Ingredients:
pork
lamb flaps
turkey tail
1/2 cup oyster sauce
1/4 cup dark soy sauce
1 tbsp kikkoman sauce
onions
garlic
ginger
1 tsp each
-Black pepper
-garlic powder
-garlic salt
-salt
(how t make the dough)
2 table butter [ melted ]
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 cup milk
2 tsp dry yeast
3 1/2 cup flour
( when the dough is sticky, cover for 1 hour )

You can substitute the steamer with a couple of balled up pieces of aluminum foil and a oven safe dish and I can keep going but it is easier to google a substitute steamer on you tube and find the directions hope this helps you.

Thank you for sharing your recipes! I do the same, but not many people do. I remember years ago our neighbor (old woman) would always make pumpkin bread for the ladies in church, and they were the best. Only problem is, she wouldn't share her recipe with others. She passed away a few years back and took her recipe with her to the grave. I learned from that experience that I will always share my recipes with everyone. I believe our gifts & talents are meant to be shared with the world!

gena cheek. so sorry for the late response 😔 but much appreciated the lovely comments 🙏 yes I used parchment paper or baking paper for the buns and a white cloth to cover the steamer and placed the buns on the cloth then cover the top of the steamer with another cloth before you placed the cover the purpose of the cloth is to absorb the evaporating water 😊 hope you like this recipe 😊♥️ alofa atu and God bless ♥️♥️

🤣I'm Hawaiian I dont see the difference just looks like something I'd stuff my face with 🤣 I never knew you guys ate these to . When Chinese brought manapua to Hawaii the Hawaiians called them mea'Ono pua'a or mauna pua'a but the Chinese called it manapua after cuz they tried saying it how the Hawaiians called it so now we call it manapua and I like eat some now 🤣I stay hungry

Since you used 7 cups of flour what is the measurements for the butter, sugar, milk and yeast?

INGREDIENTS-
7 cups of flour
4 tablespoon of butter (melted)
4 tablespoon of sugar
3 cups of whole milk
4 teaspoon of active yeast.

Tried your recipe n it came out perfect👍 However, the sauce was a bit salty for me, (maybe next time I will use the low sodium sauces) but other than that, the keke pua’a were delicious! Thank you🙃
Tried a tiktok one and it was too much water. So doing this one today and absolutely perfect recipe. Wasted 10 cups of flour on the tiktok one lol

Hi cooking with Rona, I love this vid I made this yesterday for my family they loved it, but I have a question do you leave the dough to sit out at room temperature or do you place in refrigerator? Does it matter? I left mines out at room temperature it turned out fine
