We put Alan's Single cam on the dyno and see what he can do. His D16Z6 Turbo build features Humble Spec Traum Pistons and made a nice 400HP conservatively before it ran out of clutch. He will come back with a new clutch and send it soon!

basic vitara build is a good cookie cutter build. keep the D cheap and if you want more then 500hp then switch to B.

@@gysljoel d series can hold 500hp on a stock sleeve. Css’d block you can make 700hp plus

I have a stock motor Del Sol Si, seeing this gives me hope as all I want while she's FWD is 250-300hp max , but reliably.
My buddy just hit 417hp on his single cam D on pump gas. That looks so clean love the car.

Weisco forged pistons, Maxpeeding rods, Y8 hand ported head, drilled,ported and shimmed oil pump, intake and exhaust manifold and much more!!!

So I'm trying to boost my D16. But I want a smaller turbo for clearance for my ac and also I'm only trying to get 200hp for reliability and also its my daily. What turbos do you recommend thats smaller?

What psi was it at I have a very similar build but with a s257sxe borg Warner that hopefully will be together by the end of the month I think I should ditch the 1000cc and go bigger I want to make over 500hp
If the cars on stock fuel lines 500 whp will be close to maxing out the lines on e85 no matter how big of injectors youl just run out of fuel pressure but with a 8an feed 6an return you will be able to run more fuel pressure and make 500 on 1000 cc I made 527 on 50% e maxing out my fuel pressure on 1000s now I’m shootings for 700 I’m running fic 2150 cc and 10an feed fuel is always something you wanna have more then you need it’s a lot easier on everything at 30% injector duty at 500whp on straight 91 then for say running 100% duty cycle and risk melting a piston

Why not spend the same amount of money and make more power? I really don’t understand the single cam fascination with y’all.
Because not everybody wants a B or K Series. This is a customers car and this was HIS choice of motor , we are just sharing with the World. Just because you don’t like the D-Series does not mean that everyone else shouldn’t.
