I have been a fan since the beginning but I've never had a chance to see these guys live until tomorrow. I was already so excited before I started listening to the shows you have shared here...now I'm bursting at the seams. They sound so great live...didn't know what I was missing! thanks so much for sharing...
I was there!
I wasn’t, I just needed someone to say that
One of the greatest bands of all time.
And one of the most underrated
@@Chris-bm2wl Fuck, I'm so guilty of this myself. I love these guys, love their albums. Never had a chance to see them live. But I'm seeing them tomorrow and was checking out some live stuff, which makes me realize how much better they are than I had ever considered. One good album can be a fluke. But they are 10 years on now and have a really great body of work to show for it...I have been listening to a lot of the songs that they are currently playing on tour but there are so many more amazing songs that they are no longer playing. Wish I had a chance to travel back in time.
Absolute joy listening to this band live.
If I'm alone and you're free now we know nothing's ever meant to be
But come along with me and by my secret side that no one sees
I built a throne from a burden of need
Earth boy gets harvested or else recedes so while you're cold
Numb my dream and I'll chew rocks and splinters
Sob and scream earth boy on your throne
You sit alone
they sound sooo good live!.. I wish I could experience it myself!?

DIIV in their prime
They're even better now
@@VinceMcLennon I agree with Vince, although haven't seen them in person live yet for the Deceiver (will be soon!) The songwriting is stronger, and although Devin was a character, I think it's been a solid move to have Colin now on the bass
@@patrickel94 They had the incredible songs in 2016, but when I saw them last month it was like a whole different level of musicianship on stage. You can tell that they are completely focused on being professional musicians at this point. It was powerful.
As great as the 1st two albums are Deceiver and a post Covid tour will be epic!
Earthboy is way to short, it's one of there best songs, i need more than 2min
I miss Colby Hewitt
Ben is a brilliant drummer
