Not gonna lie, i thought you were gonna pull up with the demon slayer box set lol. I have never played or read any zelda but this makes me want to get the box set and start it myself. I recently got vol, 1 of Hell's paradise and vol, 6 of chainsaw man.
i recently picked up all of "to the abandoned sacred beasts" and "asadora!" been tryna pick up more vertical works to vary my collection by publisher, and i recently finished reading 20th century boys and am watching thru monster. i am HOOKED on urasawa's works
Mao Vol 2 just came out like a day before this video. I also got Vampire Hunter D omnibus of the light novels. Been digging them. I have Hell's Paradise 1, 4,5, and 6. I have 2 and 3 on back order, whoop whoop.
That haul in beginning with falling boxes is my dream!! But adult life married, kids, bills stops me :( haven't bought over a yr :( except bought the latest twilight princess for my husband as a surprise
I too was happy that there finally was a new volume of Wotakoi available! A series that I just discovered a couple of days ago is Ugly Princess by Natsumi Aida, the creator of Switch Girl. Unfortunately for English-speaking people, neither manga series was translated in English, but they are available in French, which is how I'm reading both series (French being my mother tongue). All of Aida's mangas are published in French by Delcourt, for anyone who may be interested (and practice their reading skills in French). Switch Girl uses a similar general plot as Himouto Umaru-Chan, with the "perfect girl" public persona gives way to a geeky persona in private, except that the main character doesn't adopt a childish personality in her geeky side. It is a shoujo series, but a good one, a more grounded slice-of-life than Umaru-Chan. Ugly Princess is about a chubby "ugly girl" teenager who daydreams her love life through a girls' dating sim game on the 3DS after a traumatizing experience with a pretty-boy bully. Fortunately, another pretty-boy in her class is a much sweeter boy and helps her accept herself. It's definitely a manga that I would have loved as a teen. And it's not too long with 7 volumes (the series is complete). In comparison, Switch Girl was a 25-volume series which somewhat dragged on later on.
I have been buying Murciélago the last 2 months! :D Now I saw that there would be a release of the collector's edition for Fairy Tail, and I'm already subscribed to it as well (just hoping the first 3 will get home soon)
Recent hauled Blue Period vol 1, My Love Mix-Up! vol 1, SpyxFamily vol 5, Seraph of the End vol 22, Mao vol 1, Fairy Tail vol 2, Attack on Titan: Harsh Mistress of the City vol 2, Attack on Titan vol 26 (duplicate), A Silent Voice vol 1 and Weathering with you vol 1.
Glad I’ve find your page!!! Such a great vibe and energy! PLUS I’ve been hauling daemon slayer and jujutsu Kaisen. But I’m hunting down Kaguya Sama Vol 2 and 3 , so hard haha
Asadora! is very charming and has the Urasawa bells and whistles so far. If you liked 20th Century Boys you're probably going to like Asadora! I am planning on collecting all his published works in Eng. Crossing my fingers on getting Happy! and Billy Bat licensed. Only one I'm struggling on right now is Monster. Mao is definitely a Takahashi work. I bought it because it's Takahashi. Inuyashiki is great, though I'm a fan of Oku just like I'm a fan of Urasawa and Takahashi. LOL I'm a little biased. But that was a great haul! Lol I like heavy too. I equate heavy = good paper quality.
Just picked up a small haul myself the other day. First 2 volumes of Quintessential Quintuplets, the new Shaman King omnibus, and first volume of Bofuri. Absolutely loved the animes so I can't wait to read the manga versions
I just bought 31 Volumes of Magi off of Rightstuf. Now I have to wait like 7.5 years (I hope not) for the remaining 6 volumes to restock. I also bought my usual suspects, Chainsaw Man, Black Clover, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc. Great haul bro.
I’ve been collecting the berserk deluxe editions like a madman recently! They are so good, also started buying the Vinland saga and black clover volumes!
Black clover surprised me on how good it was, I decided to pick up a few volumes just to try it out and that ended up making me decide to hunt down the entire series
I really want to haul the other half of the I am a hero manga and I need to order one piece box set nr. 3. After that I'll either with Vagabond, Monster or Vinland Saga. I also want to get Neon Genesis Evangelion but those are kinda hard to get I think.
I've been wanting to get into Jojo's but since in my country (the Netherlands) we only have American manga we haven't had many shipments recently with the American manga boom and all :(
As a Urasawa fan it's my duty to pick everything he has done, Asadora is great, very similar to 20th century boys. Wotakoi is such a favorite of mine too. Inuyashiki is very good, hope you like.
Asadora is a slow burn like all of Urasawa's works and I really like it so far. Urasawa, like a lot of my favourite authors, is a must buy whenever something new releases. I just picked up volumes 1-11 of The Girl from the Other Side, which I think will be my next binge. Hope you enjoy Dia Dark, I like the dark laughs I get from this series.
i just started and i have the first 6 volumes of blue exorcist, its hated on but i enjoy kazue kato’s background art and slow burner style. im so happy😅
Yay im so glad you picked up some of these series. I would probably recommend reading Dai Dark first because if you're anything like me, you'll forget what's happening in Wotakoi before the last release comes out ^^' also have you read Chainsaw Man? Any interest in picking them up because they are coming back in stock? Love your vids as always!
I’ve been wanting to get all of Urasawa’s works. Such a as 20th century boys, monster, pluto, and Asadora. All have to wait until 2022 for the 20th century boys reprints
Amazing box set! I’ve been wanting to play Zelda, and your beautiful box set makes me want to play it more! I love Pokémon Adventures, I would totally read more manga based on video games.
Blade of the Immortal omnibus (missing 4, 6 and 8) waiting for Black Friday sales for a hopeful price drop! Yotsuba&! I currently have volume 1 and 15 (weird gap, I know) YuYu Hakusho (only volume 11 and 13 atm.) Hoping for a reprint someday! Not in any rush to collect it, I just hope to have it all some day. Battle Angel Alita paperback re-releases as they come out. It sounds like a lot, but I'm only actively collecting BOTI and Battle Angel, the rest I grab when I see them for a good price.
20th century boys is probably my favorite manga of all time, so I was super excited to check out Asadora. It’s really interesting so far! Always impressed by Urasawa’s ability to endear me to his characters.
Hold on you have blade of the immortal but not vagabond? Highly recommend, mangaka is takehiko inoue the creator of slam dunk. The artwork and story is absolutely beautiful and philosophical.
Wotakoi is over. The next volume is the last and it will be half the size probably because it ended with volume 11 in Japan. The volumes in America are 2-in-1's.
New follower of this channel. I started reading Inio Asanos Dead dead demon dedede destruction, and have now read everything that has come out in english on paperback. If you like Urasawa you probably would like Asano and his ongoing series Dead dead demon dedede destruction.
Looking forward for the final volume 6 of Wotakoi. It's up for pre-order now and it's scheduled to come out in May 2022. For a few months now I really got back in to reading One Piece on the SJ app. Started the New World arc and I'm really loving the series and hopefully I can catch up with it by the end of the year. :)
Great vid . What I’m looking to get now is the berserk deluxe and monster perfect editions. Hopefully they restock and go on sale for Black Friday. Edit: oh I really hope you enjoy blue period. It was such a great read that I had to continue reading the scans after volume 2 , definitely going to get the physicals also once available
I also purchased and read volume 1 of Asadora recently (well bought it in June) and I'm already booked!! I've ordered vol 2 - 4 and can't wait to sink my teeth I to them! Urasawa never disappoints, hope you enjoy!
Not gonna lie, i thought you were gonna pull up with the demon slayer box set lol. I have never played or read any zelda but this makes me want to get the box set and start it myself. I recently got vol, 1 of Hell's paradise and vol, 6 of chainsaw man.
The market seems to be flooded with volume 6 of Chainsaw Man while there's not enough of the other vols
Definitely play the games for zelda, don’t just read the books
i recently picked up all of "to the abandoned sacred beasts" and "asadora!"
been tryna pick up more vertical works to vary my collection by publisher, and i recently finished reading 20th century boys and am watching thru monster. i am HOOKED on urasawa's works
OH YOU PICKED UP ASADORA TOO! lmao i commented that as i started the video
Dorohedoro got MAD confusing but the art work kept me going
Mao Vol 2 just came out like a day before this video. I also got Vampire Hunter D omnibus of the light novels. Been digging them. I have Hell's Paradise 1, 4,5, and 6. I have 2 and 3 on back order, whoop whoop.
my favorite part about games that have manga is understanding what happened in the game and it goes more in depth
Welcome back Boogie love your passion and energy always ! ;-)
Absolutely love Inuyashiki, such an intense story of duality with deep questions surrounding humanity. Hope you enjoy it!
That haul in beginning with falling boxes is my dream!! But adult life married, kids, bills stops me :( haven't bought over a yr :( except bought the latest twilight princess for my husband as a surprise

Love your videos boogie! You’ll be happy to know I did a presentation on manga artwork today and it slapped 👏
I have been buying Murciélago the last 2 months! :D Now I saw that there would be a release of the collector's edition for Fairy Tail, and I'm already subscribed to it as well (just hoping the first 3 will get home soon)

I recently got the Demon Slayer box set and Rent-a(very shy)-girlfriend Vol 1.
I really want to haul the other half of the I am a hero manga and I need to order one piece box set nr. 3. After that I'll either with Vagabond, Monster or Vinland Saga. I also want to get Neon Genesis Evangelion but those are kinda hard to get I think.
