A dark piece of creepy music box music inspired by the feeling of being followed, while not seeing your stalker. The main theme in the music box is constantly imitated by the soft background piano one round later. Eventually, the music box gets caught up by the piano theme, and the viola theme kicks in.
The howling sounds in the background were made using the viola theme recording, but heavily processed to make it sound like an atmospheric 'wolf' kind of sound to add to the atmosphere of being hunted.
Feel free to use this piece of music as royalty free horror music in your own projects, just make sure to credit me for use of the track!

There is something about dark stories that appeals to us. Noises heard in a house once home to a murdered family. Tales of a mysterious creature spotted in the night. A mind haunted by voices coming from seemingly nowhere. These songs are the soundtrack to those type of stories. Inspired by the enigma's found in horrorfilms and thrillers.
