to listen to stuff they made back in the early 90's (but I still did 🤫). Best rebelling I ever did introduced me to all sorts of heavy music and I am all that much better for it. Now my kids GET to listen to DC Talk turned to 11! And they love it!
I know this won't happen but, would love to see these three dudes that helped shape my love for music back at it again full time.🤞🏻🙏
This Intense, edgy song spoke to my intense conflicted feelings caring for my Mom with fatal injuries that took her life after 3 mo struggle last August. Lyrics, music gave me strength to lovingly care for my Mom 3 months despite her constant difficult demands until she went to hospice facility.

+Braheem Hazeem I know I understand that - My point is if we ever want to hear AA play Kings & Queens, or ANY song off that album live again they'll need K-max with them. And Kevin launched his own solo album again recently too. All I'm saying is - with all the collaboration going on between all these fantastic artists - How cool would it be to see that line-up touring together? Gods Not Dead is a Newsboys song but again, they need K-max if it's gonna be played live on tour. And while they're at it with all the newer stuff they could drop some classic dctalk into the mix whenever they wanted to. This would be EPIC!!!! I have caught myself listening to this song all week, I guess you can say I like it. I hope DC Talk makes a comeback, I remember listening to these guys when I was young. Loved listening to DC Talk back then, and still love listening to them now. Praying for all believers to finish the race strong.

The dcTalk Jesus Freak concert was the first concert I went to - twenty years ago. My friend also went, and she was killed that same year. She died a believer.

this song has brought me back to when i was a kid. this is what i grew up on, hearing Michael Tait, then hearing Tobymac's voice. ive heard rumors that they could be going on tour again, just rumors but i would pay large money to see that if it happens. i love this song.

dc Talk is the group TobyMac used to be in. They were pretty much the one of the best Christian group. They split up around 16 years ago, but they're having a comeback next year

I'm a huge DC Talk fan, going back over 20 years, but this song is sub-par. It feels like a Tobymac song with Max and Tait just there for the ride. What a waste of a reunion. I still thank God for and appreciate their service of Gospel.
uvaldopgarcia Yeah, it seems really disjointed; TobyMac and Tait didn't really join up in this song, and all I heard from Kevin Max was a short verse and vocalizations near the end which is really disappointing. I sort of feel like they were trying to recycle the Jesus Freak style of Tait opening, TobyMac on rap and chorus with Tait, and then a short second verse with Kevin Max and quiet bridge leading up to a closing chorus. It was probably still fun for them, but I feel that it could have been "more" fun and less of TobyMac ft DC Talk and more like DC Talk - something like "Wanna Be Loved" from Supernatural.
