then that would of been very predictable and basic and boring because that story was already told and Luke didn’t listen 👂 to Obi Wan nor Yoda who wanted him to kill Vader and didn’t want him to know that Vader was his farther. Yoda also hid in dagaboth when he blame himself for failing the Jedi order and Obiwan blame himself for failing his padawan. In Rebels In the episode Twin Suns ☀️ 🌞, Obi WAN believes Luke to be the chosen one and not Anikan and Yoda believe in another. Sure Obi Wan was a better teacher this time around but he had to endure failure to get there. Luke Philosophy was some what similar to Ashoka and Qui-Gon Jinn, except Luke blame himself for his nephew failures and questioned the Jedi just as Ashoka did. Qui-jinn didn’t listen 👂 to a doctrine minded Jedi instead he followed the way of the force as he believe that’s what a true Jedi master do. Obi Wan and Yoda during the presequel era were doctrine minded Jedi. Obi-wan and Yoda who were on the Jedi Council Seat 💺 end up learning the Force ghost technique through Qi-Gon Jinn who wasn’t on the Jedi council but he followed the WAYs of The Force, who in a way end up becoming their Master. Obi Wan and Yoda learned through failure, Ashoka on the other hand was able to see through the cracks because the Jedi accuse her and she observed their behavior. Believe it or not Anikan also seen through the Jedi cracks hence is why he turned away. But Luke did not follow Yoda nor Obi Wan orders, who wanted him to slay Vader(Dragon) to protect the Galaxy 🌌, instead Luke did not want to slay Vader even though he thought 💭 about as he did with Ben Solo but his 💗 for them stop him for doing so even though it would probably saved lives. Ashoka on the other hand had a better understanding of the Jedi flaws than Luke who just acted out of love. Luke in the Last Jedi had a better understanding of the Jedi flaws but Yoda taught Luke about failure when he said failure is the greatest teacher 👩🏫 👨🏫 of them all. Luke in the deleted cut scene taught Rey a valuable lesson, Luke like the OT Yoda uses humor to teach, Yoda in the pre sequels was very serious, Doctrine Minded and political and fearful which made him blind. Yoda in the OT and sequels was more laid back, silly and wiser and was not fearful or arrogant but instead Confident in his connection with the Force , because of that he was able to see clearly. To me true Jedi Philosophy is similar to The Je'daii Order, Potentium and the Unifying Force concept which is to me superior to the Pre sequel era Jedi Philosophy, to understand the Force is to understand that you are one with the force, to understand the is balance and harmony like the ying and yang ☯️ and to have balance and understanding and control of the mind 🧘♂️🧘and to understand the will of the Force and The Whills of the force ☸️ and the force priestess. Vader, Palpatine, and Kylo REN have a obviously imbalance of the mind while Pre sequels Yoda and Obi wan had a doctrinal and political mind that made them blind and they thought of the Force as a balancing Scale ⏳⌛️when really the force is actually like harmony of a male and female coming together instead of them being separated or the positive and negative in a battery 🔋 to power. Ashoka and Qui-Gon Jinn understood the true meaning of the Force as well as Luke and Yoda later on understood. Star Wars is not only about external but it’s more about internal war, life is obviously physical but to me it’s also more mental since the mental is what’s sets everything up. Carl Jung work definitely inspired Star Wars ⭐️ 🌟 💫.

nice vid! I like the Qui-Gon's green kyber crystal theory a lot! It is one more thing that brings the prequel and the original trilogy closer. :) It makes me happy. I heard that originally in the rough draft the main character was Anakin Starkiller, the student of the master Luke Skywalker. Anyway, I don't mind if the main is named after the creator as long as the character is good and not a cheap wish-fullfilment. Luke is anything but that. Luke is awesome.
There's a canon book that just got released called from a certain point of view based on Yoda's perception in TESB, in this book its confirmed that Luke trained two+ weeks with Yoda on Dagobah.

In my opinion, Luke is the most powerful jedi. In legends, he became a grandmaster, could make black holes, use electric judgement (jedi lightning) and he had more than 27.000 midichlorians, something which is not only true in legends (he had the same potential with his father and even more than Yoda and Sidious). In canon, he also taught many force sensitive children before Ben Solo's fall to the dark side.
Hey SWT, congrats on your channel. I love Star Wars and my all time favorite character is Luke Skywalker. Do you have a video about Luke's journey in the Extended Universe or do you plan on making one? I would love to see it as to me, his journey in the EU is far more engaging than what we got in the sequels. Anyway, take care!
I've always thought at the end of Return of the Jedi, Luke wasn't fully at peace or fully satisfied with himself. Even though he saved his father, I've always thought he felt he could have done more to save his father (this is what was even hinted at in the original Return of the Jedi comic book at the very end). And it would be this subtle sadness that has always permeated within Luke even following the events of ROTJ growing even more powerful as a Jedi master etc.
Rey’s Force vision in Ep.7 was obviously told from the perspective of the Skywalker lightsaber. Whenever we see Rey in the vision, we are actually seeing the lightsaber. It all fits together, except for the scene of young Rey belong left behind. If there was an alternate opening of the Skywalker lightsaber being found on Jakku, then a scene in the vision of the lightsaber on Jakku witnessing a young Rey being left behind suddenly makes sense.
"And the rest of the Mickey Mouse club at Disney.." hahaha. Well said, Theory.

Honestly I kind of like your theory
Qui-Gon’s crystal would be perfect for Luke to help defeat the emperor and avenge qui gone from what happened to him in the phantom menace
I kind of like the old way that Luke created his crystal like the sith made theirs, from a machine. So it’d be a synthetic kyber crystal. We already knew it was hard for Luke to find all the pieces for his lightsaber so
@@DefecTec I don’t like that. Luke is supposed to be the best Jedi ever.

I’d love to know more about Luke’s personality as a Jedi. I feel like his way of thinking is something I’ve always idolized (pre sequel)
The legends books are a good way of getting inside his head and seeing his thought process as a Jedi. That’s what I’d recommend wether it’s reading it or listening to an audiobook
In the mandalorian he seems calm and one with the force, like Qui gon

Luke Skywalker is one of the best characters of all time. He’s literally iconic. The Last Jedi did him dirty
Mark Hamill when people ask him if he really knows the character of Luke Skywalker: "Of course I know him. He's me."
Nobody knows Luke better than Mark, except maybe George Lucas
Hey theory i've been a silent fan since you did your fallen order play through. thanks for being such an amazing role model for everyone in this community. You are the chosen one.
Seeing how Luke was portrayed in the sequels was heartbreaking. Thank you Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni for rescuing the character we all know and love
youre such a great guy theory. youve made my childhood so awesome and memorable, just like George has. may the force be with you... always.
I still think they should bring Sebastian Stan in to play a young Luke Skywalker in future Star Wars movies/shows. He looks so similar to a young Mark Hamill and he’s such a good actor, that it would just be amazing to see him bring the character to life.
I would be ok with a recast of Han/Luke/Leia. There is plenty of talent out there, and to ignore these characters is a wasted opportunity
i thought the cgi mark hamill looked pretty good in The Mandalorian.
@@swarakotamraju9463 it looked pretty good for a short time but for a whole series or movie an actor with slight alterations makeup etc would work much better imo
Deepfakes all the way, no need for Stan. Even a modest Disney budget would create awesome results with the machine learning required for it.
i’m so happy luke was put in the mandalorian. i think it’s one of the best things that have been done with star wars in a while!

Then when the emporer says that his faith in his friends is his weakness in 6 ... I heard that originally in the rough draft the main character was Anakin Starkiller, the student of the master Luke Skywalker.
Anyway, I don't mind if the main is named after the creator as long as the character is good and not a cheap wish-fullfilment. Luke is anything but that. Luke is awesome.
The 9 dislikes are from the dark troopers.
Great video. I love the robot chicken parody skit, where he wants to pick up "power converters". It's hilarious, and makes sense.
There's a canon book that just got released called from a certain point of view based on Yoda's perception in TESB, in this book its confirmed that Luke trained two+ weeks with Yoda on Dagobah.
Loved the shade you threw at them SWT. After all this time you have been very respectful and neutral as possible. But I think (*Palpatine Voice*) "The time has come" especially after the way they treated you to finally speak your mind and just let loose
Leia: How much time it took you to take training for jedi.
Luke: 6
Leia: 6 what?
Luke: 6 months, days .... Matters upon the person.
"I'm Luke Skywalker, I'm here to rescue you."
I see that more as just a quote said to Princess Leia. I find life hard sometimes and Star Wars really saves me from reality and all the problems. Luke is saving me from my problems.

It was palpatine.
@@ehiracheta I agree, why would she die of a broken heart if she still had hope for Anakin?
@@ehiracheta that’s the only acceptable answer for me. I can’t imagine just dying of a broken heart immediately after you’ve given birth to two children. I don’t care if you’re husband turned evil. You’re children would need you. I think it was Palpatine draining her life force.

Personally I would have loved to see Luke as an Imperial pilot, especially when he is revealed to be Vader's son (something Vader knew for a while before he reveals it) as his status as a fighter ace would earn him a top position in the Empire's high command at this point, possibly even an apprentice of Vader himself if Palpatine allowed it.

There is so much I want to learn about the universe and I really appreciate the passion you have for Star Wars, it's inspiring to me in so many ways!
Skyguy Jr really slayed that hallway scene so much, aka killed it both literally and figuratively!
Why do I have a feeling that you could make a very good Luke yourself Theory. You have the looks all you need is the hair.
My favorite fictional character of all time.
Rey - I become most powerful Jedi
Anakin and Luke Skywalker - we character development
Rey’s Force vision in Ep.7 was obviously told from the perspective of the Skywalker lightsaber. Whenever we see Rey in the vision, we are actually seeing the lightsaber. It all fits together, except for the scene of young Rey belong left behind.
If there was an alternate opening of the Skywalker lightsaber being found on Jakku, then a scene in the vision of the lightsaber on Jakku witnessing a young Rey being left behind suddenly makes sense.
