Hey Guys! I am super excited to share this DIY Laundry Room Makeover on a Budget! This is the first episode of a mini series I will be sharing over the next couple of weeks! Hopefully you’ll be able to get tons of ideas and inspiration here today! 💜💜💜
It is gorgeous, worth the frustration? It must be very forgiving and able to come on and off....I’m only doing one wall behind bookshelves so you’ve actually given me hope that I won’t lose my temper. You’ve gotten me more motivated. 😊❤️😊
I love the color combinations of white, green leaves and brown - I think of nature and it brings calm. The bench and shelves is a great idea and another plus; lots of space. Well done you guys

The electric and plumbing in my laundry room sticks out above my washer and dryer too and I’ve been stressing myself out trying to figure out how I could cover it in a way that would still look good. You just saved me a ton of additional stress! I definitely will be trying your lip and shelf idea!
I am COMPLETELY obsessed with this. I can not wait to have a house someday so I can do these types of projects. I think I’d shed a few tears trying to install peel & stick wallpaper 😂 but it looks so worth it.

Where did you get your peel and stick paper at? What's the brand name ? **tip , take a razor blade and slice small slash on the bubble and spread smooth. I have wallpapered for years. * No judgement zone here, jus a friendly tip. Looks amazing. ❤

My laundry room is almost identical and am getting ready to re-do it as well. I am going to stencil the walls instead of wallpaper. I think it will save me some frustration! Thanks for the video.
I really enjoy your projects. I have watched several of them, I find your creativity to be extraordinary. I can’t believe you did a redo on a laundry closet! Who would ever have thought of that. Most of us would have just closed the door. It looks great and I bet it’s much more functional for you. Great project!
I highly recommend wearing throwaway rubber gloves when staining or painting. It saves your hands and keeps one from walking around with stained hands.
This turned out AMAZING! I swear, every time you post a DIY makeover like this I think "it can't get any better, every makeover turns out so good", yet it does! You did an amazing job!
I definitely agree that it gets better each time! I think it’s because I get more comfortable with doing DIYs and more confident in my design choices 🤗

It really looks lovely. On a more personal taste, I would have prefer a simple set of wicker baskets ( that could actually store and conceal stuff). Simply because it would give a very neutral arrangement to the shelves, and thus making the wallpaper pop. All the knickknacks plus the greenery bellow, I feel it steels to much attention from the beautiful wallpaper.
WALLPAPER. To wallpaper in corners. Pre-trim your strip of paper one inch wider than the wall space. The one inch will easily wrap into and around the corner. Align and install the remaining strip of paper.
Love what you have done. My area is so bad in a extra bathroom and the washer and drier are backwards which makes it difficult to switch clothes over..... do you like the grove soap? I like their container lol

If walls are bad start in the corners first then do the sides its easier because once it's on you wont tell as much. If you do it that way that happens with bad walls.👌🏼✌🏼🙏🏼
Question did you seal the stain? I am wondering if the stain will ruin the clothes when you’re folding. I am doing a laundry room makeover and wondering if I need to seal the stain.
I did not seal it and we have not had any issues so far. It doesn't transfer to clothes when I'm folding, but I've been considering sealing it just because it would be easier to clean.

Next time use regular wallpaper, not peel and stick...it’s much easier to install plus a a heavy texture will help hide rough walls

You can still makeover your apartment! The wallpaper I used is removable, so it doesn't damage the walls and is easily taken down!

I have been keeping the doors open and doing 1/2 loads of laundry just so I can admire the space more often 😂
