- Want to know what really goes into an organization project? This video will give you some insight into what it takes to get organized. This is a follow up to my first laundry room organization video. All together, this project took about 4 hours to complete, but the result is so satisfying. I decided to try vinegar in the rinse of my washer. I never saw anyone do that, except you. I LOVE it! I never use commercial fabric softeners, but was so Impressed with vinegar! Thank you!
I’m so happy to hear that! The vinegar gets rid of minerals that stick to fabrics and it’s goo for your washer, too! 😊💕🌸
I quit using fabric softener and started using the white vinegar
, Since I saw Brandy’s video, Randie’s my, and I’m much happier with that.
I use unscented laundry and personal care products. Clean doesn’t have a scent. I sometimes use vinegar in the wash, but I find I don’t even need it. Maybe because I use the minimum amount of detergent. I read you only need anough to see a trace of bubbles. I just use a drizzle.
We have hard water here. Soft water cleans better than hard water. Vinegar helps soften the water.
@@27foxplace Have you considered water softening service? I noticed it looks like you have a whole-house water filter in the garage.
It’s nice to see you show how much you change things up in your filming. I think a lot of YTubers have it preplanned and it goes up in 1 try. This shows your thought process as you go and it’s really helpful to us. How did you learn to organize? Your process is so exact and methodical and everything needs to be spaced just so. Are you OCD? Lol. Love your style and yes labels facing same direction makes it all look uniform.🥰
Hi Annette! I learn from all the mistakes I've made over the years. 😂 If something doesn't work out, I have to figure out why, so I can make adjustments.

This video was so inspiring to watch! My laundry is in my garage as well (southern california home built in the 70s). I have cabinets built in that we just seem to shove things in without a lot of thought. The counter space I have is also junked up. You have really inspired me to pull everything out and organize it! I sure wish I could hire you to come help me! ;)

Love watching your channel. What laundry detergents do you use? I see several. And is that white vinegar you use as softener?
Hi Tanya! Thank you! 😊I use Kirkland brand liquid detergent, it’s unscented. I use white vinegar for softener and I add Downey scent beads. My husband is picky about heavy fragrance, so I can add just a little bit with the scent beads and were both happy 😆 I have some fabric softener that I don’t use much and some Woolite for delicates.

Hola Nezha! Here is the link to the video. ruclips.net/video/_w6oJi_Hjlw/видео.html. I vacuum out the lint trap a few times a week, but you could use a bottle brush to dislodge the build up as well. This is the most important thing. I hope this answers your question.

If no one has introduced you to Norwex products, I would love to be the one! You will be able to get rid of about 2/3 of what you’re trying to make room for for cleaning by just adding a few simple tools for cleaning. All you need is water. You don’t need fabric softener with your dryer balls. Replacing your supplies will take away the added body burden from chemicals/caustic chemicals that can pull on your estrogen hormones. Just a thought.

Mostly to spot clean floors and extra dirty places.

The cabinets look very nice. I don’t buy supplies in bulk. I don’t need it, and don’t want to store it in my home. Years ago my friend calculated that Target’s prices are proportional to Costco; Target just doesn’t make you buy a huge package. I have the item I’m using, and one backup for when it runs out. I bought some clear plastic bins. I keep the cleaners and polishes I rarely use in the laundry room cabinets. They look much more orderly in bins. I only have the few cleaners I use regularly up in my home now. I put the bottles of Advil, Tylenol, Aleve. eyeglass cleaning spray, and the small boxes of medications and homeopathic remedies in clear bins. My shelves look much better with all those small loose items contained. Thank you!
I always calculate the unit price. Somethings are cheaper in bulk something not so much. I agree. Bins are much more functional for small items. THS! 🥰

This video felt so stressful. Is it possible if there was less inventory that the need to keep reorganizing would be easier? There would be less cost in all those containers, too? Just a thought. I do really like your videos but this one wasn't your usual calm cleaning/organizing style. I don't mean to sound critical. You are one of my favorite influencers.
