Morning Lewis, that was the most enjoyable relaxing well filmed session I've seen. One of the things I've grown to love is, we never see any parts of your rooms of baseboard so I get totally immersed in the story your putting across. The amount of care taken with the sound transports me to another age. In just one word beautiful. Thanks Lewis, Eddy xx
Very well done Lewis. The sights and sound of trains with a few birds singing. And two trains meeting. A passenger could travel down in the yellow train and return up in the red train.
Excellent video of tank locos earning there keep in a superb scenic setting .Drinking a cuppa makes it more enjoyable .Keep up the great work & more tank locos please .😊
Bonjour Lewis, Superb and most enjoyable video. Perfection in realism and sound synchronisation. It all blends beautifully together and the filming angles transport us into your wonderful composed scenes as if we where there. Very well done ! Thanks for sharing & all the best, Filip
Omg! This video should be titled “local train passes signal at danger”! What was you thinking Sir?! 🤣 yes I get a bit involved in your videos, love ‘em! 😁👍👊😎
Nice idea to have a special "tank engines and passenger trains" tonight. Especially with one of my favorite in this category, the 4MT standard tank. Makes me want to buy a fare to travel on your railway...
I really love your layout! You have done an amazing job on it. What scale is your railroad? Just to let you know, that my husband and I watch your videos from the USA. We live in Ohio. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, glad you guys like them! It’s OO gauge, which I think is the same gauge as HO, but the locomotives and carriages are a bit bigger for some reason.
Hi Lewis, even though I live in Australia, when I watch your videos I feel I'm right over there in the Yorkshire Dales, everything about your layout is so natural. Keep the videos coming mate. Cheers Greg
Really enjoyed the video as always Lewis! It’s great how you so seamlessly link the two layouts together in the video, a bit if planning involved and packing up of the two locos and train rakes. Always look forward to what you will come up with next for a video theme? Cheers Gary
Looks great! Can you possibly go back to naming the types of engines used like you did in some of your older videos? Makes life easier for us fans of British railways who are not ourselves Brits! Thanks!
You know what Lewis? I’ve been reading all the comments which I often do anyway I’ve come to the conclusion the only thing wrong with the picture you are portraying is the fact it never rains. Because as we all know it rains here in Yorkshire all the time except when it’s sunny but don’t try and make it rain. Other than that like the others have said it is just like being here for real thanks again for another video DAVID
Enjoyed the video Lewis, as always. Quick question for you.. What length and colours are you using for your static grass? Thanks and keep up the good work. Cheers from Canada Bob
I have a pair of BR maroon Suburban coaches. I had Dapol Hinton Manor hauling them, for her test run on my railway. What sort of steam engine goes best with Suburban Coaching Stock? Is it a Large Prairie Tank Engine, a GWR Mogul, a Manor, a 57xx PT or LMS Jimmy the Jinty? Which would you recommend?🤔
For something technically and historically plausible, the large prairie and the Mogul are a good match, the best choice is the 57xx. The Manor is a little bit overkill for just two coaches, and the Jinty is better suited for shunting and local freight duties. Anyway, that's just my idea, take what you want at last !

Thanks Eddy, always appreciate it. Glad you liked this one 😀
There's something lovely about seeing the tank engines running around with some country coaches. True branch line stuff. Love it
Thank you 😀
A good start to my day watching tank engines on the beautiful branch line through the Dales.
Glad you liked it 👍🏻
Great atmospheric session this time again.
Thanks Brian 👍🏻

Cracking video as always this layout has come a long way from the end to end it's was with the mill keep up the good work 🚂🚂🚂🚂
Thanks Ian 👍🏻
I always wonder what your full layout looks like, it would be so cool to see a layout video…
There are layout tour videos up on the channel 👍🏻
thank you so much!
Should have looked there first! 😂
You should try out a model train of lights. Basically, dress a train and it's coaches up in model rope lighting.
Cool idea 👍🏻
What can I say. Just perfect.
Thanks Tom 👍🏻

Easily one [two] of the most atmospheric layouts ever...
Thank you!
Brilliant video as ever.
Thanks David
Great video! I do love to see tank locos on a branch line. I was hoping to see a run round and a bit of bunker first running. Maybe next time..
Thank you. Yes maybe next time 😀
Excellent.
Thanks Peter 👍🏻
If this was a preserved line .
I would vist it weekly .
Me too!

Thanks David, appreciate it. I agree with you on that one 😀
It looks like the tracks at Buckdale are beginning to rust because no trains has been there for some time 🤔🧐
True!
Ok, can't wait to see the video should it come out. By the way, have you seen the train of lights near you (as this could inspire you) ?
Nice!
Thanks!
Enjoyed the video Lewis, as always.
Quick question for you..

Thanks and keep up the good work.

Thanks Bob. 2mm spring, 4mm summer, and 4mm straw I think. It’s the WWS brand.
Cool, thanks mate!
Cheers

You need a smoke machine, to 'take it to the next level' !!
Al.
My words exactly
That would be great!
They look like new station signs
you should try to put a go pro on it so you dont have to film,.And when its going threw the tunnels t be be cooler.Just an idea.
Good idea. I did try that once but the go pro wouldn’t fit into the tunnels 🤣
Not even on a flat deck? A cell phone might fit🤔
Nice film🎉 welcome to my videos too❤
Thanks 👍🏻
Nice video mate! The secret to YT success > *promosm* !!
Thank you 👍🏻
