@@DChefonTwoWheels i just asked coz my husband used to ride. We live here on Guam. I used to go with him too when he was riding with his friends every friday night and sunday morning till afternoon and we both missed it. He was into kawasakis though.
@@DChefonTwoWheelsisten my friend i have a honda cbr 650r and i bought the quick shifter factory one but i install it and everything and it doesnt wanna upshift automatically by it self i heard that i have to rev the engineto 7000rpm and the system upshifts by it self but its not working dont know why
It's awesome that in hard acceleration, I don't need to close the throttle and engage the clutch to shift up. Just open the throttle and shift up is all it takes. Though this only works with upshifts. With the new 2024 cbr650r has a e-clutch so the rider can upshift or downshift without engaging the clutch.
Hi, look up Rev matching. Or shift by matching your RPMs to the desired gear; boost them before shifting up and lower them before shifting down. Throttle down to decelerate in unison with the clutch lever as you pull the lever in to disengage your clutch. Shift one gear at a time. Ride safe.
does it works for UP and DOWN? i have a CBR650R in Brazil 2021 but not sure if mine comes with this Blue Conector. I will have to open first to check before buy it
Hi João, it's more of a clunky feel when in low rev or low speed gear shifts. Other than that it feels smooth when used on high revs. Still lots of fun using the QS. Ride safe and Cheers !
@@DChefonTwoWheels Thanks for your answer, I don't know if it's possible to do it, I bought a used cb650r and only after that I learned that the quickshifter was installed, so is it possible to disconnect only the cable? Is it difficult?
Oh I see. There is nothing wrong for asking, mate. Just use the clutch as normal and shift gears up and down when the throttle is closed. That way you don't have to disconnect the QS.
I just had a cbr service and quickshifter assembly. After assembly, some fairings in the front began to resonate on 2.3 gears at 6k turns, where can I look for the reason? How do you think A cable that is loose and transmits vibrations?
Hey look great I’m order mine, and is that you have a restricted 35kw cbr650r? As I concern should i derestricted or not? I’m holding a full license didn’t know when buying it.
Hi , looks like it will work with the 2021 model. When you search for the quick shifter kit with the same manufacturer number it says 2019 - 2021 model. I hope this helps. Ride safe!
Hi, it's the "dummy" blue two pin connector it is only a cover. Take it off and connect the cable from the quick shifter/ gear change sensor harness. I hope this helps.
Wow! Aside from your passion in cooking, you ride a bike too! Nice!
Yes I love riding motorcycles too. Thank you so much!

How is it different to the standard shifter

Wait, you just need that part to use the fully functional quickshifter ? Thanks.
Yes with this unit it's just "plug and play" basically. Only upshifts only though.
@@DChefonTwoWheels Is their something that i can downshift clutchless as well?
@@essentials1016 as far as I know is that an auto blip can only be used with "ride by wire" throttle. Which the CBR650R doesn't have.
Where did you buy the rear seat cowl
AliExpress
How do you decelerate smoothly without auto blip?

Only upshifts. Yes good to check first mate 👍. Ride safe.
@@DChefonTwoWheels thanks a lot. Checked today and i have the blue conector. I also made a video to my youtube channel showing. Thanks again my friend

Hi there, So pretty much its just a plug in and ride? nothing needed to retune?
Yes it is plug and ride nothing else. Ride safe
@@DChefonTwoWheels Thanks mate! i'll be following your video this weekend i just got my quickshifter from webike =D
Did you feel shifter stiffer after QS install?
The gearshift seems stiffer without the clutch

@@DChefonTwoWheels do you use clutch at low speed ?? or you can't use the clutch after installing the quickshifter ?
you can still use the clutch even if you have the QS.
It’s possible to disable it?
Hi , there's no switch to disable the QS. Maybe just disconnect the cable? 🤔
@@DChefonTwoWheels Thanks for your answer, I don't know if it's possible to do it, I bought a used cb650r and only after that I learned that the quickshifter was installed, so is it possible to disconnect only the cable? Is it difficult?
To get to the pin clip, you just need to lift the tank and disconnect it . Just curious, why would you not want to use the QS?
@@DChefonTwoWheels I am a beginner and I would like to use the manual gearbox to get used to it. Am I wrong?
Oh I see. There is nothing wrong for asking, mate. Just use the clutch as normal and shift gears up and down when the throttle is closed. That way you don't have to disconnect the QS.
Is this also working on the Honda CBR650F ? The old version of this.
Hi! Sorry I don't know if it would work with the 650f. All I see on the net are the aftermarket ones.

Hi Tomasz, check all the bolts and clips if they are tight. If it's still under warranty take it to the shop and let them deal with it.
can you shift down as well without pulling in the clutch?
No , only up shifts.
Is the quikshifter running up and down ?
