Joey, I'm thinking the new 45 degree angle stove-pipe extension will itself also give off some added heat.. so it's a win-win that it ended up looking that way. You did well, welding it in that extreme cold. Your accomplishment in this is most definitely worth a tasty beverage! Cheers!
Lol, I didn't think you would be able to wait for warmer weather to fix the wood stove. For as much grief as it gave you I'm glad you got it done. It must of really made you mad this morning.
Great job on the wood stove now you have another barrel for another wood stove or a replacement. still no snow in central Ohio supposed to warm up and have liquid sunshine instead of snow for Christmas.
Hello from the interior of Alaska. I don't like those double barrel stoves either, the only stack fire I've ever had was with one of them. Have a great day.
Howdy from Connecticut! My shirt finally showed up from Oklahoma thanks to Brad and Sir Rodney. Definitely my new favorite. Also, super happy to see the views and subscribers up. You and Xena's hard work will pay off!!!
Instead of watching your doings at breakfast, I wanted to see your stove fix. So I'm watching you between sips of bourbon. Goodnight, Prolly come back in the AM😎👍
I delivered an ex rcmp chevy tahoe to a place in Saskatchewan in 2010 or 2011. I picked up the chevy tahoe from Surrey BC and I drove it to Saskatchewan for the customer. I had a little honda civic hatchback on a tow bar that hitched to the Tahoe. Those ex police cruisers have a 3.08 gear ratio that enables them to cruise at higher speeds and keeps the engine running at lower rpms and they get incredible fuel efficiency on long highway trips. I used to own a mid 90's chevy caprice ex police car with the LT1 350 under the hood. That car had a lot of power. But very costly to keep it maintained. I broke a lot of parts with that car. Ever since the tri five Chevy Bel Air, the impala and caprice were phenomenal vehicles! The mid 90's caprices were nicknamed widow makers because GM increased the horsepower but they didn't make any improvements to the brakes. These cars had an incredible top speed but not enough braking distance. Troopers would be code 3 getting to the scene of an incident but sometimes wound up in crashes as they arrived. The invention of antilock brakes hinders their stopping ability
yes the tahoe was great mileage and we towed back that 69 chevy c10 from alberta which worked out well. any hot rod built in the 60-80s did not have much brakes for some reason. now you can buy good upgrade kits thansk
The old people in Ireland used to say that after Dec. 21st the days get longer by a cock's step each day, so I guess that's equivalent to a ptarmigan's step in WHOville! Glad you got the stove done. I also enjoyed your review of Mr Heater and had to laugh when you said it was a WARM -19C. Best wishes. Tony.
yes but up here it will not be until january when we start to notice the difference in the days. anything with a computer board gives us nothing but problems for some reason thansk
I had 2 barrel stove in the shop years ago, worked wonders. When the top barrel was cherry red you knew it would be a good day. I think your wood is the issue.
I like the Dr. Seussian stove pipe, a tad more heat to the shop before it goes outside as opposed to being straight. All you had to do was turn the stove around but then the door would open the wrong way. An overall good show your Highness. Stayin tuned! 👍🤠 🎄
yes the door opening the wrong way would be so confusing. we had to do something right now because burning wood, smoking out the shop and no heat. thansk
I'm thinking the same, John... the Dr. Seuss 45 degree angle stove pipe extension will help radiate some more heat, before the smoke leaves the shop....
Glad your wood burner is working. Still having trouble getting good heat. Inside the firebox the fire is doing okay but not producing many BTUs. As to Mr Heater. Mines been sitting stored for 5 years as I don't want to drive 80 miles one way to a service center and I don't know if I could get the stupid computer board to replace it. I despise anything with electronics on it except most welders. They seemed to have figured out how to make those last. The Mr Heater was $450 waste. I have a smaller Reddy Heater that's about the same except i only have $25 in it. The old ones just used a spark plug and lasted forever. I suppose they don't want them to last.
yes they make products that don't work or last and people keep on buying them too. we have to fix this one our selfs or buy a replacement. the cost to send it south and back will cost more then purchasing a new one. thansk
Mr heater they are a real simple heater take all the electronic crap out an hook up hard wire keep eye on it no safety's but plenty of heat my heater ben workn fine for year's 👍🇺🇸
Zene is making money, crazy amount of money she is spending in almost every vlog, , I only go once per month ,no need to go eveday, lol BigAl California thanks
we live in a different world up here, when water will not boil nothing will burn. your info being posted here will be read by others to learn and fix they stoves too. thansk
I remember you saying in a previous video that you were going to turn the stove the other way around so the stove pipe is straight, did you change your mind ?
What is the flashing light in this video? Saw it on the torpedo heater, on the wordy labels on the back of the hood of the skidoo and on the wood sled. Were you using a flash on the camera for filming?
the Me-phone is getting confused because we are dark and it is trying to auto correct. the Me-phone will do and update and be ok. plus it does t when it gets cold too thansk
Son of a gun. Evidence says a good repair for the double barrel! Wood says crackle, crackle!! Neat episode!
Great fix on the barrel stove, stay warm

I tried telling you how to fix the problem with the barrel stove, but evidently, my personal experience with them doesn't mean anything.
