We used to do this in Algeria long time ago it is called tourbillon. There used to be also another technique, but it is more for medium to long hair it is called kardoun, we basically just enrolle the hair with a thin and a long piece of fabric the whole night, and in the morning the hair will be straight and very beautiful, I still do this up to now, because my hair is long , and the hair dryer or the flat iron it is hard for me.

I have straight hair ,a little curly at the tips...& I tried this it also worked for me
. If u want ur hair to b straight then pls don't braid it. Mix juice of 1/2 lemon & some coconut oil, blend it to a white creamy texture. Apply on to ur hair & comb ur hair. Leave it overnight & wash it next day..it really works wonders❤❤❤Try it & share ur comments with me👍👍👍

It should! I would just try it if you can get your hair to wrap around like I did I don’t see the reason why it can’t work. and make sure you wrap your hair after with a scarf or something so it doesn’t fall down

It shouldn’t and you can always do it before you go to sleep next day even if you didn’t wash your hair so you don’t sleep on it and it will protect the style or you can braid your hair if you don’t mind little bit of waves.

Hi Susan, It does wash out when you shower, just like if you straighten your hair with hot tools, but this is way better to give your hair break from the heat.

I don’t think it works as effective but you can try at least to spray your hair with a water bottle just to get it somewhat damp.
I tried on wet hair at least 1 hour when I saw my hair it looks like wet so what I do for it and I don't use dryer also so what I do

@@RoseBaby The molecules are way too big to penetrate your hair so it just ends up drying out your hair and if you use too much it will make your hair crack off. Oil does not moisturize hair oil locks in moisture so what you need to do is use a good leave in conditioner and then a dry hair oil to lock everything in
