As always, thanks for watching.
Hello again. The Yorkshire dales, were modelling excellence is guaranteed. Superb stuff 👍👍😊😊.
Thanks Chris 👍🏻
That was great - tightly cropped scenes, often framed with those lovely trees, make it easy to get immersed in the action - and the sound is so good too 👋Thanks.
Thanks Steve 👍🏻
Bring on the lazy hazy days of summer with nothing better to do than lay in the long grass watching the trains go by. You created the atmosphere once more Lewis.
Thanks David 👍🏻
Another 11 minutes of bliss! Thank you. And I cannot say why, but I just love blood and custard Mk1’s, perhaps it harks back to my childhood. Thank you again.
Thanks John - that’s my favourite coach livery as well.
Another fantastic video…. Those sounds…..👍👍👍
Thank you Richard 👍🏻
Your railway never goes on strike. Thank goodness. Excellent quality, as always.
Thanks James!
Lewis, always a pleasure to watch your videos. Cheers Greg 😊
Thanks Greg!
Absolutely stunning! Lovely big tank engine-:)
Thanks 😀
This a great video , a v2 with its 3 cylinder beat ,then a 2 cylinder tank both earning there keep on every day duties .The eye level shots are really good & add a bit of realism ,then to finish of a diesel completes the picture .Always a joy to watch no matter what is running .Thanks again
Back to the Yorkshire dales for some peace & some trainspotting. Been missing for a bit, playing catch up. Excellent as usual. Thanks Lewis.
Thanks Tom!
Awesome running session as usaul Lewis!!! Thanks for sharing! Cheers Onno.
Thanks Onno 👍🏻
You're an ace at making 30 seconds of driving last 5 min 🌷❤🌹
Haha true!
Love the sound of the engines at speed. Brilliant once more. Thank you.
Thanks Dave!
Realism extreme, thanks for sharing
Thank you 👍🏻
Very busy Mr Mouldy with these strikes.
Im the only railway still operating it seems!
Of all the model layout videos on RUclips, yours are by far the best. The detail is amazing, and the weathering is just right. The V2 taking off at the beginning was perfect, with the wheel slip as it started gathering speed. Sadly, a lot of model locos have problems with crawl speeds. Love your attention to the tiniest details. Thanks for the entertainment.
Hi, 👍👍👍 marvellous video full of eye catchers!! Thanks for sharing!
I looked it twice, because I don't want to miss any details;
Best regards from the middle of the Netherlands and stay healthy,
Cheers, 🚂
Thank you 😀
lovely trains....
Thanks! P
Took particular note of your trackwork this time around, Lewis. It.just looks "right" from every angle.
In an interesting twist, My wife and I have just returned from a delightful cross country US rail and bus tour with eleven of your countrymen and four other Americans. Excellent companions, all. Enjoyed every minute!
Thanks Steven - appreciate it. Sounds amazing, glad you had a good time!
Great video. Cheers, Bob
Thanks Bob 👍🏻
Hi Lewis smashing shots of the V2 train going across the viaduct. The sound affects add so much to your videos all great stuff .thank you Lewis.
Thanks Tony 👍🏻
As usual a fantastic video Lewis. Outstanding image to sound synchronisation ! Some very nice shots in the opening sequence. Perfectly done. Thanks for sharing & kind regards, Filip
Thanks Filip 👍🏻
Morning Lewis, that was lovely, as we've come to expect so smooth, so atmospheric, everything the sounds, and sights we could be there, I can almost smell it. It's a measure of the filming that we can't see any extras like edges of the base boards or passed the sky to see the walls or roof, this is part of what makes it so real. I was on my local Dart valley railway at kingwear watching the engine uncouple from the front and move around to the rear to pull the train back to Paignton and I thought of you, that sequence was perfect. They did almost as well as you!! Thank you Lewis, looking forward to the next story, Eddy xx
Ha thanks Eddy, glad you enjoyed it. I’ve had some great times leaning out the front window listening to 75014 slog it up the banks there.
Always a favourite good old "Braveheart " my 7yr old grandsons he says " bestest ever engine " Eddy xx
Immense, as usual! What a display of beauties… regards from 🇪🇸
Thank you!
Another Great video 📹 from you young man the v 2 sound great that Gresley three beet sound good thanks again for the video 📹
Thanks Cameron 👍🏻
Hello. Klasse video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Thanks....... Fim 🚂👮♂️✋
Thank you 😀
quality stuff Lewis , always good to watch ! 💙💛
Thank you 👍🏻
Nice mix of engines ! I've just run my own BR 4 V2, same as yours, last Saturday for a test run of brand new wagons. Nice to have put a 2-6-4T and a diesel for variety, that's a nice touch.
Thanks Olivier, glad you liked it!
Great video
Thanks 👍🏻
Very nice presentation.
V2 still a little 'sticky' I see. Looked generally fine, and nicely made to work a bit - powerful beasts they were anyway!
Al.
Thanks Al 👍🏻
nice very nice like real 🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍😍
Thank you!
The English Summer is rather lovely but the firemen on the YDR always preferred cool sunny winter days. They’d be happy to take two more behind a V2 any time of year. The record for a V2 on the YDR was fifteen (a troop train in 1944). They were coming for Operation Green Valley.
Thanks Stephen - I remember reading about them hauling 20+ coaches out of Kings Cross during the war as well.
@@MouldyRaspberry True!
The V2 at speed sounded good and reminded me of locos that I saw at the end of steam on BR. No idea what they were though. I enjoyed seeing the Type 2 diesel out again.
Thanks - glad you liked it. The sound for those clips was the K4 when it was still running - on the KWVR I think.
That view at 2.15 is absolutely stunning and incredibly realistic. And how in earth do you get the sound track so well in sync? Thanks so much for this weekly helping of inspiration
Fantastic !
Thanks 👍🏻
Excellent little running session do you more than one camera running at a time thankyou for the video
Thanks Mark. No just the one camera, I film these on my phone.
@@MouldyRaspberry excellent film on a phone mate thankyou
Once again I am astonished. All the details are so fine - and the sound you have managed to put in is pefect. Are you observing the speed limit at all times?
Thank you! Possibly not….
New sub! Liked 🙏🙏👍
Thanks 😀
As always love your videos and your layout! Any new loco releases your looking forward to?
Thank you. The Hornby 2MT, 9F and new black 5. The Accurascale class 37 as well!
@@MouldyRaspberry That 9F does look amazing read about it in the Hornby mag definitely one I want to save up for too! I am always amazed at your collection of locos and nice to see different ones running so often, just need more A3/4 action for my liking ;)
Just can't get head round how real your Yorkshire dales looks, something just stands out compared to other layouts. Also like how you mix the sounds, question... Do you match the scene with sounds or do the sounds drive your scene?
Thank you! I film the video first then match the sounds up after. I have enough clips that I usual have something that matches!
@@MouldyRaspberry just caught your interview on New junction in my feed.... Can't believe you made the dry stone walls from cat litter! How on earth did you think that up 🤔😅 looks great!
Is YDR all DCC... I noted you didn't do anything with the points either, when the kids are a bit older I no doubt will clear out my attic and try to emulate something like this.
It would be much better if you panned round with the camera. That way the video isn't cluttered with too many tightly cropped scenes. Time you ditched those. Steam engines can cause lineside fires in Summertime heat. You may have to bring in a few more stinky diesels, which don't give off sparks. Sparks from a steam engine's funnel can easily set the dry grasses alight. Steam engines and Summertime heat don't mix very well.😉
Thanks Kelly 👍🏻
Thanks for the video Lewis. I love a lot of the angles you shot from.
Question for you... when you are running the original layout, do you operate much or just like to watch the trains roll by?
Keep ‘me comin’
Cheers from Canada
Bob
Thanks Bob - I tend to just watch trains go by on the main layout, and operate the smaller layout.
👍👍👍👍😊
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How big is your layout?
The main layout is an 80 foot loop. The Misselthwaite section is an additional 16 foot scenic section.
