Wow! As a guy, knowing my woman thinks like this would encourage me to do better every day in life. I cant recall ever meeting someone like you. Your husband is truly blessed and I pray you all continue to have an amazing life together!

Hi Alana! Great advice! I try to bless my husband by making sure coffee is done and breakfast is ready in the morning before he wakes up. I also care for our cats even though they drive me nuts haha but I scoop litter and feed them even when I don't really feel like it. A little goes a long way. We did not used to be like this. It wasn't until I read Debi Pearls book about being his help meet that I started to change my attitude and really be submissive and serving with joy. My marriage transformed and life has been much better. Love your videos! I try to get one in a day:)

Your children will grow up and make families of their own. Your husband is your life long partner. I lay out my husband’s work clothes and have breakfast and coffee ready for him and a snack and lunch packed for work. I also listen to him play the guitar and ask him about his day. He provides for us and I take care of our daily lives. He enjoys reading and then at night he will tell me about what he read that day if he found it interesting. He’s my best friend and he gives back to me in so many ways. We are both grateful to have found our other half. We’ve been together for 13 years.

Hey Alana, I just felt like encouraging you to keep saying these things!
I know that there is a massive amount of opposition to solid, Biblical marriage advice-- from the world and also within the church. And it's even worse online because everyone feels more free to be more nasty with words.
It is sad that you have to keep clarifying, "No, I'm not saying you have to wait on your husband hand and foot," or "No, I'm not saying you should neglect your kids to pay attention to your husband." Because truthfully, I think these objections are brought up as a way to oppose what's being said, not being brought because they actually happen. At least, I've never known or known of even one marriage today where the woman actually acted like a slave to her hubby's needs... if such marriages do exist, they are extremely rare and not an epidemic in the way people often imply!
Anyway-- I know how discouraging those kinds of objections can be and just wanted to say that you are doing a good and godly and rare thing in the way that you exhort us wives. So please keep it up!
For myself and many others, you are one of FEW women we know of who is willing to say the things you do. :)

It’s VERY refreshing to hear this as a man when everything else online basically puts us down and influences women to only acknowledge their needs completely forgetting that we have emotions/feelings/needs/wants that hardly ever get prioritized. Thank you for promoting a positive, healthy and most importantly EQUAL relationship. True teamwork

Only married 2 years, living overseas, a one year old, and a second on the way - my husband often gets my leftovers! And I’m not proud to say that! I love these practical tips. I see so much of my moms attitude and behavior in your videos, and need to joyfully reflect on how I should be loving and respecting my husband, especially as a command from the Lord! Thanks sister. 💛

So true. That really is important. When I see my wife consciously making a point to save time (and energy 😉) for me at the end of the day after all the chaos. When I see her effort for me, I am instantly filled with a desire to make sure I do the same and more for her!

My husband loves when I work with him. On the lawn or in the garage!!! He enjoys doing projects together. Thank you for your insight. It’s very helpful! I listened to your stuff while we were dating and yesterday was our 1 year anniversary! I really appreciate your feedback. God bless you dear sister!

    On point, Alana!
Can I also add that our husbands also gain a massive amount of satisfaction out of seeing us pleased.
So, for me learning to be vulnerable in exposing to him what I would like, enjoy or need and allowing him to fulfill it and then him seeing my genuine delight in receiving his act of love goes such a long way to building him as a man. It's a win-win 😊

My husband works night shift (hard!!) and I try to bless him by making him his coffee and breakfast at 2pm even though it is totally out of whack (cleaning up kids' lunchtime while making eggs and toast.)

Hi I've been watching your videos for a while now and i must say youre truly a blessing, mentor and inspiration to me..keep doing what you're doing. You are fulfilling the scriptures by teaching younger women to love their husbands and be workers at home❤ which one day I hope to do.

Ways I try to bless my husband is I normally wakd up in the morning and pack his lunch, I too listen to him play guitar & sing a long, I try to have dinner on the table when he gets home or atleast have it cooked before he's home, and try to get the house as clean as possible before he gets home. I have 3 kids: 9,3, and 1 year olds. So things can get pretty hectic at our house.
