I was in the security line at JFK terminal 5 for an hour once, I think that they increased the amount of security lines since then. What a relief I was worried that after the pandemic the airport might not be running as efficiently as before. They are running better than in 2019, and much much better than when I was in the security line for an hour.
Oh wow, that's quite a bit-- glad to hear its eased up since then, the only airport I've had to wait that long is Indira Gandhi Airport in Delhi (more on that in an upcoming video, ha!). Never been to JFK pre-pandemic, but based on your account, seems like things are fairly efficient still.
Thanks for watching! :)
Nice video! Nice editing. New sub 🙋🏻♀️
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for watching and thanks for the sub! Got some new stuff in the works coming soon! :)
Really enjoyed your video! Can you do a review for LGA terminal B? I think you would absolutely love it there!
Glad you liked it! I would love to do that at some point! I’ve never flown out of LGA, would love to check it out next time I’m in NY!
Thanks for watching! :)
Durringnpushback you actually saw the rarest version of the jetblue specials series and I don't know how your luck is so strong.
Right on, yeah I was wondering why that JetBlue flight looked like a can of Fosters, ha!
Thanks for pointing it out, and also thanks for watching! :)
Thanks man!
Next What's your trip?
You got it! Hope you found it helpful!
Got a 6 more videos coming up -- Qatar, Etihad, Vistara, Air India, and Emirates (777 and A380) :)
Then a few other in the works hopefully after those 6
Thanks for watching! :)
For the record you were on one of their classic planes, not one of their newly redone ones. The classic ones, they've redone all the ones that are going to remain in service for the long term and will be retiring in the shorter term the classics that have not been refurbished
Interesting, that’s great info; also this means I can take another trip JetBlue to make an updated video about the refurbished cabins!
Thanks for watching! :)
@@nsuresh91 yeah, they are the A320 classics vs the A320 restyled. The Restyled are obvious as they have orange trimmed seats. The seat back TV is bigger on the restyled, but they also moved lavs and added two additional rows of seats, which are "slimline" so... don't sit in rows 26 or 27 of the A320 restyled.
@@jbean9657 Interesting, thanks for the heads up, curious to try this aircraft out at sometime!
Your last comments confused me. What "low-cost" strategies did Jetblue apply?
The main one that stuck out to me was charging for earphones/headsets - especially when an entertainment system is present onboard - most full service airlines don’t do that (delta being my standard for airlines in the US). AA/United etc don’t even offer headphones- but they don’t even have entertainment systems onboard many aircrafts, ha!
Outside of this I was honestly surprised that they left out snacks for passengers in the galley. Which was a big plus (Alaska didn’t do this on a similar 6 hour flight - but had two snack services compared to one on JetBlue).
Hope this helps, and hope you found the video helpful.
Thanks for watching :)
Where can I rest inside terminal 5 for overnight? Not a hotel
I didn’t see any longer seats there to stretch and take a nap, but you could camp out by any gate that’s not being used for some privacy! I don’t know if the kids play room is open overnight, but if it is, that could be a good place to sit/sleep in private.
Thanks for watching! :)
