14:00 one of Taz's lines of commentary that used to make my friends and I nearly piss ourselves laughing was.. "The Undah-Takah...was great last night!" Lol Also thanks for the shout-out my dude! I just tried to send you a $5 superchat but for some reason Google Pay wont let it go through. Not sure why.
I tried finding this line within the footage I captured but couldn't find it, I agree though its hilarious 😂 No biggie man, honestly never feel pressured to do anything like that, your one of my OG subscribers. Commenting, liking etc is more than enough mate 👍
Thanks mate. I'm thinking of going and doing another series after here comes the pain and starting fresh again with the wwe games later down the line with the first smackdown vs raw. Fire pro wrestling is a series I'm definitely interested in giving a bash
Used to play the demo a lot with my pal, raging about getting DQ'd for beating the ref up lol. Loved the 8 wrestlers on-screen at once, made Royal Rumbles more fun.
@@the16bitprick36 For the Smackdown series? Yeah I had them all, apart from the first game and svr09 for some reason. Only stopped roughly around 2k14 I think. Wasn't a fan of the direction the gameplay was going, also lack of a proper season mode just kills replayability for me lol. Looking forward to your sym review 👍
It looked great at the time and as a guy that was into customs wrestlers lota stuff to do hours spend experimenting but all was pointless with the terrible 1p stiry mode that lasted as long as a trip to the toilet (legit first time completing it thought there must b way to unlock more story)
Is Fred Durst the professional film director who has had the most appearances as a playable video game character? The only other guy I can think of in the running would be Jackie Chan.
@@the16bitprick36 Shut Your Mouth's season mode blows the rest of the Smackdown set games out of the water. It goes 2 years with many choices to do on the side along with the main stories. Plus it has the nWo, RVD, Reverend D-Von, DDP, and just a much funner experience.
@@t.v.rockwell4504 I'm having a blast going through the season mode for it at the moment, first time I've played it in 20 odd years now. Same goes for here comes the pain too, been that long I can't remember the story but I do remember it being fun. Both great games as far as I can remember
Compared to every other WWE game on the PlayStation 2 this Is considered "Bad" but Is It really? Apart from No Mercy Smackdown 2 for PS1 was an Incredible game and Just Bring It Is Just that but next gen, Smackdown 3! Also the very first appearance of the smackdown fist stage a month or two after It debut on TV
I wouldn't really say it was bad now, I wasn't a fan when I was younger but I can appreciate it for what it tried to do. The smackdown games would only get better after this one
I remember trading in my Dreamcast in for a PS2 just so i could get this game. I was so disappointed in this game its one of my worst gaming letdowns memory. The story mode was so short it was a joke.
Couldn't agree more mate, i remember still going back to the first Smackdown game for the story mode alone because the second one had those brutal battle metres to watch and the story in Just Bring It was hardy there.
This is another vid that I’m late to the party to as well, just like your NM review this one must have missed my sub box. I’m not the biggest fan of this game, it’s not all bad though. Pros: 1st in the franchise to include authentic entrances. SmackDown Fist Arena was an unlockable, they somehow managed to get the arena in the game although only debuting in Aug of that year (Although it didn’t have the updated nameplate graphic it still had the new logo for the apron & mat if you wanted to use the logo on the mat). Rhyno, Tajiri, & Raven’s 1st appearance in the franchise. The animated intro although kinda false advertising was pretty awesome, as well as the intros to RiW & SD! in Story Mode being fully done with the game’s graphics. Cons: The commentary in this game is absolutely HORRENDOUS idk who tf at Yukes/THQ thought that commentary was a good idea! Story Mode is a JOKE it’s just a few matches and it’s over…. The Invasion Angle was going on during this game’s development but the roster doesn’t really reflect that there’s no RVD or Booker T let alone a lot of the other faces that were involved, they wouldn’t be included until the next entry SYM. The game has significantly less wrestlers than SD2KYR (even with everything unlocked). All in all JBI just ended up being a mixed bag, it played too similarly to SD1&2 and it ended up just feeling like a worse version of SD2KYR with slightly better graphics, worse season mode, & less wrestlers.
Dude honestly yes the game was bad...but in a good way lol to me anyways I was able to always make a fun time with friends playing this also anyone ever noticed how advanced it was for the "crowd 😂" fighting to happen
I can certainly look back on it now and appreciate it for what it was at the time. It really was the blue print for future titles to come, just a shame it didn't deliver.
I bought a PS2 Multi-Tap specifically for this game. It was very rare for us to ever get a full 8 player game going but when we did it was magic and easily one of the most fun times I ever had playing a video game.

Another great video buddy. That menu voice also freaked me out as a kid, still does to be honest 😂 .
Thanks very much, yeah was a weird one, proper freaked me out as a kid!
Great video again. Look forward to seeing the rest of the ps2 games. FirePro or legend of wrestling would be cool to do also! Keep up the good work 🎉

wish THQ used Howard Finkel in more wwe games his voice was so iconic.
@@yahnansbaldhead6966 yeah, absolute legend. Happy to see Mattel releasing a new figure of him, cannot wait to get that one.
I’ve been loving these videos so much
Glad to hear your enjoying them mate, plenty more to come 👍

😂😂😂 Poor Earl! Definitely made it more chaotic that's for sure. You ever manage to play any of the follow ups?

I'm sure I watched a video on here a while back about how many games he has featured in, was a lot of I remember correctly
I can’t wait for the SYM review, I’ll be there my man!
Never got to play this game but I did play Shut Your Mouth a lot and then seen Just Bring It. I couldn't imagine people wanting to play this over SYM.
Exactly this, shut your mouth was a game changer when that came out. Currently playing that at the moment and it's still absolutely amazing!

I reckon SYM is superior to HCTP.

JBI isn’t “bad” it’s a mixed bag with cons that outweigh the pros.
It just ended up being a disappointment especially at the time.
