By allowing the Made in Canada on ice jerseys to be sold again to the public, this would absolutely garner them some goodwill right out of the gate.

It's going to be interesting. Luckily for the players on ice jerseys SP will continue to make them . But for us jersey collectors who knows what we will get
@@jersey_jaguar yeah I want them to do good so we can all get what we want. They get money and loyalty from the public. We get quality product and peace of mind for the next decade. We’ll see though. Right this second I personally think they have a lot of work to do.

I was hoping for under armour but oh well it is what it is to be honest I have not had any problems with my Jerseys being delivered on time even though my Raptors Jersey was lost in the mail

And same here with fanatics customer service. Fast shipping and if they mess up your order, they're good about fixing their mistake.

Under Armour already backed out of deals with UCLA and MLB. I doubt the NHL would ever do business with them after that.
Love the Adidas MIC on ice Authentic’s - the retail authentic sucked it was like playing Russian Roulette to see if the jersey was going to fit or how big the neck line was going to be.
This is what happens when the fan base gets complicit & accepts what these companies sell us.
The fan base has to complain to the front offices & manufacturer demanding that the MIC are available at the retail level
Another way is to not buy any Fanatics merchandise & go support other reputable licensed companies that support hockey or the league (CCM,Bauer,Gongshow etc)
Also side note Fanatics makes the authentic MLB jerseys Nike Just Puts their Swoosh on them
I completely agree with everything man. And you are 100% correct about Nike and the MLB. From what I remember it was supposed to only be one year with that process but it's going on the 5th year of the same template and factories by fanatics.
Regarding the Mic's i strongly hope they do away with retail authentics. The Adidas Mic's are night and day difference.

I heard that they will bring back reverse retro. Just for next season and that is it. But it's just rumors so who knows

When someone sent me a message on Instagram Tuesday morning I thought it was a joke but now I know it was real this is what we didn't what the NHL to choose and go with Fanatics to me the NHL should stick with Adidas

Aesthetically, I don’t expect many changes. Unlike collegiate teams (who are often at the mercy of the outfitter), professional leagues have more much control over uniform design. I fully expect all NHL teams with a ‘traditional’ design to keep their look. Changes, if any, will be minimal.

NHL going back to Reebok or CMM would have been nice, and Under Armour's a real deal. But Nike? Nah.

Think they're going to do a good job because they've got an uphill battle, they know their brand hasn't got the rep Nike or UA have. So I think they'll spend the money to do it right, to show us that they can.
Excellent take. I think from a player perspective there's not much to worry about as any company will always quickly tackle any and every problem that can be seen on court, field , ice etc during live TV. For the retail perspective i guess time will tell.
I'm actually fine with fanatics because I do own fanatics jerseys in my opinion
