I just bought this for my room that my sister and I share this week and I already love it after maybe a week of use! Helps great for my asthma and her snoring. Thanks so much for this video!
Just received my AquaOasis Mist Humidifier yesterday. Wondered if I should be seeing water in the reservoir, did a Google Search, and I'm so glad I found your video. I now know I should be seeing water after the tank empties. Bonus! I wasn't sure how much water to add. Also loved the tip for adding water. That information was not in the booklet . Thanks for showing us how to clean. Thank you!!!
yes there will be water in the reservoir when you go to refill it. Make sure you clean it every 2 weeks as the algae may start to build up. Watch my other video "do not get water into the area that sticks up the with motor lines"
Thanks, folks. That was helpful. My humidifier came with a small brush but no instructions on how to use it. Now I think I'll just use a sponge, as you did.
You can use vinegar to swish inside and descale, and let it sit 20 mins in bottom too. Then rinse until smell of vinegar gone. Repeat with a tank of water with a small amount (capful) of bleach to disinfect. Rinse until bleach smell gone. That is better to fully disinfect these things. Also better to use distilled. The mist from tap can contain minerals that’s bad to breathe in.
Love my humidifier!!! It's a Crane Drop!!! I was waking up with a slight headache. Not from drinking. 😂 Using my humidifier I wake up headache free. You need to elevate it at least 2 feet from the floor. So the vapors can circulate!!! And don't use tap water.
Hi ! I had this same AquaOasis Mist Humidifier that I purchased last year from amazon . It works fine in my master bedroom but one one troubleshooting is water leaking in the bottom while turning the water filled pump upside down and while operating . Although I cleane it weekly . So tell me what to do more .
The water i was trying to clean is in the reservoir where the water goes, that part you can't take apart. Someone said let vinegar sit there for a minute then rinse out.
I ran across something on amazon..Like a fish shaped tablet that you drop in the reservoir and it keeps the area you can't clean from getting the water stain
Did you by any chance clean it and ran water down to the resevoir with the 4 lines where the motor is.If so you got the motor wet. That part is not suppose to get wet. It's done if so..you need another one
Anyone ever tried taking off the white part at the bottom(where the water is stored)? I tried to get it off to clean it . When the water settles it leave a brownish stain I guess due to the water quality I'm getting but its looking nasty for me and I tried alot of things to get it clean .
Great Follow Up video,,thanks

You bet!
My unit came with a small brush that would get into the smallest grooves of the unit; much easier to use and clean than the sponge.

Can you put oil in the tank. Just by it and i need to be able to put oil in it
Thank you, just one thing what about the water left in the reservoir, how to clean.
Ready for long term storage and water droplets remain inside the blue tank. It’s been air drying for days! Any suggestions to remove droplets?

Hi ! Is your watered filter? :) just asking because I’ve been boiling my water and letting it cool.
yes, We do the same boil our water because we have hard water in our area.
I just checked my inside of the blue tank. The bottom is slimy :(
I can't get it cleaned.
Hey my guy, any chance you know why mine won't even turn on? No power whatsoever. I've tried different outlets I cleaned it.

We finally got to use ours last night but my husband said it started leaking. There aren't any tears. Is there a reason why?
What part is leaking ? at the cap or actual body area. make sure not to fill to the top,,there is a fill line that stops before you reach the top.

Vinegar is the best way to clean it..don't take that part off..it's not suppose to come off. You will permanently damage it and always leak
subbing, the manual wasnt exactly clear on hos to clean this thing
you can use a sponge,,like the one you wash dishes with,,just do not get water in the opening as stated in my follow up video,,watch that
But wait, do I use alcohol??? 🤣
I think you use alcohol 🤣
I enjoyed this video bc..well alcohol
Hydrogen peroxide or vinegar. Also put some hp in it when you run it. Kills germs!! In the air.
