Very nice. I've started a full suspension rebuild on a 2002 Thunderbird. T-Bird owners are not wrenchers, well most of them anyways. I'm very thankful for the LS owners.
@@mechanized331 nothing me n my friend just thought it was funny. We were watching this because his tie Rod snapped and we couldn’t get that bolt off. Anyways it was funny because you said “give it a tap” then proceeded to make the loudest banging noise possible😂😂
@@mechanized331 I really miss his Lincoln. we originally watched this vid like 6 months ago and since then the car has been put in the scrap yard. Sad that he didn’t take very much care of it, they’re pretty quick even tho nothing was done to it. Thanks for the video though it helped us out!
Outside of mileage or age of the bushing, it’s possible it was an inferior rubber. I do know the front sway bars bushings go quick. I picked up my ‘02 with only 80K miles and they needed to be replaced.
I have a 02 regular V-8 and I just need upper control arms. However, I am going to be replacing everything while I am in there anyway. New hubs, brakes, and suspension. Great video. Funny I have the same exact wheels with the same color car. What are the odds?
Mechanized 331 is it the lateral link assembly, some websites like partsgeek have inner and outer tie rod ends I just don't know and I really need my car fixed
+Barry Dailey Hey man, yes lateral bars or rear torque bars, couple different names out there for them! Here's a link to a set. I must mention that the LS is actually passive all wheel steering! The factory rear bars have a dampener that allows a tiny bit of movement on a hard turn...Just a fun factoid. Most of the aftermarket bars do not have this dampener and it makes no difference really which ones you have. These will work perfectly here: m.ebay.com/itm/LINCOLN-LS-REAR-TOE-ADJUSTMENT-LINK-TORQUE-TIE-ROD-RODS-L-R-6W4Z-5B551-AA-SET-2-/170683939508?fits=Year%3A2002%7CMake%3ALincoln%7CModel%3ALS&hash=item27bd8e3ab4%3Ag%3AecIAAMXQVs1RkS3l&_trkparms=pageci%253A24672b76-6da2-11e7-847d-74dbd18050fa%257Cparentrq%253A624e418c15d0aa12ed5bfd17fffd53c7%257Ciid%253A1

@@tali4prez oh man! Yea very nice cars. Glad the vid helped, take it easy.
Still have your this Lincoln LS? I just bought one at an auction.
Cool! Yes actually I do, it’s a back up car now primarily.
You have a voice of a annoucer
Why were the bushings on the LS such a bad product? I've had to repair all the sway bars and control arms on my 2004.

Great video! Nice Car! Thanks!
Never had to take off my breaks to do the tie rods. But maybe because mine is a 03 Lincoln ls v8
Tom Johnston That’s true, but more was happening then just tie rods, calipers painted along with cross drilled rotors.
What year is your LS?
It’s a 2002 LSE.

Yeah that's a good idea since you'll already be in there! I'm sure yours looks great as well!
does the rear have inner and outer?
No. Just one rod per side

What wheels are those you have on your Lincoln?
BigCHE99 Hey. Those are Stern ST8's 18x8. I think they're discontinued; I bought them about 11 years ago.
Dang...thx for the reply. They look good on there!!
BigCHE99 Thanks.
