- All Endings of Hogwarts Legacy game captured on PS5 using elgato card and gaming PC with RTX 3090 GPU.
I have repeated the game multiple times to get all the endings. The choice at the end of the game allows getting the good or the
bad ending. To get the secret ending you have to get to level 34 which is basically 100 completion of the game (or almost). I have also included
the ending of Sebastian and what happens to him after finishing the game.
All raw footage used in this video including gameplay and cutscenes were recorded and edited by me.
Here are the time stamps:
0:00 Ending Intro
3:42 Bad Ending
12:27 Good Ending
23:08 Secret Ending
26:30 Sebastian Ending

Sebastian's story seems far more interesting than what happens with the main character.
Legit, I mean seems like the whole game was made from him. No wonder he got his own trailer
@@rabiyaashraf950 tbh it all looks boring, just another Ubisoft open world game with "secrets" and zero immersion.
Slytherins are always the most interesting.
Facts, he’s a good character
@@GemGames3 It’s what we do after all
Sebastian’s quest line was one of the best parts about this game. That being said, I felt as if the ending to the main story was less than satisfying.
I think the game really shines in terms of worldbuilding, detail, atmosphere game mechanics and landscape, sound visuals etc. That being said the characters, dialogs and story is average at best comparing it to other story games. Everything is super predictable, 1 dimensional and lacks creativity.
I am happy with what we got and enjoyed my experience but at the same it could have been so much more….
unfortunately the story started very well, with a good pace and a good development, but as you progress the feeling that it was written in a hurried and banal way becomes more and more evident. Too bad, because I would have gladly played it for another 60 hours if not more.
@@lorenzofurnari the excitement on my face really just vanished from my face when I realized the final boss is just Ranrok in dragon form... and we'd be fighting whole 3 phases of what's essentially a dragon spewing fire at us. I was expecting a wizard to wizard type of solution, where you'd actually be tested with your spells, parry, your magical capabilities in general. I wasn't thrilled to be dodging fire breath attacks and blowing up orbs for the whole fight. It was such a drag.
@@MKWander paradoxically the best fights were neither against Ranrok nor against Rookwood, but against Harlow and Sebastian's uncle😅
@@lorenzofurnari I agree. I wanted more wizard to wizard duels tbh. I know we were fighting a whole lot of poachers and ashwinders but think of the scene in Order of the phoenix for example with everyone coming together to fight their own opponents head on etc, where Sirius dies. That's the kind of scene I wanted to see here as well but we're just fighting goblins and spiders. The professors join in during the last fight which was cool but I wished they were more involved with the story other than just chiming in during the last 2 hours of the game.
1. That's not a secret ending, you get that by reaching lvl 34 and doing The House Cup quest. And 2. The Sebastian ending isn't an ending of the main quest, it's the last part of Sebastian's side quest.
this comment should be pinned
Also this bad ending isn't the REAL bad ending as those who chose the 3rd option will take in the power and eyes glow red too!
@@ameliedewittewhat third option?
@@shad3115 the option to tell fig you want to release the power.
@@andytheshark so does Anna disappear hating her brother regardless if you help him get the spells or not? Does Fig have to die no matter what & what are the truth good, bad & neutral endings so I have a better understanding for when I get there?
Instead of making Ranrok immune to the killing curse, they absolutely should have added a separate ending where he gets instakilled, but your character is expelled and sent to Azkaban.
Literally, I mean that or let us learn the curse after the main story I mean: no the unforgivable, unblockable instant killing curse, it’s to bad to be used *does 0 damage against boss without explanation*
I seriously forbid myself to use the unforgivable spells while Fig and the rest were there because I was scared it would have consequences.
@@Mystical_Ketchup trust me, no one bats an eye about you using the Unforgivables (except maybe the dark wizards and poachers, for some reason?)

I can't remember if Nat had any lines as I completely zoned out whenever she was around.
@@jessebensen3569 nat says “why would you use that spell”
i fell bad for Sebastian cause if you dont do the questline for him we never find out what happens to Anne but if you do she hates him Sebastian cant win it seems
I wish if you choose evil ending you can help his sister since you kept the ancient magic to learn how to use it properly. In my head canon that’s what my character does lmfao
@@statesminds that’s what I thought was going to happen too. Honestly very disappointed with the ending
Part of me feels bad for Sebastian but also doesn’t. He means well but throughout the story he’s never hesitated blame others and neglect accountability at the expense of others.
@@yourbarber6732 Blaming others is a coping mechanism though.
@@yourbarber6732 Completely agree with you!
I was slightly disappointed that you don't really gain anything from any of the endings. Would've been cool if by keeping the power for yourself you'd unlock something like a spell, perk or even an outfit.
That was a fucking horse shit of a game and i am the biggest wizarding world dick rider, i mean , the story line, not interesting, to much shit going on, to much no sense going on Just a splash of a bunch of shit, the finale looooool what the fuck was that? That was literally like an iPhone game the only thing that Is Crazy in Hogwarts Legacy it's matter of fact, Hogwarts, i played 60 hours Just for the end tò be like 10 minutes with nothing happening no plot twist no explanation of nothing man that was so retarded
same i really love the game but the ending kinda sucks, i thought by choosing the opion keep the power for yourself you can become the villain but nothing...
Same here kinda sad but still great all the way around
LOL what do you mean though? You can use ancient magic that's something. And how you use it is up to you. That said though, they gotta leave something for Hogwarts Legacy 2
I think the whole game was slighyly underwhelming
I finished Sebastian storylines first so I could use all the dark spells in the final missions. It was awesome.
can we have the unforgivable spells and have the good ending, if you know ?
@@m.loriane1194 The spells have no impact on the ending, you can use the unforgivable curses and still get the good one 👍
The spells don’t work for the end boss
I just did it because I’m literally in love with him
@@kajsjdjejej xD i understand he's my favorite secondary character
I had no idea Fig died being crushed by that rock until the speech later mourning him. It was just so unexpected for him to go out like that
Well only in one of the endings and frankly that ending was surprisingly lack-lustre so I'm glad I stuck with the good ending for my first run (without realising)
I think Sebastian's questline is the actual gameplay and the main quests are just something to do in between as Sebastian's is way more interesting xD
absolutely, when I got owl message I always gets disappointed when there is no Sebastian quest line, and whenever I have one I dropped everything else to do that first, at first I was keen on learning the first 2 spells, but in the end I simply just really enjoying the friendship between Maincharacter, Seb, Ominis and Anne and I cannot wait to kill uncle Sallow for being mean.
I was disappointed with the "Bad Ending" because the Keepers suggested you have 3 options. Take the power for yourself, destroy the repository or keep it sealed. I wanted to destroy it for good so I chose to open it, leading to "keeping the power for myself".
@Giveaway229 Hell yeah bro, Imma send you my IP, adress and bank details ASAP!
But destroying the repository is literally releasing the power on the world, you cannot destroy that power, only what contains it, that was clear during the game. Keep sealed, release it on the world or keep it to yourself
Bro same what the fuck
I had the first ending, but I had different voice options to choose from. I picked "I intend to open it", but instead of picking "This power should not be kept from the world." I had a third option saying "I want all the power for myself."
Same here.

@@shad3115 bruh no taste lol
There's literally no consequential difference for the story whether you choose to contain or release the power, however, if you choose to release the power, your wand will swirl with ancient magic in battle after the ending.
PS: also, that's not a secret ending... it's the normal epilogue everyone gets.
Proof that wand does that?
@@shadefulcrum167 play the fucking game💀💀💀
Mine always does that lol
Sebastian saying "Oh Anne. What have you done?" shows he really not only has no remorse for what he did, but he doesn't even recognize he was wrong. I thought he might have dropped his wand out of regret for killing his uncle, but after that line, I suspect he dropped it out of joyous shock. He was so thrilled he wouldn't have to fight anymore, he would, in his mind anyways, finally be able to save his sister. Even when the very person he is trying to save fights directly against him, he doesn't realize he is wrong. They did a fantastic job showing what the dark arts does to a person, and subsequently their thought process, but they didn't give us enough time to know Sebastian before he learned the dark arts. It would have made his obsession with curing his sister and the decent into madness it caused him much clearer than portrayed. Still I can't complain too much, they still got the story across.
The German synchro made it sound like the "What have you done?" was addressed to himself. So he only then realized what a horrible thing he just did. So I only interpreted it that way.
@@gwenhuginn That is very interesting indeed. I tried finding a video of the scene in German and I couldn't. I'd love to see what the character actually says. I'm nowhere near even conversational in German, but I do remember my conjugations, and it would be rather unfortunate for us English speakers if the gravity of that scene was better conveyed in other languages.
Edit: Honestly if what you say is true and he does indeed ask himself what he has done, albeit in the third person, that would show regret and possibly even remorse. That would make me feel a bit guilty about turning him in. Not entirely, he is still wrong after all, but knowing he will likely loose what little sanity he had left isolated from everyone in Azkaban because of us turning him in does make me feel a little bad for him. There's a lotta fucked up Witches and Wizzards in that world, but very few deserve dementor treatment in my opinion, and Sebastian isn't one of them.
@@sacred_g I personally think he is really remorseful. First I find it interesting, he never uses dark arts outside these instances in the missions. Perhaps its laziness of the developers but I think he really uses them only for last resorts like cruxio or imperio (I hope those names are also in english cuz I also played the game in german). And he only uses Avada Kedava when he got overwhelmed by his feelings, which is truly his weakness.
And another reason I believe he is remorseful is if you dont learn those spells in the mission and ask him to teach them to you he asks if you are really sure you wanna learn Avada Kedava, even after everything that happened. If he was truly power hungry I think he wouldnt have said that. But I personally would have prefered a middle ground ending for him like him being forbidden to use magic or so untill he gets his emotions in check.
If you go through the end of the questline and don't turn him in, he says Anne won't talk to him, but isn't going to turn him in, saying that the grief Sebastian feels is more than enough for his crimes. He then goes on to admit what he did was bad, and regrets it all. He is also oddly missing from the House Cup Ceremony, all you see is Ominous Gaunt.
@@Faxanadu_ I didn't see this in my game but I have seen this on youtube. To me it didn't feel genuine. He regrets losing the relationship with his sister more than losing his uncle. I dare say that if he had somehow been able to twist Anne into not shutting him out of her life, he might not even regret his actions. Besides I also think about what he said to me in the Undercroft. "I didn't *mean* to kill my uncle." Yet Sebastian himself is the one that tells us the unforgivable curses are different. You have to *mean* it for it to work. Yes it is possible to mean something now, and regret it later. However telling me in the Undercroft he didn't mean to kill is, whether Sebastian realizes it or not, actually factually incorrect. Even if he regrets it now, in that moment, he *meant* to kill his uncle. I did see a comment somewhere say "oh he didn't fully mean it, that is why his uncle didn't die immediately." Maybe there is some weight to that theory, I think it was just dramatic effect to coincide with Anne showing up.
Wow, that Sebastian Ending, that relic looks like a Sith Holocron.
In my head canon it is a sith holocron.
I knew i wasn't the only one that thought this

Sebastian hit his own uncle with Avada Kedavra shit caught me off guard
My favorite part is the part where you see different teachers showing their classes.
And also the part where prof. Weasly gave points. That ending felt like watching a harry potter movie and reminded me about the first harry potter movie for some reason.
The professor fig death looked emotional.
I'm not yet at that part, just finished that quest where Sebastian can teach you crucio.
Still need to do the map chamber quest.
I also haven't learned bombarda and that transformation spell for some reason. Just reached level 32 as I'm writing this.

@@tru3nz lol yeah the game has no differences in good and evil. That’s my main complaint about game
@@statesminds That’s stupid
while i love the game, i wish choices would matter more. I feel like the game is a little too straight, we should've been able to get different endings to sebastians story.
They probably didn’t want to do that because they have sequels in mind. Its going to be a great decision in the long run.
I 100% percent thought that if you give the bitch response all the time is has some effect but doesn't seem like it has.
11:06 with this power, we could be more powerful than voldemort
Voldemort is just very skilled with horcruxes
Bro dont say the name .
I mean you could be a demi god if you think about it
u mean more powerfull than potter, voldemort, dumbledore and grindelwald combined? I dont think any of those was half as powerfull at 15 years of age
depending on your dialog and advancement in the side quest, the choice you can make at the final battle is different..I dont entirely sure which side quest or dialog affect this
I liked the voice actor for most of the game but in the final battle he could’ve put more into those lines
The male MC actor was not good, the female one was better and sounded more natural.
Sebastian story was the most interesting, because you either decide to turn him in or talk with Ominis about it. He will dissappear after the final talk, you can find letter from Anne to him at their home in Feldcroft. Or if you decide to turn Sebastian in, he will be sent to Azkaban.
"I want all the power to myself".
Not sure how I ended up with the "third" option on the bad ending, but was definitely worth it 😎
I got that option to 😅 I still picked the world should know about it though ( didn’t wanna seem to evil 🤣) if you picked the 3rd option did you just inhale it like in this video or did something else happen?
It is a bit disappointing you cant use the power when you take it as you dont change after it you go on about your day as normal when you finish the main quest. I think you should of got some cool power from it.
@@giggity4670 I agree with you! 100%. We picked evil over hero path but it still plays us basically as hero cause no one acknowledges we even use the forbidden spells or anything. Also I agree with another person’s comment that Sebastians sister storyline is more interesting then the main storyline, since we picked the choice we did we should’ve been at least able to cure his sister and further into that storyline or something 😪😅
I'm sure you get it by siding with seb.
i feel bad for sebastian, in a way i don't think he was a bad person. he kinda shares a akins story in way, all he wants to do is save the person he cares for the most. but does it all in the wrong way
He did the right thing, his Uncle was a horrible person. I only wish I could have killed him and taken the heat instead, because i dont really give a shit what Anne and Ominis think of me
In the end Sebastian enjoys dark magic. He likes controlling the inferii. Anne’s rescue becomes more and more a defensive lie.
There’s only 2 endings good or bad. With the “secret ending” being an epilogue tie up. The the Sebastian ending is just the last main quest in seb questline
The ending intro was best felt like Professor Assembled! 😂 Also my favourite quest was headmaster one that was hilarious made me genuinely laugh
was a cool ending and truue and i talked to a few students as him lol.
@@rjc523 yeah I bullied that Weasley kid and sacred him 😂
Honestly the only difference between good and bad. Is you hold Professor Fig in your arms as he dies. Both endings has you seal away the magic. Plus that secret ending is just you completing the game.
When I got the bad ending, I got the real bad ending. My character didn't say he'll use the power for good. He said it's his power by right and he'll use it to rule the world or something like that. I literally can't find anything online about that ending.
Honestly what we do with non-forbidden spells to the enemies is so cruel that story couldn't make me think that spells like avada kedavra are not merciful. Honestly Crucio is the only real forbidden one for me. In wizarding world you have love potion that basically controls somebody else, yet imperio is the big bad. Because of that Sebastian's story is great but because of how horrible other spells seem, it's getting hard to believe that dark arts make him choose to kill his uncle amd not his trauma and personality
Hmmm I had a Third option to pick from.
(1)"You're right"
(2)"This Power should not be kept from the world"
and I had
(3)"I want the power for myself" did all side quests and Sebastian's quests before the main quest.

You underestimate the hardcore gamers. That is why I always roll my eyes when teasers for new games come out and developers give us an idea of how long the game’s story is.
Sometimes too though, a kid works for GameStop and gets his hands on a copy early.
What happens if you say I intend to keep it. Then say “you’re right” to Fig’s response?
It's basically a back track that let's you go back to the good ending
13:13 Any ending in which your character wears that hat instantaneously qualifies as a bad ending in my book.
I got a third opinion to choose from after saying I'd release it. Basically the same as the bad ending but my character said he'd use it because it's his power
Do you have to do Sebastian’s quest before the games ending or can it be left till afterwards?
Can be left to do afterwards
You can do it later but you'l miss out on avara kedavra. Its the most fun spell in the game tbh. You can one shot almost anything.
@@bsd1158 you wont miss out on it only if you picked the option for sebastion to be reported. if you choose not to report him he will be in the undercroft and be able to teach you it
Mh I'd say yes cause the scene in the great hall is a bit different if you betrayed Sebastian or not. Cause then either Ominis will talk to you or Sebastian with Sebastian learning the truth about Anne's curse. Or they might just leave that scene out if you didn't finish his questline. Which makes me wonder if he'll ever learn about Anne's curse then
How is the bad ending bad tho? From what I've seen, you did a lot of good when you chose to harness the power. Professor Fig also did not die.
Ikr 😒
I have seen one playthrough and he did die
He dies in both
Fig did die in the bad ending, he just died right away and doesn’t come to help you in that last bit. Fig dies no matter what
Yeah, fig dies in both, says so in dining hall cutscene
I had Solomon conjure a giant flame tornado right as I beat him and it kept going throughout the dramatic cutscene, it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't loud as hell too.
The ending was really disappointing. Literally, the only difference is that Fig dies next to us instead of "outside the screen". There is no change in what you choose, they could at least give us a new spell if we choose a bad end or new cloth skin, but there is nothing.
The ending doesn't make any sense anyway.
Why did you have to solve all these tasks?
All tasks were there to find the right person to let in.
At the end, however, 5 professors and Mr. Feg came in.
@@mastamindchaan387The repository under Hogwarts wasn’t a task which is why the professors were able to come.
@@shad3115
Yes, thats right, I know that. But the tasks were there so that only the "chosen one" would go into the repository.
If everyone comes in anyway... you could have opened the door right from the start and walked in with the professors.
What was the point of the tasks if not to find the right one for the repository?
@@mastamindchaan387 they literally say over and over that it would only open if they believed the MC was fit to enter.
Nothing about only the MC being able to go in.
@@pain2573
But if everyone comes in anyway, it doesn't make any sense.
Why does the MC have to be ready when anyone who is not ready is allowed to go in anyway?
I like your character , he is so handsome. Also did you made a gameplay video with him or just random videos with cool stuff showing the game ?
Black knows he is cocking up the speech but at least it became apparent he did actually feel bad about figs death as he starts to hold back his blubbing
I’ll be honest with you sabby the only reason I stuck around this long was to learn the killing curse
All the quests you did in the game had only one purpose: to let in only the chosen one.
At the end of the game, six professors went in.
The trials only allowed whoever could use ancient magic but the repository allows anyone. Even Isadora let students into the repository to take away their pain.
Well there were two repositories the main one under hogwarts and a small one under rookwood castle where ranrok got his power
I have yet again been bamboozled. The title says there's a secret ending, but when going to the supposed "secret ending" chapter on the video, it's literally just the post game cutscene, which is not secret and is part of the normal ending.
Would be cool if your decision to take the power at the end of this game effects whether your a good or bad guy in the next game!
Had my legendary mask on for the evil ending so I didn't even notice my eyes turn red 💀
Poor Sebastian… his uncle should have let him at least tried to cure her with dark magic.
Can't deny Sebastian Questline is way too good comparing with the MC questlines. nice to see that
i did the bad ending but still got the end scene where the professors are talking in the dining hall
You get the secret ending based off of different actions and indepentently from your Choice with the Power.
I took the power to intend on doing good hoping I could cure Sebastian’s sister
I really loved this game, just finished it 😁😁
Every cutscenes sounds like they took out 80% of the sound effects or something, they feels intensely empty sometimes
I legit enjoyed Sebastian's quest more than the main quests, I'm surprised that it wasn't set to change the course of the game but rather just gave us reasons to affect our choices. Natty and Poppy's side quests were also fun to go through and Poppy's side was 2nd best to Sebastian's.
There should have been more.. I agree. I wish if it's not DLC than perhaps a sequel. But I do feel like it's a good beginning for this title.
I liked this game way more than I thought I would. It has some genuinely great characters like natty and poppy which I don’t see anyone talking about because Sebastian was also in the spotlight. That said. I would expect that now that the gate is open and with the success there will be an inevitable sequel. I would prefer seeing a game in the same style but unrelated to this story. I think it’s largely wrapped up. Any loose threads can be tied down in expansions or left loose. It is a good self contained story in this universe. Now let us see something a bit different. Maybe a game set even further back in time. Or one set in modern times. Go to Japan, America, or Africa and visit those schools. My only holdup with this game is the same I had with the shadow games. How does it fit into the lore? I wouldn’t mind if it was a separate thing and they were allowed to do whatever they wanted. In games it’s hard to play as anyone but the strongest character ever because you are the player. Our character in hog leg is out here taking out hundreds of wizards and dozens at once yet there can obviously be no mention of him in normal lore because they are whatever you make of them. I do find it annoying when you defeat one or two ashwinders and your guy mumbles about how “no one will believe this” right after I just killed three trolls and a dozen other wizards.
Poppy is my favorite.
Ominous Gant was the best part about this game imo. Refreshing to see a descendant of Salazar who's in Slytherin even tho he's probably the nicest guy on school. Also loved seeing him walking around the school with his wand as a walking stick.
Natty and Poppy were my least favourite characters tbh. Just wanted to get through their stories, so i could get back to Sebastian, Anne and Gaunt. That whole event felt like the main story to me.
@@Raffalius I agree with the fact that Sebastian's story is deeply intertwined with the main story, honestly I don't agree with that and think it gives him more clout than his story actually merits. I'm not saying his story isn't good, it is. But I love the other two main students' stories as well. I particularly applaud the writers for making Natty more than just a black person for representation reasons. So many games fall into that pitfall and forget to give their characters actual character beyond their appearance. I never felt like I was being preached at with Natty, she was a great character, Poppy is my fav though, she's adorable and reminds me of like a really tiny but really fierce puppy.
@@bcfb21 I'm kind of thinking the opposite. Natty is WAY too nice. She's got no flaws really which make her insipid and kind of a bore.
But I'm thinking the developers did this because they didn't want to give a big flaw to a black woman that people could hate on. Which is a shame really, characters are more interesting when they are flawed
@@tekakiuluy3221 they are. But I’m just glad I’m not being preached at by her for her blackness. Natty has the “hero flaw” as I call it. She’s “just too good of a person” which is a lame flaw to give someone. Would’ve liked to see her get a bit darker. Maybe lash out at the criminals and show some real trauma over her father’s death. Nothing is perfect and I’m not saying natty is my favorite character ever. Only that I thought it was nice for her place of birth to not factor into her character much. I also wish we could’ve seen her do some magic without a wand since she said no one in uagadu uses a wand so she must be somewhat proficient with non-wand magic but the one time her wand gets taken from her she can’t even open a door which kinda sucked. My problem with Sebastian getting so much praise is that people are acting like he genuinely is the best character ever. His motivations are pretty one dimensional and you can see the plot twists coming from literal hours and hours away. Despite that I don’t think any of the main cast is horribly written. I think they could all be picked apart with legit problems but I never dreaded the idea of hanging out with any of them.
Bad ending best ending he got all the power and still did good.
I was so pissed
Are you 12 ?
What are you talking about!?!? He doesn't do any good.... By continuing Isadora's work he at best hurts many people and at worst becomes corrupted by the power gained by hurting others
It's implied the MC will eventually go dark, as Isidora did. That's why it's the bad ending, because you're just continuing along her footsteps
@@redcheck4624 there will be no eventually, you think like that because you thought it will be like that. But for me the MC will do good and do just fine.
So if you choose to open it you get the power but are you more op n continue on or does it just end
For those of you wondering why the Bad End doesn't seem bad at all, it's one of those typical moral things about "no one man should have all that power" (yes, I did just quote one of Kanye's songs). It's basically suggesting that, despite doing good, he would also eventually lose control of the power he wielded. That no man can control such power forever, that him having more power than basically all of Wizard kind is a bad thing.
It's pretty weak, I gotta admit, especially given the story ends with the game (I doubt they'll sequel this thing. If they do, it probably won't have this dude in it at all). So all of what I said can never be seen and is merely suggested, so ultimately fails to show a consequence to taking the power for yourself.
It's the horoscope of endings: "Your future will be evil because Repository is in orbit. Be careful to not to sit on your wand on Tuesdays and pronounce it Levio-sir to annoy those around you who say it's Levio-sah. You are the true lord of the dance no matter what those idiots at work say."
My theory is there will be a sequel but different story altogether possibly with grindewald and dumbledore then another one could be in the marauders era and then another one set after the Harry potter books, means they can build better storylines and use different Spells as well maybe even having a proper schooling system in place along with quiddich
They probably ran out of time. There's a ton of other things in the game as well that feel unfinished. The caves, the gear system, the lack of a curfew system, and no followers outside of specific missions.
@@tezz2698 Possibly. I mean, game studios are increasingly cruel to their staff when it comes to time limits. I mean, it happened with Blood 2, it happened with Prey 2 (sequel to the original, not the one with mimics, Bethesda killed a studio being dicks about time), so it's plausible.
That was the neutral ending, the real bad ending replies by saying “I want all the power for myself” and it’s way more intense dialogue
@@CheatActivated Ah, I see, so the one in the video is just mislabelled and the bad end is missing. Yeah, "I want the power for me" is a lot more evil, definitely less explaining needed for that.
I Hope there will be a dlc❤
Plot twist: Hogwarts Legacy isn't about your character, or any of the Ranrok stuff, or any of the Ancient magic stuff.
It's all about Sebastian.
If you do the Anne and Sebastian scene/quest before facing Ranrok Its Ominous who talks to you after Professor Weasley speech.
Professor Black was criminally underutilized in this game. In fact, I would've preferred if unexpectedly _he_ would've appeared to save us from that falling pillar, as means of validating him as a person whose portrait's would celebrate Voldemort's downfall. Professor Black's supposed to be unpleasant, not evil. The game is just a _little_ poorer for missing an opportunity to see him step up when it truly matters, as the rightful Head of Hogwarts that he in fact is, it just is a bit out of character for him to do nothing.
Moreover, the voice actor described him as a "help and a hindrance" to our progress? No, he wasn't, he was barely in the game. Have him show up unexpectedly in Hogsmeade to fend off Victor Rookwood, Theophilus Harlow, or both during a _later_ quest than the troll attack. A cutscene where a Killing Curse is cast, and before it can hit us, we're either magically yanked out of the way with a Locomotion Charm, or an object comes soaring through the air obstructing it's path. Black stands there, wand aloft and tells him in no uncertain terms that he'll step away from his student(s) if he knows what's good for him. Rookwood is taken a bit aback by seeing _Black_ of all people come to our rescue, which is followed by a brief cutscene duel where we see that the two of them are fairly evenly matched, but ends with the good headmaster getting the upper hand and lands a spell that blasts him into a wall.
A triumphant Professor Black asks if he is ready to surrender yet. Rookwood might pick himself up, a tad unsteadily, and bitterly demand to know why Black's interfering, remarking that that rumours had it that he didn't particularly care for his students. Black can snort in a contemptuous manner, and haughtily respond something along the lines of:
"I am the Headmaster of Hogwarts, Rookwood. I might not particularly _enjoy_ every part of that job, but surely, not even _you_ can be naive enough to expect me to simply stand idly by and _let_ you attack one of my students right in front of me? You could never land a spell on me in the duelling club when we were students, Victor, and you certainly won't be able to land one on this pupil whilst I am here. So do the smart thing and walk away while you still can. Go on - be off with you! Chop, chop!".
See? Now he's being a help. Then he could be a hindrance by seeing us in his office after the fact where he confronts us about the rumours of our "extracurricular activities" with Professor Fig. He could say that he had half a mind to revoking our Hogsmeade privileges so we'll be be forbidden from leaving the grounds under any circumstances, and would, if he found so much as a shred of evidence that said rumours were true. He could remove points, give us a detention with a snide reference to the special assignments the teachers gives us, where we must learn the Scouring Charm by Gladwin Moon and help clean the Trophy Room after Peeves spilled something on the various student accolades as part of our punishment. Maybe run some errands around the castle for other teachers, too, before we could continue to next main quest? See? Hindrance.
Or if he _did_ revoke our privileges, sneaking out of the castle through the secret passage to Hogsmeade because come curfew, Hogwarts would enter a complete lockdown to prevent us from leaving, so we would have to sneak out through the secret passage to Honeydukes to exit the castle, as every entrance in and out of the castle had been sealed by Black himself. We could meet Fig in Hogsmeade, who reveals that luckily for them, in addition to being the professor of Magical Theory, he is also Keeper of the Keys, so while the other teachers patrols _inside_ the castle, one of his duties is to patrol the grounds, so that's how he sneaked out. He doesn't want us to tell how we did it, but he does prudently remind us of the importance of being back in the castle before morning so Black won't know that we've been gone, before Side-Along Apparating us to the quest area.
See? Hindrance. Another, more subtle way he could involve himself absent heroics that came to me when I overheard an exchange I heard between two student NPCs went like this:
"One would've thought Aurors - or someone from the Ministry - would've have been here by now to protect us after that troll attack in Hogsmeade."
"Black would never allow it, he'd seem completely incompetent. Which he is! Ha, ha!".
Well, what with a different interaction from the teachers?
*Abraham Ronen:* I say, have you spoken to the Headmaster today? He never showed up for breakfast; and it's not like him to miss a meal.
*Matilda Weasley:* He was sleeping in this morning, and I can't say I blame him. I daresay that he has been more proactive last night than I've ever seen him.
*Abraham Ronen:* What do you mean?
*Matilda Weasley:* He received an owl from Sirona Ryan, the landlady at the Three Broomsticks. Apparently, right after the troll attack in Hogsmeade, Victor Rookwood and Theophilus Harlow came to the Three Broomsticks and wanted to talk to our new fifth year. Rookwood's taken an interest in them, for some reason, so Professor Black has been up all night increasing the security around the castle.
^Abraham Ronen:* That is troubling news indeed. But Hogwarts is safe enough? Why would he feel the need to reinforce the protections around the school? Even if Rookwood _had_ stood a chance of breaching the castle's defences to get to the student, surely, you are not suggesting that the Headmaster believes that he would be foolish enough to try?
*Matilda Weasley:* I highly doubt it, but he said it was a precaution. He even refused to let me help him when I offered to assist him, and insisted to handle it himself.
*Abraham Ronen:* A precaution? But - forgive me, Professor Weasley, but I was rather under the impression that the enchantments around that was already in place were _already_ enough to keep out Rookwood and his ilk?
*Matilda Weasley:* They certainly were, but while the Headmaster does not put much stock in rumours about mounting goblin rebellions, he's insisting on taking no chances where Dark wizards such as Victor Rookwood are concerned.
*Aesop Sharp:* Well, that is _something_ I suppose... Even if he only did it to be seen as doing something in case it came out that he was alerted to Rookwood targeting a student and he would look bad if he just kept twiddling his thumbs.
*Matilda Weasley:* _Aesop!_
*Aesop Sharp:* What? Do you disagree?
*Abraham Ronen:* Let's not quibble! Let's just finish our rounds and try to get a bit of shut-eye before morning comes knocking, shall we?
*Aesop Sharp:* Very well, Abraham.
See? Help. For the wrong reasons, but narratively speaking; help.
I would also have liked an acknowledgement of the fact that Black, while _unsuited_ to be the Headmaster of Hogwarts because he took the job for the wrong reasons, isn't at all _unqualified_ for the job, which are two different things. It'd be so easy, too: Sneak into the Faculty Tower during the Side Quest "Lunar Lament" and let's hear Matilda or some other teacher lament about how Professor Black _could_ have made for a great administrator if only he had been less involved. Something along the lines of:
*Bai Howin:* Did you speak to the Headmaster? He still hasn't answered my owl.
*Matilda Weasley:* Yes, yes, he said he was too busy now, but that he would be getting around to it soon.
*Bai Howin:* Another delay?
*Matilda Weasley:* I know, I know! Honestly, I shall never understand that man. We teachers spend _all year_ revising the curriculum, and all he has to do is to go over our notes. Once a year, he's scheduled to meet with the Board of Governors to review the syllabus for the next term before sending it in for approval by the Department of Magical Education, and he always waits until the last possible moment to do it! It's a shame, because while he's never been too fond of teaching, it's not as though he does not value learning in and of itself, you know. Some of his insights has done wonders for our lesson plans, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Just imagine the quality of the education offered at Hogwarts would have looked like if he took an actual interest in what we taught the students?
Have the Headmaster's office been more explorable. Note that there's a collection of alchemical manuscripts in the bookshelves, and have the MC note how impressive it is that Black's taken an academic interest in alchemy, as that's some of the most difficult magic known to wizardkind. Have some letters spread around his office where we're informed that he is established to be in correspondence with other notable members of academia for _his own sake_ - maybe even some of the same people Dumbledore corresponds with as a student, like Bathilda Bagshot and so on. Black's noted to be more preoccupied with the kudos of being the Headmaster of the greatest wizarding world, that he is very preoccupied with his status in the wizarding world; how about having us find copies of scholarly journals? Hsow funny wouldn't it be to find a stack of them; "Look at this! _The Practical Potioneer,_ _Transfiguration Today,_ _Challenges in Charming_ - Professor Black's been publishing papers in all of these! Wait - there are pages missing from some of these? Why would Professor Black rip apart his own journals?", and then we find the missing pages; papers written by other professors at the school in the drawer of his desk. Professor Black's pettily pulled them out so he will only see his own work when he reads them and hidden the evidence. :'D
And this was just off the top of my head. SO many missed opportunities.
Bro. You don't know what TLDR is or something? No one is reading all that shit
What is wrong with u?🤣
On Reddit this might get more traction than in YT comment section. The whole game is one big missed opportunity.
You need to write that as a whole new story on wattpad. I'll read them
@@voice_of_terra7228 I think he just copy pasted this from Reddit anyway
Just completed this game, thought the ending was shit. Sebastian story was more intriguing than the actual story imo.
That's truly awesome-the way you made your character look like Tom Holland.
Jk, this game is amazing, I absolutely love it!
I love how professor fig just got yeeted and the games immediately like “sell your gear” lmao
Something that annoyed me throughout the game is that no one had anything to call you buy other than, "That new fifth year." Most of the time they just avoid having to say anything when anyone's talking to you.
You barley interact with the professors, Fig is only on the chamber to tell you he'll wait for you on the next trial, and when you get to that said trail he goes back to the chamber. I was expecting a twist like Fig was the real villain, like the grandson of the girl and he was using imperious to control goblins and blame them. Besides Rookwood what was his role he appear in like threes scenes and then you kill him. And what's worst is that under Hogwarts there is this extremely powerful ancient magic and no one tried to get it before Harry's story, nor even Voldemort.
Man, this game was just released on the 10th of this month. How does anyone manage to complete the game fully in so little time? 😳
Deluxe edition buyers had early access. Ive already completed 100% of the collections, challenges and achievements
Oh, okay. I had no knowledge of the early access feature, depending on game purchases. From my standpoint, if a game just released, you would think in a few weeks or months, that is when you can see the full walkthrough of the game over on RUclips. Thanks for the message, as this helped out my curiosity, lol.
@@devinbutler6583 i will need at least 2 years just to finish main story
@@thindrobin91 I know the feeling lol
I even do almost all the side quests. Around 38 hours . If you wanna do everything it’s probably 50 but that’s not that long. And we got it on the 7th not the 10th
I lost it when Harry said "We made it"
I had different responses? Mine said “You’re right” or “I want the power for all mine”
So are we able to visit the repository after beating the game or is it closed off forever?
You can keep playing
@@BabyZoneGaming I know that, believe me I do. But that's not what I asked.

I got him expelled
@@CafinkproductionsWell, Hermione would certainly try and kill you for that.
Interesting. On my playthrough I was able to say '' I want the power for myself ''. And as far as the 'secret ending' thats... literally a main quest at the end of the game?
I have chosen to use the power and still had the ending with fig dying there saying wizardry is in my good hands, and that school scene.
Ok I’ve got the good ending, nice
You can still be evil and choose the good ending nothing happens after end game tbh
I forgot to turn the music back on and the secret ending was so awkward. Me, standing in the back with all those eyes on me and no one cheering but 6 people from my house. Make sure your music is turned on before the ending or it would be so weird
It is my headcannon that because I killed Ranrok Sebastians sister is free of the curse but she will not tell Sebastian because he killed their uncle.
Ranrok didn't curse her...Victor Rookwood did...
I thought it was funny that garlik didn't bother coming to help fight at the end

That's Ominis Gaunt, he's blind. The fact that he's rather sad is actually fully justified storyline-wise.

no choice does nothing

This type of magic must be very closely related to whatever the Dementors are.
