Love Marmite and during lockdown discovered their new (to me) peanut butter marmite OMG second favourite breakfast next to eggs benedict. Great your keeping safe and coping well on a 36ft FairPlay. Oh I also discovered The Rookie TV show starring Nathan Fillion, my breakfast show with my marmite.

Me and my brother own a share in a narrowboat, which is moored near Napton Junction, so I love watching other people on their boats, as if I could be anywhere in the world, it would be on my boat chilling, just as you guys are. I follow a number of canal boater's but love the open feel you have in yours and the bed going right across, have to say it is more like a camper van😉 we have a camper van but if I had a canal boat I'd definitely take the internal walls down🙂

Awesome boat! I've just been completely redoing a narrowboat myself, finally living aboard now. Ours is a bit unique as its got grey cladding and double glazed windows. I completely replaced the top of the boat so it's a bit different 😅 Noticed you're using your hotspot for Internet. I've been using a home 4G router from Three for £22 a month, unlimited gigabytes. I'm able to game online while my missus watches Netflix on the other TV with no issues 😂 If you're not on shore power the router is 12volts at 1 amps so still good for on the move

Hi ya. My husband and I have often thought about buying a narrowboat to live on while in the UK. My son lives near Leeds which is where we would be mooring (Woodlesford). We may be living on it for about 6 months a year. My son can check on the boat now and then but I'm concerned about leaving the boat unattended for the rest. Can you share your thoughts about this? Good question Mick, we actually rent our mooring annually so we always base ourselves in the same marina. In the summer when we eventually do get out on the boat, we'll just explore the towns by foot and jump back on board.

Very true! Not so much 'live' abroad, but we travel for the majority of the year and only wanted something small/cheap in the UK for when we visit. Just turns out this year we ended up on it a lot longer than expected! Fingers crossed we can get back out soon. 🙌🏼
