Multiband Radio receiver with the option to record received signals on the SD card.
Ordered 2 of them on Amazon. Both of them have a defective LCD display: missing digits, segments or symbols. Returned both of them!
Performance on sw with external antenna is pretty good.
Old skool look to this Radio I like it wats performance like on shortwave .
Cute radio. I can only see missing a tuning knob 🎉
there is a small turning knob at the top of the radio
@@CanadianPrairiesShortwave Oh i missed it. thanks!
On the screen under db, it says normal att. What settings are these for?
RDS seems to be a lost art. This radio has it all except showing station names on FM
It's a shame this radio doesn't have SSB but these DSP chips have the same poor audio flaw no matter what version they use, the Tecsun PL-680 is one of the best sounding radios on SSB that you can still buy new today and this also means it works great using ECSS, for anyone who doesn't know, ECSS is when you use USB/LSB on a commercial SW station to remove or reduce noise from interfering sources and it works amazingly well, DSP radios can't do it because they sound rubbish on SSB.
An interesting radio but like most DSP portables out there today they're all bling and poor performing SSB and dreadful tuning mute really spoils the fun which is why I refuse to buy another and stick to my trusty Tecsun PL-680.
Pitty it doesn`t have SSB
@@CarlosFelipeRequiao that indeed is a big minus
