Note this is also works alot better on already loose dirt, it you have an established garden makes it a breeze, rocks and roots will wear out the unit but it does what it can for the power and quality of the unit. With that in mind 7/10 for me. My experience is knowing its a cultivating tool used to mix soil, and not a tiller which i ment to break up soil. Ive seen many reviews where people would try to use this on hardened soil and it makes me giggle
These are on clearance at a nearby Walmart in my area, and I'm thinking of getting one to attach to a Troybilt gas string trimmer, and I'll use it to mix compost and loose soil. You have convinced me that it's worth a try.
