@@bookishroyalfox I know right, he was honestly so lovely! He started asking for reading suggestions for his son who has a higher than average reading age for his age! We managed to give him some suggestions but I did say I read romance books for adults so I can’t be of too much help! He was so genuinely curious and very sweet!🥹
I read these when they were coming out and I had no issues reading it the way you are, it was much better for me because I already had a connection to the characters. Don't listen to everyone else, you're always going to find people who judge the order but at the end of the day all us OG's read it in publication order years ago and never had a issue😂 it didn't hurt our reading enjoyment obviously otherwise it wouldn't be the beloved series it is to this day. 👌✨
Loved this video, my personal preference is to read assassin's blade first but i do get why you started with throne of glass and it is all down to personal preference. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series 💞💞💞💞💞
I’m a firm believer of AB first, I just found I got so much more attached to and understood the characters and storyline - BUT whatever gets you into the series!! 💕 I hope you love it

I picked up the assassins blade before throne of glass, hated the main character and dnf’d it after like 30 pages. 2 years later I read throne of glass and ADORED the whole series
I really don't know why but I read the assassins blade after heir of fire😂 i think i misread the order somewhere haha but i actually liked it like that!

I’ve read the throne of glass series twice. For new readers to the series I suggest throne of glass first as you did. As assassins blade doesn’t hit as hard without knowledge from the series. I read it after crown of midnight. On re read I would suggest reading assassins blade first. Either way, there is no right or wrong way unless you dive straight into book 4 or something 😂❤
The first time I read the Throne of Glass series i read assassins blade third and i throughly enjoyed reading it in that order!!! I LOVE the series and I currently only have three more books left!

I read AB fourth. I found this page that gave you 3 (I think?) different options for the reading order. The option I picked was the 'romantic reading order' or something like that. So in this order you've met or have heard of the characters or situations in AB but you don't know all the details OFC. So while it does take you back the placement of it being fourth and it is kind of a good place in the books to go back. I thought of it like our girl looking back on the moments that bought her to the beginning or the journey we started with her. IDK if that makes sense but I hope it helps and I really do hope you enjoy this series no matter how you read it! Can't wait for your next video!! Have a great day 💙
@@cidneewest2077 I found it very hard to pick an order because I had no pre conceptions or any knowledge of the series (as I wanted to avoid spoilers). Now I’ve started with TOG, I can decide what route I want to go in with TAB (third or fourth), so I’ll keep you posted! People want me to do a full throne of glass reading vlog and I might do if it’s what people want! 🥰
@@ellarose.readss I completely understand mostly with so many differing opinions. No matter how you read it I do hope you enjoy it all! The one thing I always suggest to people who read the series is doing the tandem read of EoS and ToD. They are happening at the exact same time just in different places. (different Continents, I believe) Also no one wants to read ToD after finishing EoS. Have a wonderful day! 💙
