OMG, these guys are the truth! I’m a military veteran, been having pain in my left butt area, that traveled down my leg for the past 2 weeks, I assumed it was my sciatica, so I’ve been doing stretches for my sciatica with little to no relief; well guess what? I did this piriformis stretch and viola, instant relief. I want to cry tears of joy. God Bless you both 😊

Over a year ago I was working at the vet, trying to restrain a 98 lbs German Shepherd and suddenly I feel a snap and electricity through my waist, lower back and right leg. That night I was unable to sleep, because of the pain and same happened over 1 1/2 month. I was unable to walk, stand or sit without pain, in many occasions my leg felt without any strength and tripped while walking. The pain calm, but always was there through this year. Now it is very bad again, I can’t tolerate the pain anymore and yes I’m gonna get check this time. If I bend it hurts, if I stand it hurts, if I’m sitting it hurts, if I’m laying on the bed it hurts… But I want to add that I did this test 5:03 and I felt that my right lower back and butt was about to break, the pain was awful. I’m just 28 y/o, but to be honest I haven’t treat my body carefully all this years… there are many stories that I can tell, but never broke a bone. Bull chase, dog attacks, a jet-sky run over my waist when he was getting out of the water, felt from trees many tienes, jump a 12+’ roof with an umbrella or a big bag as a kid, cow kicks, bicycle accidents, four track accidents and the list go on. But never felt such pain until that day, the day that I forced myself to restrain a furious, angry 98 pounds German Shepherd, so I could administrate the sedative to heal his wounds. Passion hurts sometimes 😪

Hi Bob & Brad, I'm not experiencing any back pain and my pain is radiating from my piriformis and going down my leg. My Glutes are tight and sore and streching helps along with a lacrosse ball. I'm confident I have piriformis syndrome. However, when I do the slump test as demonstrated in your video the pain still radiates down my leg. Are you suggesting this could also be coming from my back? I emphasize the word "suggesting" as of cource your can't give a medical diagnosis but in your experience do you think this could be Sciatica?

I did the test but I answered no to everything, though I think I'll pass it with flying colors when I have my moments of pain..
I have some sort of pain in my spine but I dont think its in the lumbar coz its just in line with my last rib..and when i do gardening like for 1-3 hours, after a while, my right butt (pelvic bone(?) or something all the way to my knee will feel weak and painful depending on the angle, and I wouldn't be able to walk or sit without feeling pain till I find the right angle to be able to do so. Though the slightest movement will bring pain.I also cant put my weight on my right side coz it'll hurt. It disappears when I put hot compress on my butt.
I wonder if there's a sciatica case that could be reoccuring only at certain conditions...Even though my butt and knee pain is gone...my spine ache is still there when I bend backwards

I also feel a bit of heat there.
    About the Piriformis-
I have to do stretches everyday (in my left side, which got worse since the back pain.)
But i used to have it before..
My butt is in so much pain in the middle especially
Now i don't know if the knee, calf(sensation a bit), heel pain and the back of my thigh(a bit of sensation) hurts a bit because of the back or because of the butt...
    Any help?
I feel like there is imaginary line from the spot in my lower back to the middle of my butt which causes pain.
    * i tried running before I got the steroid shot and when i hit with heel on the ground i felt stab in the exact same point which is in pain in my lower left back.
    * compares to the right side..

Westcoaststyling maybe they found out they were being used to but out disinformation and had to remove the video. I really like Bob and Brads channel. There videos help so many. I don’t think they would give such a plea unless they thought is was true. I give them a lot of credit for removing the video to make it right if truly that is what happened.

I don't feel pain in any of these test situations but I still have constant pain in my lower back, especially when trying to reach something from the floor, or when I try to touch my toes with straight legs. Is that can be still Sciatica?

hi. I've done some stretching exercises from this channel in the hopes that it would help with something, but it evidently has not... i have what feels like a lump in my lower back, just to the right of the right dimple above my buttock. it's usually not painful at all, but if any pressure goes onto it, it's the most excruciating pain that I've ever felt(like someone's punching my bone with a protruding knuckle)... i'm even afraid to do a backward roll, because while doing that, i sometimes shift my weight slightly to the right and... hello pain. I don't know what it is and don't know what tests to do to find out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It took me 9 months to completely heal sciatica/herniated disc. McKenzie exercises helped me greatly. I did not see a doctor at all and healed it by doing a lot of stretching based on Bob & Brad's videos. I also sometimes took Ibupurofen and turmeric pills. I got herniated dsic due to sitting in a bad posture for a long time due to office work, so I bought myself a standing desk.

Mine seems to be neither piriformis nor sciatica. Might be the spinal stenosis but it's deep and low in my right buttock. It recurs a few times per year. Feels like a tight tendon or something. I have stenosis in all 3 major spinal regions plus bursitis in both hips plus widespread arthritis plus fibromyalgia etcetcetc. So without going to my dr, I don't know but I intensely don't wanna go so I sit here and hurt. Aren't I brilliant? 🙄🤦😜

I just have a question for you guys: Are you qualified physicians ?
Good content tho in my opinion they should put their ego a side a bit (specially the guy on our right, which I'm guessin is Bob)
It's just funny how they look at each other while explaining, sort of like looking for approval in regards, sort of looking for confirmation that they're right from one another. LOL. For most part tho i had the feeling that they are talking to each other, not to their audience. Which is fine i guess, cos the content is good.

You'll hav to see your doctor first thats the way the game is played then he'll refer you to a neurologist

    • @kingl6609
      @kingl6609 2 года назад +1

Do not trust the NHS system, they will fail you miserably. What you have to do is get a private MRI and from get a private consultation with a neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon will tell you the best possible treatment whether that’s just physiotherapy or a surgery. Do not waste your time with GPs. They are incompetent and do not have any knowledge whatsoever of anything but a common cold.
