For 650 and it comes with the lights and tow hooks I honestly don’t see how you can beat this. I think quality wise as long as that winch plate holds, you’re in great shape. Paint flicking off is nothing a rattle can can’t fix. Thanks for this video.

I always put the lock washers on the nut side , keep it from spinning lose 👍 , looks good .
Yes 100% the lock washer goes on the nut side. I get that fixed they will wobble lose eventually.

Nice Install Vid Man I have 2010 blue Ram quad cab 33” tires on Helo 17” & 2” level & had a “fender bender” at 70mph I fell asleep woke up in median barely grazed a guard rail & it left volleyball sized imprint in bumper - so I pulled part out with tow strap Hooked to tree - God only knows I didn’t flip but I’m thinking of an upgrade to this style - cube lights winch accessibility so Thanks for the reallly in-depth “Real life” vid with cool a$$ fast-play Thx Dodge Bretheren

I spent over 2k on my bumper kit front and back. Lots of welding and TONS of grinding. This is a great price for a good looking bumper. Might not hold up as well knocking rocks but much better than stock.
i had this on my last truck (2014 ram 1500 with a 12k winch) and i absolutely LOVED it. the only thing i didnt like about it is it almost sat to high for my liking. i had a 3 inch puck in the front on 34s
I recently purchased the same bumper for the same truck and the video was very helpful...I am curious how you wired the halo lights of your headlights (also purchased very similar lights) can you splice to marker light wires safely?

I’m in a rear plate only state so I never had to install one. Wouldn’t be that difficult to zip one in to the bumper tho. Bumper’s still solid on the truck tho!
Does it work on a 2021 ram 1500 warlock? My trucks 2WD, but I want to have that extra security when I’m out on the road and install the winch

Usually the lockwasher goes before the nut, those hooks are just for show, don't try and pull anything with it the whole bumper will bend, nothing beats the oem hook as they're bolt to the frame..for the price I wouldn't aspect much...but i guess it will be extra weight now for your truck..and by the way from the sound of your truck seem you have an exaust leak Lol
Yeah I’ve got that typical hemi exhaust manifold leak. Need to replace the bolts at some point.

Agree with other comments: always put your lock washers on the nut side. Otherwise, it’s not doing anything.

It won't without alot of cut and paste, would be better off just buying one for a 1500. 2500/3500 have thicker frames and different mounts.
I’m thinking of getting the Hooke road one w/out the over rider hoop and hitch though. It looks pretty good in the video. Just curious what you think in person of how it fits around the grill and headlights?
It honestly aint that bad. It does sit a little low from the grille (maybe about an inch or less) but nothing crazy. Sits pretty flush with the headlights though.

Dude. You did an awesome job. I'm getting a bumper like this real soon. I have the Rebel 1500. I don't really like the grill other than the white RAM letters. My truck is white. I bought a 2016 so doing my exhaust first. Carven TR muffler with 5 inch black tips. I hate how the Rebel looks on the front. I gotta have that bumper or one similar to it. Thanks for the video bruh.
Have you found a way to put the front parking sensors back in place?
I haven’t gotten around to it yet but the plan is to drill the holes out in the bumper and pop them in place.

Is it heavier or lighter than stock bumper?
It’s about the same weight of the stock bumper with all the brackets, upper piece, fog lights and what not
How is this holding up? I’m strongly considering it but I’m concerned about quality given the made in china aspect of it. Have you attached/used a winch with it? Would you be comfortable being pulled by the D-Rings?
For the money, i would say it’s definitely worth it. It’s still holding up very solid! The winch plate is made out of thicker gauge steel compared to the rest of the bumper so I wouldn’t have a problem trusting it… there’s actually a few guys on RAM fb groups that run winches on these pretty heavily with no problems. As far as the D rings go, I wouldn’t trust to yank on em just yet, I’d try for more of a controlled pull with lighter recoveries to see for any awkward flexing before putting my full trust in them.
Eventually i would like to get this bumper off, grind down the seams where they meet and weld them completely together to give it more rigidity…but that’s just me.
Weight-wise it’s similar to the weight of the stock steel bumper + all the additional parts to the stock fascia. You’re getting way more ground clearance but you’re also sacrificing a bit of MPG’s now that you’ll be introducing drag to the underside of the vehicle.
A downside is that i can’t seem to find a good opening to reach into the bumper for the winch release for when I do install one…we’ll see.
Overall, it’s functional, it doesn’t stick out too far ahead like some other brands do. It’s aesthetically pleasing and I always get complimented on it. The amount of open spots for LED lighting and the ability to mount offroad flags to it if needed is a plus for me as well. And you can’t beat the price point.
@@MJAltairy Are you gonna mount a winch to yours eventually? Asking because my main complaint about my current aftermarket bumper is that it’s not winch capable and I can’t find a hidden winch mount that isn’t $500+. I’d be interested in buying it off of you if you don’t plan on using it.

How do you access the winch cable release?
You can't lol. Have to have a wired or wireless controller to tell the winch to spool out. No free spool unfortunately
Where did you get your headlights from?
Ebay, but I don’t recommend them. They flicker and dont always work

I ended up selling the truck before i got around to installing one. There’s a few people on the facebook groups who are putting this bumper to use though with a winch.

@@TouchofDepth it’s all good, I literally bought the same truck but a year newer and with more options haha! Love these things! And the 35’s only rubbed on the plastic liner at full lock a little after i did the leveling kit.
@@MJAltairy damn dude I ordered this bumper but the updated version and holy crap it is so much cheaper made than it used to be, it mounts with only 2 M10 bolts to the frame. Definitely not off road capable anymore
How do you access the top of the winch to put it in free wheel?
I’m pretty sure for winches that are hidden like this, you just gotta use the remote to have the winch feed it out. There’s some space from under the bumper to reach in there but it’s not the most convenient.

I wired the 2 outer ones to my factory fog light switch and the 2 center ones to a switch i had installed previously for a lightbar and you should be able to find tons of vids on how to install a light bar. Check the description sections of my vids, i try to include everything I purchased and used for my installs.

A warning to anyone buying this bumper now, they changed the design so it fits in one box for shipping, it is terrible quality now, only mounts with 2 small bolts on each side of the frame and has reall poor quality hardware now unlike the one in the video... Also it leaves a one inch gap betwen the side fenders. The quality is awful now, stay away

Whoever you got that off of eBay from had bought it and it wouldn't the right one so now they sold it and some of the parts are missing you can buy the exact same bumpers on Amazon $600 for the front bumper $499 for the back bumper or you can buy them together as a kit for $1200 I'm buying the kit both of them when I get income tax back

No problems with mine so far except for the fact that the light bar mount is 3/8ths off so I can't put a bolt in the light bar on one side because the metal is in the way. Sawzall here I come 🥲lol
