Not gonna lie, I've made a whole lot of atbbq's recipes but this one was my all-time favorite and I wasn't expecting it. I've never been a huge fan of chicken but this recipe is so simple and so unbelievably good, it's my new all-time favorite. Y'all have to try it.
That looks fantastic! I'm going to have to try this this week! Love seeing chef Eric on the channel. We need to have that sit down about the ring and some beers! I'll have to plan a family vacation to whatever Carolina you're in.
As we speak I am putting the remaining veggies and slices of breast into containers for one more lunch. I saved the bones and gravy and I'm going to see if I can create a small amount of chicken stock for tonight's dinner. These are the fringe benefits. The main event was OUTSTANDING. My wife unfortunately is not a big meat lover and I even have to be careful with chicken to do it just right. She was over the moon about this dish. It had just the right amount of smokiness and it was comfort food to the max. Home run team! It was good for two main meals and a couple of lunches. Wish me luck on the stock...
Best looking roast chicken I've seen in ages. I definitely want to try this recipe. I love a good gravy and the vegetables would be perfectly flavored too. This tics all the right boxes. Sooo good!!👍🏼🍗
I just made this in a large turkey roasting pan and my own variation of chicken rub and added carrots, all on a pellet grill. He might be underselling how good this recipe is. Three whole chickens cut in half fit in there snug on top of the potatoes, onions and carrots for a big group. Pull it when the breasts hit 160 for carryover. Huge hit!
LOL... Eric says that the Classic III is one of his "favorites of the line". One of these days I'll tell you about my daughter, one of my favorite children. (Psst: Each of my children are "one of my favorites".)

Take the wing flappers and backbone out and make a chicken broth with them to use in the recipe. I also returned my potatoes to the grill to crisp up while the bird rested. 🤌

Chef Eric somewhat looks like Josh Burkman for some reason. He truly is a rockstar with the bbq experience
Is there a possible for ATB cook a bird that is not Chicken or Turkey? It's nothing against the two or ATB's cooking. Just a change up.
